No os installed - General Questions and Answers

So I tried downloading a rom called pixel experience for my realme 5 pro I installed it, but it says no os installed, then I tried installing another rom, but when installing it it said file corrupted. Help I'm a noob

To get rid off of all mods applied so far re-flash Stock ROM. Should be not so difficult for a noob like you, IMO.
If not successful then take it to authorized service center and let them fix it.

oppo f1 won't boot

Hi!
My cellphone is Oppo F1f. I downloaded the marshmallow os for oppo last week from the project spectrum and installed it. It was a success except that when I tried to reboot my phone, it always says that the applications are optimizing. This optimizing process continued many time and did not stop so I downloaded the ColorOS. My internet went wrong as I was downloading it and the download did not complete so maybe the file is corrupted but I still installed it in my phone hoping that it will go back to coloros. But unfortunately, my phone got stock in the "updating installation". I can't go to the stock recovery as well. Do you have any suggestions or recommendations on how to solve this problem? Thank you very much.

BLU PURE XL - STOCK ROM or Assistance with Download Error

I own a BLU Pure XL, installed the custom CM12 rom to try out and I forgot to backup. I noticed someone uploaded the Stock Rom for 5.1 but for some reason It won't let me download anything from the play store showing it as paused all the time. I have cleared data for all the download apps, play store, and play store services within the apps section and installed a GAPP zip get the same result. The same error occurs with the OTA update saying cannot connect even with access to the internet and the ability to search the app store.
So if anyone has a stock 6.01 version and could upload it I would greatly appropriate it
I have the same problem. Unable to download anything from the play store. Still searching for a solution. Please let me know if you resolve this issue and I will do the same
I'm going through it ,too, thought about flashing Gionee ROM
Bought New Phone
I am not to much of a fan of the phone anyways so bought a BB Priv. If anyone finds a solution please post so I can have a backup phone
OK, I had to utilize the Gionee scatter file and stock ROM in order to get the phone partitioned correctly,
I then took the BLU Scatter file and Stock ROM , boot, and recovery and flashed it afterward. Then did a factory reset. Took updates then rooted, again. You are left with the Gionee splash screen... But that's an easy fix.
Appears that the versions of TWRP posted DO NOT partition the phone correctly and writes a TWRP partition that screws everything up.
I will post links or you can find them yourself in the meantime. They are all on xda mainly on the thread about rooting... Odd thing is. Phone seems to run better than before... I would have left the Gionee ROM up and running if it wasn't 4G only... I'll post links later.
Its been well documented to use the TWRP 2.8 not the 3,0 as it has issues partitioning. there is a whole thread about unbricking where we went into EXTENSIVE depth on this

[Completed] Need to Flash ROM to Xiaomi Mi5. Every time I get freezing issues

Hello. This looks like the place I can get the best help.
Got a Xiaomi Mi5 last week - cheap and very cheerful. Having read online about possible fake roms and bloatware I thought the safest option would be to load the official stable rom to be safe.
Attempt 1
Following the MIUI guidance I downloaded the ROM, copied it to my phone in Windows explorer and then used the MIUI updater tool within the phone to load the new ROM.
http://en.miui.com/a-232.html
Everything went swimmingly for a couple of hours, but then the phone began crashing.
Attempt 2
By this stage I realised the above method was no longer available to me. So I got unlocking privalidges, unlocked my phone. Then, using MiFlash I flashed the latest ROM to the phone. Now the crashing problems happen within about a minute. It actually froze the screen first time round so I did it again.
Added fun issue - left my phone on overnight to charge. And it had stopped charging at 58%.
Attempt 3
Downloaded the EU MIUI Rom. Accessed TWRP in my phone and tried to use it to wipe and install. Not sure the wipes were fully effective - got a lot of red writing. And when I went to install the new ROM the internal storage was 0MB.
Had a look at guidance, and I forget what I did, but was finally able to see the zip file on my phone through TWRP. I got the "7" error. Have read how to fix this but seems too risky considering whats gone before.
Desired solution
I would just like any ROM on my phone which works. Don't really care which, I have followed each guide religiously. It may well just be a faulty phone but I don't want to send it back to China without ruling out the problem being me screwing with the software. Especially as I assume i've technically voided warranty... (I can reload Global Developer and relock it though so have hidden it pretty well. Only difference I can tell is that I now get a menu in recovery mode when before I got instruction to go to PCsuite).
Also - I seem to remember there originally being a downloaded_rom file in the internal memory which is no longer there. If im sending it back do I need to recreate one to hide my activity?
Appreciate any advice.

Greetings and welcome to assist. Xiaomi phones are encrypted by default so you need to wipe your phone in fastboot to access your storage again and you also need to flash latest su zip to disable dm verity. That should clear you internal memory issues and allow you to flash a zip through twrp
Good Luck

Question Is there a way to install custom ROM on Redmi Note 9Pro Joyeuse?

I am really struggling... I accidentally installed TWRP recovery suited for 9S Curtana, it kinda works, even managed to root my phone, the problem is it is failing to mount some essential partitions like System, etc... I cannot install any other TWRP recovery via adb , the one I mentioned I installed via some kind of installer...
Moreover I kinda doubt now that even if I succeed I'll manage to find a proper ROM zip file... oh what a head ache...
I know all of this sounds like a bloody mess and it is...
I probably should start everything over again...
I managed to restore stock ROM but I can not even boot into recovery anymore I should probably flash something once again.....
By the way how do I know that mine is Joyeuse? I know I bought it in Europe... is that a clear indication?
Sorry for the mess, I have exhausted my mental resources today...
i can only answer your last question, joyeuse has 64 mp camera while curtana has 48 mp camera, you can see it on the back of your phone, below the camera
Yes there is a costum rom for redmi note 9 pro (joyeuse) Xiaomi.eu rom.
Installation:
Install it from windows cmd given extracted folder of rom.

question about ROM - Samsung S9 SM-G960F (PHN)

hi everyone, I am new to this forum.
i've been interested in rooting / mods for my old Samsung s9 to give it a new life.
I did so by rooting it using the TWRP app in combination with the Magisk V23.0
now what happened was that i was downloading some random apps yesterday and for some reason the phone went on bootloop...
i accidentally deleted the system without making a backup lol... a little stupid of me...
now it keeps telling me that i've no OS on my phone. i was thinking that i could easily find the ''un-edited'' or simple version of my original OS. but i've looked through many sites without succes.. either looks 2 good to be true or just fake...
is there anyone who can advise me on what to do? i just want my phone to work with any OS right now... but which one is the cleanest or best to use? i do prefer a newer os like 10
thanks in advance!
If you still have access to recovery mode, your best choice would probably be installing LineageOS. It's the most lightweight ROM and many ROMs are based on Lineage. From what i can see, your phone is no longer officially supported.
I found this one based on Lineage 18.1 (Android 11). Before installing, take a look at the bugs, working, and installing sections.
And don't forget to install the Google Apps after installing the system and before rebooting.
that looks crispy. i appreciate your quick & good advise. can you tell me wether i can still run Magisk on it?
Yes, you can still flash Magisk or any type of root with both the OS and the GApps.
what i'm consider about is, wether a region code CRC matters?
