Google Autofill stopped working - Huawei P40 Pro Questions & Answers

Google autofill stopped working since few days before it was working fine on Huawei P40 pro with GMS.. any solution.

It's the last Google Play Services update that blocks the autofill.
Even if you revert back to an older one, it'll update eventually and will block it again.
Best way to avoid is to revert and freeze with Icebox, but then you will lose sync with apps like Maps etc..

1. Settings in Store:
a. Auto-update apps: Don”t auto-update apps.
b. Data-usage: Background data= Not allowed
c. Write system settings: No
2. Restart the phone after those settings
3. Use one of this Google play services file:
800.32 MB folder on MEGA
13 files
mega.nz
That solved update of Google play services file (99.99%). 0.01% can be auto-updated due to what settings are on your phone etc. On my phone, with what i use, I have no problem.

I think is not uninstalled for real. It is hidden some how. Better install this app, connect to your phone and search for it on disabled apps tab. If the app is there, enable it.

How to fix google play services issue in custom modded roms..

Lots of custom roms are there out now and i myself have a custom rom..google play services was launched by google to better communicate updates and notifications of google apps with the users..so if u experienced an error saying 'Google services must be installed' when u recently opened your google + or tried to sign in your youtube account.., you are in the right place..

once u click on the option'GET GOOGLE SERVICES', you will be redirected to the playstore and 'gps'(google play services) will be downloaded.
after downloading when u try to install gps it shows an error saying.."Incompatible with other applications using the same user ID'..now your are left stranded ..no gps and no google + or any other apps for that matter..
YOU CAN CHECK YOURSELF IF YOU GOT GPS BY CHECKING WHETHER YOU HAVE THE GREEN G ICON SAYING GOOGLE SETTINGS THERE ON YOU APP DRAWER..IF U DONT HAVE THAT YOU DONT HAVE GPS..
HERE IS THE SOLUTION TO THE PROBLEM..
you are unable to install gps becuase your developer made a modded google apps package for u that cannot be given a gps id by google..so u have to get the stock google apps..
When you deodex a ROM on Kitchen, it removes ALL the .odex files! And deodexing is just basically for theming. Now, I haven't seen any ROM that has themed GApps. So basically, if you want to get your Google Services working, you have to install stock GApps. So, here we go!
first of all do a complete apps+data backup in titanium backup..because all your apps are gonna be missing after the wipe data..
1=> Download the latest GApps from Googles servers. download gapps for ics if u got ics or gapps for Jb if u got jb..
2=> It's a CWM (or stock recovery) flashable package, so don't waste your time unzipping it. Go into Settings > Applications > Manage applications and uninstall the copy of the current Google Play Services that you have installed (if you have any).
3=> Reboot into recovery, and flash CWM recovery (if your kernel has integrated CWM, you don't need to bother).
4=> Select "Install zip from sdcard", and browse to the downloaded GApps zip and flash it.
5=> Make sure to clear your your data in advanced>format data, cache and wipe the Dalvik cache. Reboot.
6=> Open up "Market", accept the EULA and put your phone down.
7=> After 10 minutes or so, go into Application Manager and check if your Market has changed into Play Store.
8=> Go into Play Store and update all your GApps to the latest version. Once done, head over to the YouTube app or google + appp and fire it up.
9=> try signing into youtube also it should work
10=> Now u will be able to see the green google settings icon which shows u got GPS..

[Q] Google Play Store not auto-updating apps

I've tried a full factory resets and changed all the app settings, clearing data and cache but i cant get apps pushed to me automatically. I'm stock on 4.4.2. Anyone else experiencing this? I also tried to wipe cache in Recovery Mode but still no love.
I have the same issue after update to 4.4.2...... I did a factory reset and the apps doesn't update automatically
Did you both cleaned the Google Services Framework prior to the update to KitKat 4.4.2.?
i cleared google services framework now and then did a factory reset to 4.4.2. i originally sideloaded 4.4.1 then did the same small update to 4.4.2 through adb rather than wait for the update to be pushed so i'm wondering if that was the problem. i will get an app pushed to me if i uninstall updates to the google play store app but then it stops for some reason once it goes back to 4.5.10.
Sorry, for being not clear, but cleaning the Google Services Framework shouldn't be done.
It was more a question whether you did this before.
Anything else you did before that?
Mine only update after the phone reboots or I do it manually.

It's been like this for me too the past week or so. Came off a couple clean ROM flashes so I shouldn't have any corrupted data preventing the service from working correctly.

