SOLVED - Ear Speaker not working

My Ear Speaker is not working anymore. Did someone have this Problem with HTC Vox 710 too. I have made a Factory reset and I have use original Firmware and other - Windows Mobile 6.5 .... Speaker don´t work but the hands-free phone system speaker is working. What can i do?
Thank you very much.
Cu
You may have to replace the earpieace. It is a separate little loudpseaker in the VOX. The handsfree speaker is on the back. If you are lucky then only the contacts between the earpiece and the PBA are dirty and need cleaning - but as these are gold-plated it is not very probable.
Disassamblnig the VOX is not for noobs - so you need to find someone that can do that.
I have repaired it . I´m a elektiker and I disassambling the VOX with a service manual guide.
I found the Vox Service manual in the Internet.

It was not easy to open it with a little little Plastic Card but it work and no scratches on my Phone

Congratulations
You mastered the common pitfalls then:
- SIM Door not closing properly (switch not aligned)
- Flex Cable not connected properly (the big one in your picture)
Having it disassembled, you surely did a little cleaning as well. If the earpiece was not working because of dirt, surely the rest of the device had also collected some debris.
You are fit then to replace the screen if it should ever be required.

[Q] EAR speaker broken[no sound]

oke,so my ear speaker has no sound while calling.
and i dont know if there is any other way of testing it.(all music ect ect go's trugh back speaker)
so im geusing its broken.
so my question is. where can i get a new one?(speaker part)
or is there a way to test it to see if it stil works.
You sure it's not in silent mode? Sorry, but it has to be asked.
It could be a lose connection or just went bad. I had same problem but with rear speaker id just hit it on the palm of my hand a few times and would start working
eventually stopped working all together so i took apart cleaned connections and reseated to the mainboard but no go so i sent back to Samsung
You can try to order the part but you will have to desolder the speaker off the cable becasue the earpiece and rear speaker are two separate parts for some reason
so when you order the new piece it wont come with the rear speaker so you will have to solder that back on...this is why i sent to Samsung didn't want to deal with soldering plus phone was under warranty so
this is the whole assembly (impossible to find online to purchase)

this is what you want
this is the rear speaker you have to desolder off and onto new cable
if under warranty and if definitely defective i would send back if under warrenty

Removed Loud Speaker Grill - Volume Boost

In an attempt to improve the speaker volume on my Sensation, I popped the little silver grill off the back of the case and viola! The speaker volume is significantly louder and i am very pleased.
Does the grill serve any purpose other than keeping dust and debris out & preventing something from puncturing the speaker? Has anyone else done with with good results?
Well it does prevent accidental damage.
Maybe enlarge the holes in it and put it back? Seems safer with it there
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I777 using Tapatalk
I'm going to leave it off. Everything is significantly louder now. Can't believe it took me 6 months to figure this out. I am now content with the sensation for a while longer!
No Difference
Removing the grill doesnt seem to make a difference, at least not for me.
Try playing a song and then removing the back cover. Do you notice a difference in volume?
Use the app volume+ really kick Ass
send with my sensi

Good app and if rooted you can make the in call volume louder +1
Another update...I looked inside the grill and it had a small piece of clear plastic on it (pictured above the grill). I removed that, put the grill back on and everything still sounds great. Hope this helps someone.

That's bizarre! Glad mine did't have it....
Also another Volume+ user!
Or you can install xLOUD mod , really loud but not distorted wont hurt your phone speaker.

[Q] Vibration issues?

Hi, I've been noticing this problem really from Day 1 with the Nexus S..the vibration is not smooth.
When placed on a table and if I get a call or message, the vibration motor seems like it's damaged and will not give me a 'smooth' vibration, rather a wavy one, which sounds bad.
Is this a common problem, or am I the only one with it? Any quick fix?
It's caused by friction between the phone vibrating against the hard surface of the table. If you put it in water, which has less friction than solid objects, the vibration will be smoother, although the phone will die due to the water, so try it on a pillow or soft mattress instead.
It is smooth if I'm holding it or something, but compared to other phones (ie iPhone), when placed on a table, mine is much more wavy and less smooth.
Might simply be because of the type of motor used.

Nexus S
Just looking at how both works, you'll understand why the Nexus S one creates more movement as opposed to the iPhone one.
Without being able to see it or hear it ourselves it's kinda hard to judge if it's normal anyway.
That pretty much answered it, my Sony Xperia Play use the iPhone one.
Thanks. But just tell me, when your NS vibrates (you can test it right now at this moment) from a call or message on a table, is it SMOOTH/STREAMLINED, or can you notice that wavy pattern like it's shaking, and sounds bad? It's not a loudness issue, it's how it vibrates, and I have had this rant since day one haha.

Coulax 4.1 Bluetooth headphones

I just recently came back from trip which required air travel. Like most I decided to load up my device with some movies to watch on the trip. I brought several sets of headphones with me including a wired set. I found no matter which set I used I could not hear scenes where the characters talked very low due to the noise of the jet engines. I stumbled across these headphones by Coulax which are affordable and have a well designed ear piece to block out outside noise. The sound quality is very good and the build is good quality. They link together around your neck magnetically to secure them when not in use. They can be found for under $30 in many places.

After using them a bit more here are a few more thoughts: The packaging was appropriate for shipment to avoid any damages in transit. Included is a pouch carrying case. I have been sharing them with the rest of my family and they all enjoy the sound quality and now we seem to be fighting over who gets to use them when since the noise cancellation is so good. too.
Pros:
Excellent noise cancellation with earbud design
Very good sound quality, excellent highs and lows
Lightweight
Magnet secures them on your neck when not in use
Low cost
Good battery life
Cons:
Power button is not perfect - you need to press more on one side than the center
Out of curiosity, does your M9 Micro-stutter over bluetooth? Usually over the course of an hour I can have my bluetooth micro-stutter 3-7 times per hour.
