I have a new Razer Kishi controller. The left joystick and d-pad don't work. I just got this controller after returning the other that I had just received that had the same issue. So now that I've had 2 brand new ones that have the same issue, I can confirm it's not the controller but must be the phone. I Google the problem and discover lots of android 11 phones have this issue but have found a fix by turning off things in the accessibility settings. But great!, my accessibility force closes. Any tips on how to fix this? Thanks

Same exact problem here any fix yet?
Nope
if you all have updated OTA, accessing accessibility settings could be a bug of the OTA.
Nubia are well known now to not be able to correctly clear rom cache on updates for some system apps, it causes some bigs like you are mentioning here.
accessibility settings open just fine on 8.64 and 7.64
if you have not updated using the full rom zip, you will need to do a full wipe, install the rom clean, then setup your phone once more.
remember to backup your personal data to a PC as a wipe does delete everything on your phone.
after you've reinstalled the rom, check for accessibility options in settings and change the settings you need to change before connecting you controllers, or adding any other apps.
try checking accessibility options a few times after you do certain things, to see if something you all are doing is causing it to fail. like changing permissions, installing apps, changing settings in some apps that access accessibility.
I have the same problem. I tried the above but it didn't work. I need to go to accessibility to be able to record calls. very bad version 8.65

Hi guys,
I need help. Once I encrypted my phone. Location service/GPS is not working on my phone.
Before encryption. There is the location icon always comes up when I access something like Google Maps. even tried installing GPS toolbox. Able to see the satellites and all.
But after encryption, the location icon does not come up. But somehow in High Accuracy mode, it does get somewhere of an approximation of my location.(from network and Wifi).(This does not go well when you are navigating around)
Have you guys encountered this. I have even tried flashing the new L09 Rom and it is still the same.
Also searched around the forums (Looks like the old Samsung phones had this issue where after encryption the GPS would not work). But the post is way back in 2011. And they din follow up on the posts on how it was fixed.
I have factory reset my phone a number of times, flash new rom(the one shared on this forum)
Also played with the settings nothing happens. I still cannot get GPS to work after encryption.
Also another thing I notice is that during the encryption a strange error came up and say that Settings have stopped working. I do not know whether there is a coincidence or not and whether it has anything to do with this GPS problems..
Any help is welcomed. as having a phone with no GPS is really driving me up the wall.

Really sorry for late response - but you can fix this problem using attached file - this is apk from China version of Mate7 make you be able to give (or revoke) access to system data storages (including GPS) to applications.
I had the same problem as you - and using this apk i've fixed it successfully.
it doesn't work for me - can anybody sent printsceen of settings of this app?
Thanks
@nchee + @mireczeque
Have you BOTH re-flashed the stock rom by using the official HUAWEI procedure (i.e. three buttons pressed togheter and ROM saved on DLOAD folder)? If so, do you have ALSO applied a WIPE DATA FACTORY RESET plus a WIPE CACHE PARTITION?
I had some problems with APPS crashing when I tried restoring my HAM with B130. I WIPED everithing and THEN re-flashed fresh B130 from DLOAD sdcard procedure, and everithing worked perfectly. I hope this help.

Any fixes? It keeps crashing and reboot doesn't fix it.
Open "Beta" build. Expect bugs. Also there's a reason this build is pulled back by OnePlus. Downgrade to OB11. Everything seems fine to me on OB11.
No issues here on OB12

Anyone has fix this Bluetooth issue in ob12?
So it's still not fixed in ob14
Has this issue just yesterday in OB14. Sudden freeze and reboot. After that Bluetooth settings crash, no lock screen and theming worked buggy. Took a backup and clean flashed. No problems so far
Hello,
I had the same crash with stable 9.04 approx one week after upgrading from 9.0.3.
Suddenly, entering bluetooth made settings app force close.
I couldn't find any solution and ended up to factory reset the phone...

This happens for me every two weeks... I don't know at all why it happens. I'm thinking it could be caused by the navbar gestures, SwiftKey, cf.lumen or maybe kinscreen. Do you use one of these?
I went back to 9.0.4 because of that and it still happens.