Oh no when I did the original sideload of 4.4.1 I didn't do anything/make any changes etc. prior to updating. I later updated the same way to 4.4.2. I never really noticed the auto updates stopped. I can get them to auto download if I uninstall updates to the Google play store app but they seem to stop again when 4.5.10 is again updated.
Wanted to double check but do you have auto-update apps checked? Do you have it auto-update on wi-fi only checked?
I've the same problem. I'm on stock ROM rooted. With multirom I flashed omnirom and carbon. Normally all of my apps and WiFi networks/ passwords are restored automatically (with my old HTC desire HD always worked). But now with Nexus 5 and android 4.4.2, nothing happened

do you have it enabled in the phone main settings, backup and reset and in the play store settings?

Remove apps from Playstore update list?

Got a rooted op7p & various versions of my favourite apps installed that I don't want to update. Because there not the latest versions they stay stuck in my update list in the play store!
Is there a magisk module or app I can run to remove them from the list so I'm not constantly told to update or accidentally update it?
Think I might have solved it!
Went into Titanium backup pro, found the app, scrolled across to 'special features', then 'detach from the market'! There no longer in the update list now anyway ?
Detach is one that is for this
Titanium Backup like you found is another option
However, in my experience, both apps don't keep apps removed. After some time, they will show up again
Yeah your right, already popped back up!
Any idea how to permanently get rid of them?
You can turn off updates from the google play store itself, and it never notifies you.
Go into google play > Settings > Auto-update apps | Set to Don't auto-update apps. If I want to update something, I go in manually and choose what I want to update.
As for Magisk modules, also under settings, turn off Check Updates.
Titanium Backup was my first play store purchase for those features as well
Hi there, I have found a work around for this.
Go to (https://github.com/yuk7/playstore-excl-upd)

then follow the instructions on the page.
Make sure you create a txt file named as peulist.txt under root directory /data/cache/peulist.txt... once done reboot after flashing the file and include the apps with there package name that you want to exclude from the update list.

Um... any idea how you can UNDO this, so all available updates will show up again? I've tried disabling the module and rebooted, but the changes seem to stay...
Does anyone know what exactly this module does/changes? It does not seem to be really well documented...

Install google service on Huawei Mate30 Pro

Preparation before installation: Huawei Mate30 mobile phone
PC computer
Data line
And Google Apps
The assistant is used to activate the device manager, as long as it is activated, don't worry about the exclamation mark.
1. Download and unzip the lzplay package (this contains the most important application data to be restored, please do not confuse with the newly downloaded lzplay package)
2, connect Hisuite (pc Huawei mobile phone assistant) click data recovery
3, find lzplay decompression package, only restore applications and data (only restore assistant application and application data, application data is the most important! application data is the most important! application data is the most important!) does not restore system settings!
4, restart the phone after data recovery
5, then download the corresponding version of the Google package and install (corresponding to the Google package and lzplay link below) Note: Install these Google packages based on all permissions
6. After the installation is complete, open the Google Service Assistant and activate the device manager.
7, restart the phone after activation is complete
8, open the settings drop-down to see if there is a google icon, if there is, then the installation is successful, if not, repeat the installation steps
After the activation is completed, you can update the Google service and play to solve the connection problem by aptoide.
It is very important to activate this step! It is very important to activate this step! It is very important to activate this step! It is very important to activate this step!
9. Enjoy it.

I am using it.
I can Confirm this.
I just did it on a Mate 30 pro from China just now with the help of this guide below:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K8LLMx_Qy0Q&feature=youtu.be
It doesn't matter if you get an Exclamation (!) when you open the GMS app., Just proceed with the installation of the Google Apps in the package.
Some Notes:
1. After installation, reboot the device (the CHECKING INFO screen will just loop and nothing will happen if you don't reboot)
2. Go to Settings>accounts and add the Google account
3. Open Gmail and Appstore as usual and your account will be there.
4G and GSM signals are working fine.
I have downloaded and install apps from the Playstore and everything is working fine without any hiccups.
Cons;
Sometimes the Appstore will close but re-opening it again will take you where it close. (maybe its a different case for others)
Notes on the instruction video:
Instead of using an SDcard I have used an OTG USB cable and saved the backup there. (because I dont have an SD card when I do the procedure)

Make a copy via ApkExport
Scan with online Virustotal. Decide.
If you uninstall it and that doesn't work, factory reset.

It looks like a rooting app.
I'm not familiar with that device manufacturer or app. However it looks like a high risk apk to me especially if you're not rooted and can't recall downloading it. It's probably capable of causing a lot of damage.
If running on Android 9 or higher, a factory reset should purge any root kits if present. If you do a factory reset, set a new Google account password (make sure you write it down correctly) after the factory reset. Change any other critical passwords.

Do a scan with Malwarebytes afterwards.
Keep an eye on your download folder and make sure install unknown sources is always disabled unless you need to use it to sideload.
Be careful what you install...
