Little Note 20 Ultra Coverage - Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra Questions & Answers

Hello, I have the Note 20 Ultra N986B / DS model
I wanted to know if that model is the one sold in my country, Spain.
If it is compatible with all the 2g / 3g / 4g / 5g networks used in Spain because I have little network coverage.
Thanks

It's a global international model so should work. You'd still need to check the phone bands against your carrier though. Never heard of them.

LTE Band 40 support on Galaxy S8+ US Unlocked version

I have purchased the S8+ US unlocked variant (SM-G955U1) from best buy and as per the Specs page in best buy, the phone supports LTE band 40. The same is listed even on B&H as well. But the Samsung website doesn't include Band 40 in their specs for Unlocked Variant where as Band 40 is included for all the carrier versions. Since Band 40 is one of the major bands in India and this phone is intended to be used in India, can some one let me know how to check the supported bands on this phone? I tried *#2263# but I get a message that RAT selection option is restricted.

Are the European 5G bands same as USA AT&T 5 G bands?

I bought international Note 20 ultra with Exynos chip. I am using it here in USA on AT& T network, but it seems like the 5G bands are not compatible with European 5G's networks because I am getting horrible speeds. Even on 4G. I went to AT&T store to see if they can do something, and they upgraded my plan to 5G plan, changed the sim card but that did nothing. Anybody knows if the bands are same for international models and US models? I am ready to sell the device in Europe and buy unlocked US version. What speed are you guys getting? I am lucky to pull 30mbps, in some areas not even that. I live in greater Los Angeles area, so there should be good coverage, right?
I do not believe they are the same

I'm curious to know why you imported / purchased the N20 Ultra with Exynos when we in the Uk and other regions are clamouring for the Snapdragon version ?
I was tempted to import a N20 Ultra from Hong Kong but was advised against it due to possible issues with signal and connectivity.
5G bands are totally different. You won't get 5G on ATT

I have spend more than 6 months in Europe last year, so I was thinking it's no big deal to buy in Europe. I also root my phones regularly, which lately is not that necessary, I have to admit.

Looking for Dual sim version don’t care about speed much or 5G

Hi,
I'm not sure which model to go for to be honest. I'm aware the Hong Kong snapdragon sm-n9860 is better than the sm-n986b or sm-n985F. I'm not a gamer but battery life matters to me. I also need a model with most USA bands for TMobile and to have Volte working. I'm aware band 71 and 66 is not available on the HK version nor is UMTS 3G band 4 - is the latter important ? In the past I'd normally cross reference LTE bands for imported devices. So long as they had LTE bands 2,4 and 12 and maybe 66 they worked for me just fine in central Florida.
So which if any would be advised?

Is the phone a USA version?
If its indeed the USA version, You will have similar service on both ATT and TMobile but you will be missing band 14 on ATT which might effect your service. Also, you are unlikely to have much 5G coverage if that matters to you as this phone only has 3 of 5 ATT 5G bands and 2 of 4 TMobile 5G bands. The missing 5G bands are of the mmWave veriety so the only 5G you can get is 5G Nationwide which might actually be slower than 4G/LTE depending on the area.

Question S22 Ultra SM-S908U1 - it's the best choice?

Hello
I have a question. S22 Ultra SM-S908U1 - it's the best choice?
I am looking for a phone that I can use in the USA and in the EU (mainly in Poland).
In USA I use T-mobile USA and I'm looking model which one have dual sim or sim+esim.
In Poland I use usually Play P4 (need bands N1-2100 for 5G and B1, B3, B7 and B20 for 4G)
and sometimes T-mobile Poland (needs bands n1-2100, n78- 3500 for 5G and B1, B3, B7 and B20 for 4G)
Will the S22 Ultra SM-S908U1 be the best choice for me?
all S22 Ultra SM-S908U1 unlocked version from ebay have available 1 physical card sim + 1 esim?
other available variants S22 ultra:
SM-S9080/DS, SM-908E/DS, SM-S908B/DS
these above models are probably less compatible than SM-S908U1?
Thank you
I have looked at these options, I have always went for the dual SIM (SM-S908B/DS) for example. I have no problems with 4G anywhere I go, but 5G is limted as all the bands are not available out of the box. US model seem you can unlock these bands, however I have yet to find a way for SM-S908B/DS.
Not really sure why I need 5G to begin with, as I use less than 200Mbps a day and 4G it pretty robust in the countries I have traveled to in Asia and EU.
I checked this model on this site.
But I am not sure about the trust of the site....

The 5G compatibility option is important to me, because I want to buy a smartphone for more than 1 year
