Another new ROM release,cheers!
Am using this ROM for the past one week approx.... It's amazing except slight issue with auto brightness... Which is slightly lagging... Rest m enjoy this!!!
Great ROM overall, love the old skool CRT, etc. Battery great!
Updated to 14.4
Magisk Canary.
Random reboots. Stock kernel and on another different kernel, take phone out to check, soon as turn screen on, death. This happened in exactly the same shop. Phone fine at home. ..
Think it background scanning/WiFi/GPS related?
Was a problem on akash aosp ROMs for Xiaomi mi10

This function does not work

Not sure about this bug since i did not face this nor i could replicate after intensely using the device! for now i will consider this as something isolated cause specific for your device maybe Magisks or something not sure. lets see! Meanwhile thank you for your kind words!

Ok, sorry to say another reboot in real world. Just gone out in car, checked phone and it had rebooted.
So the bug is still reminding me of background scanning or assisted GPS unfortunately.
Was on superior OS before and with same apps no reboots.
Will turn off both to see..
rom works fine. but when i patch the boot image with magisk and flash it and reboot, it gets stuck on boot animation and won't boot. if i go back into bootloader and flash original boot image it still gets stuck on boot animation
When you flashed rom did you flash boot image to both slots?

You need to patch the boot located inside the payload.bin file which is the rom. Not the recovery boot otherwise what you mentioned will be the result. I uploaded below. Patch this file with Magisk and you will be good to go.
Hi, i have some questions about this rom.
I have seen in changelog of 14.4 that "Statusbar Clock Position" was added, which is important to me. Has this rom also the ability to show seconds in statusbar clock?
And one thing which i also find very handy to use is "Back button kill foreground app". Does this rom have this mod?
At least, thanks for bringing another nice rom to Pixel "sunfish"!

If it doesn't, all you have to do is go to settings. System, gestures, system navigation and change gesture navigation to 3 button navigation.
Thanks, i always use 3 button navigation.
But that wasn't my question.
I love this ROM but....... esim worked then just stopped working? No data at all? Is there a fix to this issue? Love the ROM but obviously I can't use it without data working.

Maybee u downloaded the wrong one i guess....its fine here check and install correctly and do a clean flash
any guide to install this rom. now im on paranoid android.
thanks in advance
I flashed the latest stock and then clean flashed Arrow-v11.0-jasmine_sprout-COMMUNITY-20201202-GAPPS.zip.
Sadly I encountered a mayor bug, which makes this rom useless for me right now. I can't establish a connection to any bluetooth audio device. I tried my car radio (kenwood) and my JBL Flip 5.
It seems to pair successful, but whenever I try to connect, it disconnects again.
I attached a logfile for this issue.
I deleted all paired bluetooth devices, rebooted the system, paired to the JBL and tried to connect to it. Then I created the logfile with adb.
When this issue is fixed, I will reinstall this rom again for sure. In the meantime I have to use something else.
Three other minor issues I encountered (without log-files):
I was unable to change the background and lock screen image from Settings > Display > Designs and Backgrounds.
I can select the image file I placed in the pictures folder, and the preview looks good, but when I apply the changes, it just reverts back to the default image.
I worked around this by opening the Gallery app, opened the picture and select the option to use it as Background and lock screen from the menu.
Wireless screen sharing is not working. It always crashs when I try to connect to a miracast device.
TWRP is not included in this rom. I failed to install it by myself.
Booting to twrp-3.3.1-0-jasmine_sprout.img from fastboot works good and the installation of
twrp-installer-3.4.0-1-jasmine_sprout.zip
or
twrp-installer-3.3.1-0-jasmine_sprout.zip
runs without errors.
But when I try to boot to the recovery after the installation, it always freezes at the TWRP loading screen.
Edit:
I found the fix for the Bluetooth-bug in the Telegram group: Enabling the option "Disable Bluetooth-A2DP-Hardware-Offload" in the developer settings did the trick. Now I can continue using this rom

I don't know if this is an issue with ArrowOS, GAPPS or the device itself but google assistant stops working after a couple hours - it doesn't answer to "Hey Google" anymore and, in some cases, it completely locks the microphone. Examples is when calling someone with whatsapp the other party can't hear; if recording a message, the message arrives with no sound. Google voice calls can't be heard by the other side.
The issues go away temporarily after a reboot but after a couple minutes/hours the problem shows up again.
Stackoverflow suggested that this command line could help identifying the offender but it doesn't seem to meaningful for Mi A2:
Code:
adb shell dumpsys audio

