Question Notification led too tiny - Xiaomi Poco X3 Pro

Any way to increase that tiny led light? It almost got no benefit. Or any apps to add a notification light on screen such as around the camera cutout ?
Thanks

Find the option for turn on the screen when notification came.
Your request will work better if the screen is OLED with AOD.
LCD screen use more power when the screen is turned on. It's not possible to partially turned on. (At least haven't seen that ability on LCD screen)

[Q]backlight dimming adjustments

does anyone know if its possible to adjust the back light dimmer lower than stock. I have tried the various programs that shade the LCD to make it seem dimmer, but they don't work the way I like. I want to use my xoom as a night clock, but unfortunately I can't get it dim enough. My Sony alarm clock has an LCD display that dims the back light in night mode to where you can barley see it. But in a dark room its perfect. All the other programs available just shade the LCD, but you can see the back light seep through and it keeps me awake. If anyone has a solution that can work on my xoom I would be grateful.
Thanks

Is it possible your obscuring the light with your hand or fingers causing the phone to constantly adjust to what it thinks is changing light conditions?

its possible, if the sensor is on the bottom bezel. never had this issue w/ my n4,5,5x, or p1 though.
My problem is more that the brightness doesn't adjust itself enough. If I'm on auto-brightness and in a pitch black room, my phone blinds me because it doesn't adjust.
What is everyone else using for display settings? I've enabled 'Adaptive brightness' but it's doesn't adjust very well. I prefer not to have to go to something 3rd party like Lux.
Mine micro adjusts in a dark room it's not terrible but it's enough to be annoying while reading because it grabs your attention. More noticeable on white backgrounds.

Ambient Display Tweak Possible?

I like the way the side lights up for notifications that happens when ambient display is turned on however I dont like the text display that occurs on the screen, just looks a little ugly. Is there a way to only have the side light up for notifications?

Notification light without Ambient Display On possible?

Hi everyone,
I've recently bought a Oneplus 7 Pro and to my shame I did not read beforehand that it does not have a notification LED.
I've also seen that the pulsating lines on the sides of the screen only appear when Ambient Display is on.
Sadly I am not a fan of Ambient Display and also do not want my phone lighting up each time I get a notification, I prefer it to remain more subtle
Does anyone know if there is any App that would trigger those lines for notifications but without requiring Ambient Display? (maybe running without it as an accessibility service and thus having permissions also on the lockscreen?)
Thank you!

Bringing back indicator lights

Back when phones still had LED indicator lights, they would blink when you have a text or a notification or just different colors for different reasons and I miss that because I didn't have to pick up my phone.
So here's my question. Given that a lot of phones these days use amoled screens, that means these phones have the ability to only turn on certain pixels while leaving the others off.
Would you be able to create an app that would make a circle of pixels blink when you get a message and also customize the colors of the pixels depending on the notification?
Also it'd be cool if someone would do that because I know nothing about making an App.

There are already some apps available for some devices doing this.
E.g. Holey Light from chainfire:
[APP][2021.03.02] Holey Light - Samsung/Pixel Notification LED Emulator [v1.00]
100% Free - 100% GPLv3 Open Sauce - No ads - No tracking - No nags - Optional donation Holey Light is a LED emulation app. It animates the edges of the camera cut-out (AKA punch-hole) as replacement for the sadly missing LED on many modern...
