Question Massive frame rate reduction - Xiaomi Poco X3 Pro

Hi Guys, I've always preferred custom ROMs over the skinned and usually bloated flavours of Android and have used many custom ROMs over the years, the vast majority of which have yielded good results. This is my first delve into the world of budget handsets. My OP6T was getting a bit long in the tooth so when I saw the specs of the X3 pro I decided to jump in feet first. My first impressions of MIUI left a lot to be desired so as usual I've went the custom ROM route which is where I've noticed the problem. I've flashed most of the AOSP ROMs available but they all seem to make my games stutter with a big drop in frame rate after like 10 minutes of play. This doesn't happen when I run with MIUI... anyone got any ideas how to fix the issue in the AOSP ROMs? Thanks in advance.

[Q] Some clarifications required regd Mi4

I'm planning to buy 64GB Xiaomi Mi4 64GB version at INR 22000. I know Xiaomi has poor after sales services, but i have some doubts regarding its heating, which many people point out.
How hot does it go?? I'm currently a Nexus 4 user. My N4 also heats up quite a bit while using 3G, charging + 3G browsing, gaming + 3G....
Check this screenshot to get an idea. It was taken just after playing Clash of clans for 10-15min in 3G

Currently my phone's battery is at 41.3 C, with thermal readings between 56-63C........... I'm browsing internet in 3G with phone charging via USB
Can someone please post the temp of Xiaomi Mi4 under load?? CPUz shot would be better
Any other things you wanna point out about Mi4 would be appreciated, thanks :good:
This was after about 10min of browsing and watching YouTube on 4G. No games installed but it hasn't ever got really hot. Hope this helps!
Edit: got up to 38.7° after 15min of playing Ball King.
I guess heating won't be a issue for N4 users shifting to Mi4

GPS Altitude fluctuating by 100s of meters

Hi,
I use different apps for sports tracking, mostly for paragliding and each of them records highly fluctuating altitudes. Here is an example:

}
Practically, this was a very constant descent, so it should be more or less a straight line. My girlfriend uses the same apps but on a Pixel 4a and gets smooth altitudes. Factory resetting the phone also didn't help... So I really think, this a general problem with my particular phone or Pixel 3as in general. Does anybody else have such problems? Or even a solution?
The graph you posted only shows the end result and the reason for the fluctuations could be many things.
I would think the app or graphing software you are using would ignore readings that are over a certain threshold, so check the settings. Or you can just upgrade to a 4a.
Thank you! As it affects all apps I really think that it must be a faulty output of the GPS. As those tracks are always recorded in an unobstructed environment (the air ;-) ) I can exclude almost all errors discussed in your linked article. They would maybe explain 10s of meters of fluctuation but not ~500m. Those are also not singular readings but a couple of readings in a row, so not really outliers. I just wanted to check if there are others with the same problem or if my phone is defect.

Question Arm64 processor (GTA SA)

This might not be the right forum to post, but I tried several other places and got no solution. Since there are lot of people who understands the phone structure here, I want to give a try.
So, like probably lots of users here, I'm a gta (grand theft auto) fan. I always had gta San Andreas installed in my phone (bought official one in Google Play). Since Rockstar Games just don't care for their android game anymore (it doesn't run in android 10+) devs and modders find a way to make it run. So, I'm running fastman92 6.5 veraion with AML and CLEO. However I'm getting trouble using skins in this game.
I had this same trouble in my Android 11 S21+ (exynos) and solved by flashing Android 12. Now, my S22U (snapdragon) with Android 12 got the same problem and I don't know how to fix it. The issue is that my game doesn't seem to recognize the player.img file that I paste inside Android/data/com.rockstargames.gtasa/ files/texdb and cj loads like the picture below:

So, could this be caused by the arm64 processor of S22 line? Does this make my device some trouble loading textures?

Considering the number of sold units, it's nothing. Also, most of the bricks are from users tinkering with their roms without any knowledge of the matter on hand.
I would prefer they take up rock collecting instead of flashing highly complex pieces of consumer electronics.

If you have a way to make use of the guarantee, make use of it, otherwise you would have to find a microsoldering workshop to do a "rework" to the SoC (RAM memory + CPU + ROM memory)
My phone also happen to be like this. But it is not dead.If this happen,it just will restart my phone

If you have root (Magisk, Zygisk and LSPosed), you can download LuckyTool, it's a feature unlock app for ColorOS/OxygenOS devices, i tested and used it on my GT Neo 3 80W, download and install it and in the Battery Section, there is a option to disable Thermal Throttling for HDR, Games, and the Frame Plus, i play Genshin Impact and before the 90Fps interpolation option kept on for only 10 minutes after the device reached 40°, but after turning on this option and rebooting my phone, i can play for like 1 hour continuosly with the 90 Fps option turned on.