Sorry but i use none of these. In my case the rom starts to collapse itself after a few updates dirty flashed. Some system apps not showing on ocasional boots, some sudden soft reboots and then lockscreen not showing at all, theming bugs, and Bluetooth crash. I take backup using oneplus switch and titanium and fresh install open beta, restoring all doesnt take more than 20 minutes.
My bluetooth setting crash, i couldn't connect any new devices. so i searched for solution in this forum. im on OOS 9.0.4. just before i take the plunge wipe data clean install rom, i tried the following.
I first cleared Setting App cache and data, didn't work.
then i gone into recovery and cleared Dalvik cache, didn't work.
then i used Clean Master and cleared system cache, 3gb worth, and bluetooth setting worked again!
hope this helps someone in the future.
Hello guys, i just noticed that bluetooth settings crashing ,everything was working fine for me (as long as i remember), but yesterday i was trying to pair a BT controller and it happened. So let me explain, turning on and off bt affects nothing, but when it's on and you try to go to the settings by long tap on quick settings or by the settings it crashes. when it's off you can go to the settings but once you try to pair a new device it crashes, old paired devices pair when you turn on the BT so it happens only when you try to pair a new device.
I tried to go to the 9.0.6 but it was crashing there too, so i rolled back to OB19.
I'm rooted, magisk 19.2 and twrp and with stock or smurf kernel it crashes , so i ended up pairing the controller with a third party app.
I'm sure it was working before because i paired alot of devices. I tried some "fixes" like freezing the bttestmode or clearing the cache and data of the bluetooth but none of those fixed the issue. So did anyone find a solution.
Thank you
For everyone having BT crashes, try looking at your phone Bluetooth name and check if it's blank. Usually happens to me when fsync fails and I lose my ram data.

Hi,
no problem with my Time Steel, latest Rebble firmware and App.
Did you disable all doze features for the app and allowed background activity?
Tried a factory reset of the watch?

Yes, I did all that... No change...
Old thread, but I found an answer elsewhere that seems to have helped me so far. Try changing the supported version of AVRCP in the Bluetooth settings of your phone. On mine (OnePlus 7T, Android 10) I had to enable developer mode, then found the setting in there. Setting to 1.3 (default was 1.4) seems to have made things much more stable.
Recently on my Note 10+ (SM-N975U1) running stock Pie and Dec 1 2019 update, I have been experience 2 issues.
Notifications for some apps are delayed
App updates hang on Google Play Store
For the app updates, they stall with "Download Pending" or the download stalls with <100% complete.
Resolution steps that have NOT worked
Clearing cache and data for Google Play Store
Rebooting phone
Rebooting into Safe Mode
Changing from Wifi to Cell Network Data and vice versa
Stop/starting app updates
Current Workaround
Closing/swiping the Google Play Store and opening it again. It will eventually complete downloading after multiple attempts and install/update an app - you will have to repeat this continuously for every app you want to install or update.
Is there anyway to debug this without doing a complete reset?
This is a problem I've had on many phones over the last few years. It took me a while to figure it out but it's bluetooth related. More specifically, I had the "Dynamic Lock" option enabled on my Windows 10 work laptop (which basically just locks my pc when my phone gets far enough away). I disabled this and now all my notifications come immediately and play store updates work as they should. I realize that you may not have that enabled and if that is the case then turn off your bluetooth for a while and see what happens. It worked for me and several others on the samsung community forum.

Thank you! I turned off Bluetooth but nothing happened but after I rebooted with Bluetooth off everything started to work again. Is there a permanent fix for this? I am assuming turning back on Bluetooth will cause this to happen again? The strange thing this never happened to my Note 8.

I have no idea why this happens. What I do know I have had this issue on LG phones, Pixels, and Motorola's. It isn't a Samsung thing. I think it's an Android Bluetooth issue.
This is an old thread - but in case someone else finds it, I came across someone's suspicions in another thread that their Plantronics headset was causing some kind of problem with their Bluetooth. I began unplugging my Savi headset when not in use and it seems to help... YMMV.
This has been going on since Pie; made me upgrade from my Note 8 to Note 10 and it came right back. Infuriating.
You may also want to try to rub a lucky stone and do some chanting as well, because it's about as effective as hoping for a fix after all this time.
Hi everyone,
I'm a new Pixel 3a user and I was quite excited to finally get my hands on a Pixel, but I immediately found out an issue which is too annoying for me to ignore: the device keeps losing Bluetooth connection with other paired devices, even if only connected with one. This is so bad that if I cover my BT headphone with one hand or turn my head putting it in between the two devices, the audio starts to cut-out until it loses the connection.
I've tried everything, from Network Reset and deleting Bluetooth cache to even install different Android OS from Android 9 to 12 while performing factory resets, the problem is always there and is just too frustrating.
Are you aware of a possibile solution, like if there are any custom ROMs addressing this problem? I saw this is such a common issue in this device.
Thanks in advance.
Try changing the Bluetooth options in developer options. You probably know how to get the settings menu option by tapping the build number.
You could try the Gabeldorsche stack or other settings, e.g. different versions.

Thanks for the answer! Unfortunately I already tried a lot of different combinations of those settings without success. This is stressful as hell.

Sorry to hear that. Perhaps it's a HW issue with the antenna?
My bluetooth has worked very well, except paired to one cheap speaker. The volume was low and could not be adjusted. I tinkered with the developer settings lowering some of the protocol versions and the issue was solved.
