Stuck on twrp boot splash screen - General Questions and Answers

Hi,
Flashed twrp and installed the lineageos with gapps. However it rebooted and is now stuck on teamwin recovery project 3.5.2_9-0 I have Flashed previous twrp too but still justs boot looping to that splash screen.
how can I get this fixed so it boots back to the os?
I have tried putting it in fastboot. I'm using Odin3 as adb does not seem to work on my Samsung tab a 2016 WiFi T580.
Thank you in advance.

What commands are you using to flash?
Can you copy and paste from command/terminal?

@Monsterstep
ADB works on all Android devices unless USB debugging didn't get enabled on them.

So I tried .\adb devices which shows the tablet then. \fastboot flash twrp.img but it does nothing. On Odin3 I click AP and select the image then click start it pushes it but does nothing else.

Become familiar with Fastboot commands!
Code:
fastboot flash twrp.img
is an absolutely wrong command: correct one is
Code:
fastboot flash recovery twrp.img

I shall try that and report back.

I just get waiting for any device.
I've also tried adb reboot-bootloader but that just sits doing nothing.
I've tried it on hold power vol up and home button and power down and home. But both don't seem to do anything.

That command would be adb reboot bootloader
fastboot and adb are for use at different times. I use adb while booted in to TWRP or my ROM and fastboot when I'm at the bootloader/download mode screens.
'fastboot devices' (without the quotes) should give you a similar output to 'adb devices' when it is working.

Thank you for the screenshots.
I think I have a better understanding of what is going on now.
Unfortunately it does not look great.
At this point I would either try to re-install LineageOS using the command
adb sideload lineage-version.zip

[Q] Frozen at bootloader, no adb or fastboot

Hello,
I was attempting to clean out (format) everything on my phone and start over with a fresh ROM, and it looks like I went a bit overboard. Now I'm stuck at the bootloader, but it appears to be frozen. When it loads, I get:
Code:
FASTBOOT MODE - NO BOOT OR RECOVERY IMG
PRODUCT NAME - HERRING
HW VERSION - REV 11
BOOTLOADER VERSION - 19020XXLC2
BASEBAND VERSION - 19020XXKI1
CARRIER INFO - TMB
SERIAL NUMBER - (REDACTED)
LOCK STATE - UNLOCKED
The menu appears as well, but I am unable to change the current selection, or perform a selection. (My power button stopped functioning a couple months ago).
Occasionally when I unplug the usb cable I'll see a quick message "USB Control Init USB Control Init End" and it restarts the bootloader. FASTBOOT MODE then just appears empty, and I still cannot access the menu items.
ADB was working before, but now 2 separate computers cannot detect it using "adb devices". I hadn't tried 'fastboot devices' beforehand, but it doesn't detect the phone now.
I tried installing a couple different drivers (Google's, PDANet), and using Wugfresh NRT, but could never connect.
So how's it look, doc? Will it live? Or should I bury it?
Thanks!

As long as the bootloader isn't deleted there's a good chance.
I think you have deleted the OS and the recovery :silly:
When you are in the bootloader, only fastboot commands work.
Type "fastboot devices" to check the connection
Or "fastboot help"

I had to force the "Google Nexus BootLoader Interface" driver onto the system (win 8.1)
I know it says Acer, but it is my Nexus S

When fastboot.exe can see your device you can flash a recovery image.
"fastboot flash recovery recovery.img"
"fastboot boot recovery.img"
You should now be able to start the recovery and use the adb commands.
Hope some of this can help
Thanks for the response! I wasn't sure if I would even get a reply, as the board appears to be rather quiet.

I tried the driver install listed, and I assume it successfuly installed, though I'm not sure how I'd check. but I'm still having the same problem. neither fastboot nor adb recognize the device (though as you said, adb wouldn't at this stage either way).
It doesn't appear that it's even showing up in the device manager (using Windows 7 x64). No search for drivers, no unrecognized device, nothing
I'm afraid it means that my phone is actually freezing during the bootloader loading, since the computer does not appear to recognize it and I can't navigate its menu.
Is there anything I'm forgetting? I may try booting into a Linux live image, to see if windows is just ignoring due to some driver issue. Will follow up with those results.
Thanks again!
I suggest removing all drivers. Each and every trace of it to be removed. Then install the Google USB drivers.
You can also get drivers from Windows Update...

sd storage 0 mb on TWRP

Hi,
I have unlocked the bootloader and rooted my moto g and installed a custom ROM. As the custom ROM had few bugs, i did a restore of my Stock ROM in TWRP.
Now when i see the TWRP to install another custom ROM, it shows the internal Storage is 0 mb . However when the phone is connected to the computer , i can view all the files there, just in recovery it shows 0 mb.
Any Idea guys?
i am using TWRP v2.6.3.3
Try the latest build '2.8.0.1':
http://techerrata.com/browse/twrp2/xt1032
flashed still no luck... and i am not able to wipe the data as well, it says unable to mount
Odd case. It could be partition corruption. Maybe try Phil's Touch.
Alternatively, you could backup contents of 'internet storage' and fastboot fastboot the latest firmware image for your phone. That would fix any partition issues. Tutorial: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2542219
What model do you have?
i have XT1033 dual SIM version.. when i searched the firmware for umtsds i have only 4.3 available for Asia.. (Android 4.3
Blur_Version.14.85.4.falcon_umtsds.AsiaRetail.en.03) however i am right now running 4.4.4... i have one for 4.4.2 which is of Brazil.. any suggestion which one to flash.
I bought this phone in India so i am looking for Asian firmware...
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=54487261&postcount=332
flashed.. i ll try flashing TWRP again..

Unlock Bootloader (if not already done) and flash twrp - mfastboot flash recovery twrp.img
Alternatively you can boot into twrp without flashing: mfastboot boot twrp.img
Download twrp: http://forum.xda-developers.com/moto-g/development/recovery-twrp-2-8-2-0-touch-recovery-t2980621

I can go to the bootloader after entering stock recovery no combination of keys can display the option.
my phone starts normally shows logo and all booting animation but after that it gets stuck on a blank screen showing nothing and no touch response. I have tried aprox 4-5 variants of custom recoveries but i can flash none of them even after trying your command and getting success written on screen.

Question Stuck in Fastboot, trying to install PixelExperience

I'm trying to install PixelExperience following the tutorial here: https://wiki.pixelexperience.org/devices/veux/install/
I got up to the step:
With the device powered off, hold Volume Up + Power. Keep holding both buttons until the “MI” logo appears on the screen, then release.
My device only goes to fastboot when I turn it on though - it won't enter recovery..
When I turn it off, it turns on again straight away and loads into fastboot.
How do I exit fastboot and get into recovery + properly install PixelExperience?
Device is a Poco X4 Pro 5G.
Thanks in advance!

Nope, the best would be to start from scratch, by installing the stock rom with Miflash.
