Hello guys,
One person gave me 2 of these tablet and i repaired them simply with using Odin *lol*.
I flashed on both Linageos 17.1 and works.
One Is smooth and the other Is laggy the most of the time.
I changed battery on both (they switched off 5-6 Years ago) but not resolved the issue.
I tried to use Fstrim but Is the same.
What do you think about It?
Is It possibile for you do anything to light the fire in It? *lol*
Thanks a lot

Hi Everyone,
I bought an S3 at the end of May, rooted and flashed cm 10.1 about a week later (and flashed firmware required to get the camera working a few days after that).
Earlier this week, the display suddenly shifted green and started to die - no amount of resetting, wiping, or unrooting and flashing stock would fix it (the screen ultimately came back on, but with a permanent blue-green tint and low resolution). Although I've basically chalked it up to a hardware failure (maybe gpu?), I got a replacement and am a little hesitant to flash CM again for fear that this might be a common issue.
Has anyone here experienced something similar? Is there any way that flashing and running a custom rom for a month could put undue stress on the motherboard, gpu, or other hardware? Would a custom kernel address the issue?
Just basically looking for thoughts from people who are way more experienced with this stuff than I am. Sorry if this has been posted before; I browsed the forums briefly and the display issues I saw didn't quite seem to match what I experienced.

A co-worker of mine had an S3 T999 on tmobile that did this same exact thing on the stock unrooted rom. I'd say its unrelated to CM, and glad you got a replacement. It should not do it again, so CM is safe to run on it.
Not a Rom issue. Sounds like just bad luck of the draw. I am on my 3rd or 4th s3 and i haven't had a Rom kill my phone yet.

I've noticed a lot of people complaining about screen lag recently, where everythings just dull and slow (not so much touch issues)- and unfortunately im one off them people!
My phone is the newer branch (november) and im starting to have a slow screen ever since oxygen! i've gone stock 11s n its seem to followed me!
but i really think its heat related, it will be fine for the most part, once it starts getting warm (recently its been getting hotter then normal) the screen goes dull.
THIS IS NOT GHOST TOUCH.
my screen doesnt press random things, the phone is just dull to type on and stuff but only when its hot/warm, and when i say hot, i mean hot..
but im not doing anything different to what i used to and it used to be okay, but then again........weathers getting hotter....
my nexus 4 was horrible when warm also......
currently on cm12 nightly, 06.04.15
tried stock 11s too but only lasted a few hours
If anybodys noticed this PLEASE say something, also if this issue is because my phone is 'defective', will i be able to send it to oneplus for a repair? wil it be worth it? will it be free? how long will it take (*roughly*)
sorry for all the questions and blabber, it's just i've been wondering A LOT and ive not been getting straight answers.
Ps. NEVER had issues BEFORE oxygen. oxygen was NOT on my phone for longer than a day due to the horrible keyboard issues, but the phone was really hot during oxygen......... thanks anyway, :good:
I have the same problem. It seems to happen when my phone has been warm-hot for 15-20 minutes. No ghost touches, but scrolling is really laggy, and sometimes it doesn't register a tap on a link or app. It seems to go away if I let my phone cool down. I've looked everywhere online, and I've seen a few people mention similar problems, but most of the time it's about the ghost touch thing. I really hope it's not a hardware issue. I can't go without a phone for a month and a half for the RMA. People seem to have a lot of issues with RMAs. I'm surprised there aren't more people having this issue.
Also, I'm not on oxygen. I'm having the issue on Euphoria 5.0.2.
I started having the exact same issue two weeks ago, and I did not even try oxygen os. I also bought the phone in november. I tried opening the phone and cleaning the connector but it didn't help at all... now I'm having the issue all the time, not only when the phone is hot and it feels like I have a $30 phone
I really don't know what to do since I opened the phone,so no RMA possible. I bought a Moto E and I'm gonna have to use it until I fix the issue. I dont even know if it's software or hardware, that's a really strange issue.
Edit : the touch screen just worked fine for 2 minutes, then became laggy again
My Note 10.1 is extremely slow recently. I mean it can work normally for half an hour and then hang for a minute or not allow me to turn the screen on for 30 or more seconds. Is this because of age? Is the flash inside degraded to a point it slows everything down or maybe clear new ROM will fix this? I am asking because I am not exactly sure I will be able to load a new ROM on it (the recovery is a bit broken, but it will probably be possible through Odin). If it is happening to other old, heavily used Note 10.1's I will just leave it as it is, instead of risking of breaking it completely. So, how are your good old Note 10.1's behaving lately?
One replace battery if you think thats at fault .
Two wipe and install stock rom via Odin .
Nand / flash should not degrade in such a short time .
It took me a while, since I use the tablet very rarely and have gotten used to it's slow downs but I have solved the problem - it was caused by the kernel it had. Changing the kernel to a new, stable one solved the issue. The tablet is still a bit slow, but no longer hangs for 30 seconds like it used too. Thanks everyone for help.

I experienced the same problem until recently with my GT-n-8010, when it still was under the official 4.4.2 firmware. I also thought about an age problem, but it was definitely not. I've been trying for the last four days the CM13 BETA developped by senior member Lirokoa - everything is explained in this thread : http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-note-10-1/development/rom-lollipop-t3269375 - and it's just as if I had gotten a brand new device, so it really was a software problem, not a hardware one. I advise you to try it too, you should not regret it
Anyone seeing this behavior? Multiple shutdowns in a day, sometimes more than one per hour. First happened on 11 so I flashed 10. Tried unrooting. But it's still happening. Really disappointed, I really wanted to love this phone.
I am sorry you may have a bad phone but I havent had one reboot or shutdown t all.
No such behavior here and no wide spread reports of spontaneous reboots. Likely a defective unit. Happens.
None here either, 10, or 11, or 11 rooted.

I had a couple random reboots, I only experienced them after I switched to Dirty Unicorns. It randomly switched to to the boot animation a couple times one day but I haven't had this issues today yet or been able to duplicate it.
Are you using an adblocker?
I had been using AdAway but unrooted so it was disabled. The shutdowns continued. Happened with different battery levels but maybe more below the 60% level. I returned it but want to buy again. Just a bit leery now, especially after hearing of similar problems with earlier Pixel models.
Here's a support thread with some others experiencing this.

I got another one and haven't had the same issue.
Anyone else getting ghost touches? It started after 4 months for me. I enabled visible touches and occasionally my device will just start spamming taps everywhere.
I'm going to RMA it, just got to install stock rom first.
Installed stock and RMA'd, they replaced the display and now thr phone is on its way back.
Apparently not re-locking was a good choice, no one cared.
Hey bro, what did u do to fix your problem? Im facing the same issue on Android 11
Replaced the display (I had warranty)
After replacement, it started again. So a screen lasts 6 months, just great...
I've tried the magisk module posted in another thread, but it still happens (not every day, though).
Currently testing out the latest MIUI. Just a day in, nothing so far.
I didn't get this issue in a month of using MIUI 12.5.5, But immediately got it once after flashing ArrowOS 11.
Anyone else facing these ghost touches?
Edit: I installed Xiaomi.eu 12.5.5, let's see if I can reproduce the problem.
Finally reproduced with xiaomi.eu. Seems rare enough to live with though...
a day with xiaomi.eu, so far nothing.
arrowos unfortunately all the time
