Hi guys,
this morning I checked my emails but had to unlock it with my password. I restarted my phone and then the settings for the fingerprint sensor were gone. Does anyone have suggestions what to do now cause I didn't know what to do,I called Huawei and my provider but none of them knew it.

I restarted the phone a few times, made a recovery and tried everything.. but there is no setting anymore..
it happened to me, after turning off at night , in the morning when I turned on the phone the fingerprint scanner was not working and it was missing the " ID fingerprint" in the options menu.
I had to do a hard reset :crying:
i have the same problem , any solution yet ? i restarted as well.. :crying::crying:

Make a backup of your data and do an hard reset, as I did

i tried every thing even hard reset but nothing worked please heeelp :crying:

It seems this is a software bug of Huawei reader implementation. I'm suffering from the same problem. However, when I go back to fingerprint ID settings and I try to setup existing fingerprint again, Mate 7 realizes the fingerprint is already registered. Then the reader works for a while again. Same symptom when I delete all fingerprint IDs and set them up again.

=> huawei support checked my phone for another reason and plugged in the flex cable for fingerprint in the wrong direction!
the effect is that there is no menu fingerprint on B130 / B151 !!
I put it in the right direction and everything is fine again !

i flashed many ROMs and did hard reset a couple of times nothing changed
I solved by opening Phone! Fingerprint was Not connected. ( It was put in The wrong direction after sending it to Huawei Support for an other Problem with microphone). Huawei made The mistake.

Recently I have clean flashed 8.1 on my Pixel rooted with Majisk ,when I'm trying to setup screen lock , settings itself is getting closed.I desperately need fingerprint locking on my phone.

hey guys i am redmi note 4 user and currently i am using cardinol oreo 8.0 oreo rom i am facing some big issue that if i reboot my device it ask some pattern to turn on my android device even after putting right pattern it says wrong pattern and device doesnt booting up to my device plss help me what is the solution

You must have enabled "Ask for pattern/password when booting up phone." when you set up your lock screen pattern.
Are you SURE you entered the correct pattern?
Sir, Vivo Y91i (used) purchased with broken screen. Touch replaced and now found pattern lock which is unknown. Used VIVO FRP tool to remove pattern lock. Pattern lock removed but touch not working. Now tried for factory reset but not possible it again showing pattern in the wipe data part.
here issues are -not able to enable usb debug (touch not working), not able to hard rest (pattern lock).
any solution for rooting?

I have HONOR 10 , I Changed My Pin Recently , i generally use Fingerprint but yesterday the battery got low and phone got shut down , Now Due to Restart it is asking me pin and i cant remember it , now i cant unlock my phone please help me it's urgent , I Can't lose data as i have important files in it , My USB debugging is also off , i can't access find my device as it cant connect because due to restart lock screen i cant access anything in my phone , AND WITHOUT DATA LOSS , I NEED IT UNLOCKED TODAY , customer care didnt help
