I was wondering is anyone can help me with this on updating my phone from where it is now cuz it's pretty much kind of useless now but I know it has so much more potential than that I've been doing a little bit of research about it I know some not much but if someone can help me and put me in the right direction how I can update everything manually or harder son it would be greatly appreciated
Updating means patching existing Android version, in your case Android 7.1.1.
Aahh... okay so what do I need to do exactly to update my phone to today's services....
OS updates typically get rolled out by OEM / Carrier if they deem it neccessary.

Dear Experts,
I like(d) the Z3 quite a lot and I was planning to buy it soon.
Just the Quadroot vulnerability makes me very concerned
about this purchase, as my current phone is not affected to it.
Could please somebody run the app on a Z3 and let us know all,
whether the phone is vulnerable:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.checkpoint.quadrooter
Many thanks in advance!

Well, not a good result but not something I'll look at when deciding to buy a phone.
Every qualcomm devices are affected by quadroot.
Yes, I was thinking myself, that it shouldn't be a leading point, when buying the phone, but did you try to patch yours ?
I guess there should be a patch by now, but I didn't take my time for checking deeper into this...
Many thanks for your advice and comments!
Hey guys,
I had a quick question that I couldn't find in the forums, or on Google in general for that matter. Is there a way to change the way time is input on our device? For example, when I'm choosing the time for a calendar event, this is what I see on my Honor 8 running the latest version of EMUI:

"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
Is there a way to go back to this method of selecting the time?
Thanks!
I've been annoyed with the same thing for a while now, and googling shows we are not alone. It seems to be something Huawei has done (at least on Nougat), and I'm afraid there's very little we can do short of hoping for a fix in a future system update.
I received a fake j7 pro as a gift from my grandmother, she bought on the streets thinking it was a good deal. I don't want to tell it was not and already accepted the fake phone, so now I'm trying to get the most out of it.
The specs of the phone are here

the phone has a custom 6.1 android version, and I thought flashing an older version to get rid of the potential threat of having this one, and to run smoothly. A quick search tells me to go jellybean.
Should I flash another rom in this device? Can you recommend any? Thank you!
I currently have the LG K7 model number- LG-K330, it has a T-Mobile Carrier.
I have been wanting to root it, and get the TWRP recovery, but I have been really struggling with this device. The article I was following earlier, was not very specific, and I have only done this with one other device, which was android 4.2.2, so that was a lot easier to do then this. I mainly want to do this because......idk I just do . And my other phone is dying, the screen
