I received a fake j7 pro as a gift from my grandmother, she bought on the streets thinking it was a good deal. I don't want to tell it was not and already accepted the fake phone, so now I'm trying to get the most out of it.

the phone has a custom 6.1 android version, and I thought flashing an older version to get rid of the potential threat of having this one, and to run smoothly. A quick search tells me to go jellybean.
Should I flash another rom in this device? Can you recommend any? Thank you!

I purchased a Korean Version Nexus S and it came with ICS.
When I turn on the phone it has the Google name and a unlocked lock.
(On EDGE to save battery power)

Since I did buy this second hand, I'm afraid to access banking or other financial materials on the phone... I'm wondering would it be best for security reasons to reinstall ICS myself or leave it be because what I have right now is safe to use?
Should I just install the stock GB and wait for the ICS OTA update that is suppose to be coming soon?
Would my Korean Nexus S get the OTA update over here in the US (T-Mobile)?

I currently have the LG K7 model number- LG-K330, it has a T-Mobile Carrier.
I have been wanting to root it, and get the TWRP recovery, but I have been really struggling with this device. The article I was following earlier, was not very specific, and I have only done this with one other device, which was android 4.2.2, so that was a lot easier to do then this. I was wondering is anyone can help me with this on updating my phone from where it is now cuz it's pretty much kind of useless now but I know it has so much more potential than that I've been doing a little bit of research about it I know some not much but if someone can help me and put me in the right direction how I can update everything manually or harder son it would be greatly appreciated
Updating means patching existing Android version, in your case Android 7.1.1.
Aahh... okay so what do I need to do exactly to update my phone to today's services....
OS updates typically get rolled out by OEM / Carrier if they deem it neccessary.

It has the same specs as the c12 except the ram and rom
I was wondering if I could repurpose one of the c12 custom roms for my device, in particular one of the Pixel experience type roms (I hate the bloat wear) and the camera app
I have flashed roms on phones before moto and google phones (pixel and nexsus), but I have never made a custom rom for my phone, any kind of guidance would be appreciated thank you.
Just want to know if its even possible.
