Install goes well according to this ^
But when I hit reboot, and then hold down power+bixby+vol-up to get back into root mode, it always gives this error when starting magisk app
So the update fails every time.
Since Magisk Manager v23 wont even show the current magisk version- upon downgrading to MM 8.0.7, we see that it never upgraded magisk past 19.4 (19302)
Also the "additonal setup" never completes when we try that from 8.0.7, fyi, and the Update button is greyed out too.
What is the next step to getting magisk 20.4+ working with a recent version of the app?
Thanks!

So I just opened up my Opo, went through the process of rooting and unlocking.
Unlock went fine and I have the latest twrp up and running. Flashed supersu in recovery and I still do not have root access.
Did I miss something?

Did you get supersu from http://download.chainfire.eu/supersu - - flash that and then open up supersu does it ask for the binary to be updated? If so, let supersu do its thing and then reboot.

Install the app from play store.
Uncheck Respect CM Root settings in SU settings and the root will stick . This should be mentioned in the guides it is a common mistake,
Be careful with latest twrp 2.8.0.1 as well please read up in offical and unoffical twrp thread for some serious potential issues. Especially prior to restoring
Hi Everyone,
Just installed Xposed on my Nexus 5 with stock 5.1.1 and im having some odd issues
Based on the flow chart posted here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/xposed/official-xposed-lollipop-t3030118
I went with the Arm7 5.1.x version of Xposed, found here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/xposed/super-alpha-posted-permission-xposed-t3072979
I grabbed the actaul xposed app from here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=3034811
I installed the xposed-v71-sdk22-arm-by-romracer-20150816.zip file first, then i installed the XposedInstaller_3.0_alpha4.apk installer

I now see that after i reboot to install a module, i get the "Android is Upgrading" screen where its installing all 130 apps again
If i reboot without installing a module and just do a simple reboot, i get "Android is Upgrading" 1 of 1 all the time
I did some searching and found other people with the issue, but no real solution
Is this just how it operates?
Does it always go through the Android is upgrading screen after a reboot? And when i actually install a module, does it always go through the 130 app reload? That takes like 25 minutes!
Theres also this fun part:
Thoughts?
Hello,
I got Samsung Galaxy Grand 2 (SM-G7102), as it's offical firmware is 4.4 kitkat, I wanted to install Custom Rom. I found a ROM named AOKP with Android version 7.1.2 while don't have any errors. I also flashed Magisk along with ROM because I want root but the problem is SafetyNet Check is faled. I tried to search a lot for it's solution but still not working. Below are the screenshots of Magisk and Modules I installed.

I installed Busybox for Android NDK, MagiskHide Props Config but still it isn't being success. I also enabled Magisk Core Mode but no progress.
You can also suggest me Custom ROM above Kitkat for Grand 2 (SM-G7102) with Magisk Working with SafetyNet Success.
Thanks.
Hello everybody,
After clearing all caches, i was trying to flash the same rom again (last version from oxygen updater), because of the widevine bug that downgraded my phone from L1 to L3, and prevents me from watching any hd content.
Problem is: The flash process (local upgrade) is stuck at 99% since yesterday
I am wondering that if i reboot the phone, it will try to boot from that slot where this upgrade seems to fail. And so to be stuck.
Any advice very welcome, thanks.

Ok i will reply to myself. As I had no answer I rebooted and system seemed ok despite the 99%, but of course I had lost root, as i couldn't flash magisk.
So I manually switched to the other slot to get my system back. That's it.
Hi there,
I have an ongoing update issue.
I am unable to update my phone naturally and am stuck on an old ROM. There is no 3 dot menu either in the top right corner.
I downloaded manually a zip file of the .7 firmware but the phone does not recognise it.
I would like to resume normal updates instead of rooting.
Both update tonight and reboot now do nothing. It reboots but no update (see second pic). I have the 11 pro + 5g global version (density920)
Any help would be much appreciated.
