My Ear Speaker is not working anymore. Did someone have this Problem with HTC Vox 710 too. I have made a Factory reset and I have use original Firmware and other - Windows Mobile 6.5 .... Speaker don´t work but the hands-free phone system speaker is working. What can i do?
Thank you very much.
Cu
You may have to replace the earpieace. It is a separate little loudpseaker in the VOX. The handsfree speaker is on the back. If you are lucky then only the contacts between the earpiece and the PBA are dirty and need cleaning - but as these are gold-plated it is not very probable.
Disassamblnig the VOX is not for noobs - so you need to find someone that can do that.
I have repaired it . I´m a elektiker and I disassambling the VOX with a service manual guide.
I found the Vox Service manual in the Internet.

It was not easy to open it with a little little Plastic Card but it work and no scratches on my Phone

Congratulations
You mastered the common pitfalls then:
- SIM Door not closing properly (switch not aligned)
- Flex Cable not connected properly (the big one in your picture)
Having it disassembled, you surely did a little cleaning as well. If the earpiece was not working because of dirt, surely the rest of the device had also collected some debris.
You are fit then to replace the screen if it should ever be required.

Hello,
does anyone know a software that can mirror my devices screen?
Yesterday evening, I drove around but forgot to take the holder for my PPC with me. So I just put it under the front window. An surprisingly I could read the screen just fine. Just like an Head Up Display. The only was that it was mirrored by the front window. So I wonder about if there is a software that could mirror my screen, so that the image in the window is just fine.
With this, I can have my navigation without having the PPC stick in the holder.
It would be great, if I can map that software to a hardware button, to switch it on after typing in the destination (which would be an bit difficult mirrored)
Can someone help me?
oixio
PS: I hope you understand me. I'm from germany and sometimes I do not find the right words to say what I want.
Yes, i'm also using my ppc for hud a long time ago, but i haven't found a program to do that.
Can anyone help?
Have a look at tchart speed sentry http://www.tchartdev.com/ this has a HUD mode but it doesnt display maps just speed heading etc. I find the double reflections from the automotive glass a major distraction - but see what you think - Mike
Thanks Mike. I'll give it a try.
If you find anything else post it here...
Speed Sentry software
Hi Guys I saw the Speed Sentry software.. I like the software I just dont like the looks.. so I designed some skins for them... I've emailed them the samples hoping that they would use it =)

"And if someone know for what are the other two antennas, please tell me."
the good bet would be
wifi
and gps
Top Left: Wifi / Bluetooth
Top Right: GPS
Bottom: GSM / 3G
You should note these stickers are complete bull. The FCC has gone as far as to sue several manufacturers of them.
Also when you view videos on youtube of them "working" here's the gist of it.
They place the sensor of the Digital EMF Meter directly behind the sticker. If the sticker is made from TIN or LEAD, then yes you will see a reduction directly behind the sticker.
This doesn't mean your phone is actually emitting less radiation. In fact it might be emitting MORE into your face, as the sticker is placed on the back, and merely refracts the radiation.
@ Rudegar - I know that the other two are for the GPS and WiFi,but I which is for the GPS and which is for the WiFi
@ @Class - Thank you a lot
oke,so my ear speaker has no sound while calling.
and i dont know if there is any other way of testing it.(all music ect ect go's trugh back speaker)
so im geusing its broken.
so my question is. where can i get a new one?(speaker part)
or is there a way to test it to see if it stil works.
You sure it's not in silent mode? Sorry, but it has to be asked.
It could be a lose connection or just went bad. I had same problem but with rear speaker id just hit it on the palm of my hand a few times and would start working
eventually stopped working all together so i took apart cleaned connections and reseated to the mainboard but no go so i sent back to Samsung
You can try to order the part but you will have to desolder the speaker off the cable becasue the earpiece and rear speaker are two separate parts for some reason
so when you order the new piece it wont come with the rear speaker so you will have to solder that back on...this is why i sent to Samsung didn't want to deal with soldering plus phone was under warranty so
this is the whole assembly (impossible to find online to purchase)

this is what you want
this is the rear speaker you have to desolder off and onto new cable
if under warranty and if definitely defective i would send back if under warrenty

It powers on, all sensors function fine, the digitizer works, the touch sensor works, and the rotation works. The insurance deductible is $180 I believe. I dont want to pay that and risk getting a refurbished phone since it is only 2 weeks old.
Are there outfits that are NOT Samsung Repair that can replace the glass? That is all that seems to be broken.
Also are there other things that are possibly damaged that i am not aware of? it fell from about chest hight while texting onto a concrete sidewalk screenside first. Everything works so far it's just very finger slicey. Advice on what is also possibly broken or could break if not careful until i finally get it fixed would also be great. Thank you.
Quick search found these links.

You also need the tools and skill. I wouldn't try on a new phone. If you rip it apart and ruin it insurance doesn't cover that.
Then you have this option to keep your phone which will be "refurbished" afterwards.

Also does anyone know where these pins go to on the board ? The traces are gone & shining a high powered light thru the board doesnt show anything that they were connected to..