Looking forward to do a clean install and install it.
Hello @Immanuel Raj !
I want to clean install the ArrowOS ROM A11 which you are maintainer.
Before I had Pixel Experience Plus with Pixel Recovery so I did dirty flashing updates from there..
Now I want the TWRP recovery.
But if I remember well, some TWRPs had problems flashing them on Mi A2 jasmine (bootloops, decrypt problems because of encrypted ROMS... etc.)
Can you please tell me which TWRP I must flash that its stable and working without problems on my Mi A2 jasmine, and the exact steps please of the installation.
Because its a little messy of having A and B partitions.
Thank you very much,

With the official I had bootloop and stuck at the TWRP logo and couldn't flash the ROM. I will try Nebrassy's and see.
@Immanuel Raj
Finally flashed the ROM and your version of TWRP. Great Work !
TWRP recovery works only on B slot. It doesn't work on slot A ( that the ROM is installed ) so every time I go to recovery it shows me the Arrow Recovery.
An other thing is that the Google Seach Bar widget doesn go to the bottom like the image on the arrowos.net shows. Its only at the top.
How can I move it down?
Thank you

No problem. I installed Lawnchair 2 and my problem solved.
Also installed NGCam 8.2.300 v1.4.
The only thing I notice is that when you charging your phone and its charged full the LED doesnt turn off.
And also when you plug the charger when the phone is turned off there is no percentage. Only an icon. And the LED is off.
I would ask if you could do something about these in the next release but...

good job
A couple of things. ROM won't boot unless you wipe data. The clock isn't centered when center is chosen. Choosing "Advanced Restart" changes nothing on my phone.
Have it up and running and rooted. So far no problems whatsoever. Great job.
Edit: after rooting advanced start is working. Not sure if that had anything to do with it but before that I had to use volume keys to get into bootloader.
Eagerly excited to give this a shot. Been wanting a reason to switch things up on my phone, and this sure is one. Will report back once I flash.
EDIT: Flashed on T-Mobile OP8 once converted to global. I attempted to flash from T-Mobile official, but this bombed out and caused it to boot into crashdump. So far, everything is nearly flawless. I will say that display calibration profiles isn't working, but that is pretty minor. Using the standard color correction works fine. I am going to run it through its paces for the rest of the night and tomorrow. If things go well, looks like this will be daily driver material.
Verizon Op8 unlocked. On A10 as I'm waiting to get updated modem from Verizon. I only have build on one slot _a, not both as msm tool has latest ota from Verizon loaded. Is being on A11 base or having oos on both slots a pre-requisite? Please and thank you beforehand.

Might want to read the installer script, your missing a credit
I flashed and it seems pretty good. Some issues to note are, when connected, there's no sound with bluetooth devices, sometimes during heavy use the screen will become unresponsive, and when the pop up comes in apps to use the fingerprint scanner, it shows 2 different overlays. I was unable to get logs and I flashed back to stock, but hopefully this helps

I also came back to post the bluetooth audio bug. Can also confirm that it happens with wired headsets as well, either using the adapter or using USB-C headphones.
I also have no bluetooth audio and display calibration profiles not working.

Guys help me. I flashed the rom so far so good but there's no fod icon change etc on the crdroid settings menu I went on lock screen options and there's only fod vibration verification but no fod icon change does anybody else have this? Can anyone help me with this one?
Just curious if any headway was made on the Bluetooth audio bug. If logs are needed, let me know and I can capture them.

Yeah, that's pretty much a deal-breaker. Looking at this guy's account it seems he's got a few irons in the fire when it comes to crDroid. Given this thread has like five posters seems not much interest from OP8 users. I'd guess that would leave us sucking hind tit. And it's hard to find fault. I'm sure this is really time consuming work and people have lives.
a new build is up, please don't use the internal installer but download it from our website and follow the install script
thanks everyone for the feedback, it's appreciated
Updated. Fixed the bluethooth issue. Haven't checked the other stuff yet.
A question. Updating as you do breaks root. Could a person extract the boot.img from your package, patch it with magisk, rename it boot.img, put it into the installer package, then update and retain root? Or would this cause the update process to fail?

Reporting Bugs
Grab a logcat right after the problem has occurred. (Please include at least a few pages of the log, not just the last few lines, unless you know what you're doing.)
If it is a random reboot, grab /sys/fs/pstore/* (Do not bother getting a logcat unless you can get it just before the reboot. A logcat after a reboot is useless)
If the problem disappears after running "setenforce 0" from a root shell, grab /data/misc/audit/audit.log

Great work @aleasto!
Can't wait to try this Rom, I was waiting for it.
Just a quick question: maybe I'm just a noob, but how can I install the zip without a dedicated recovery? I mean, I'm stuck at point 4 in your instructions.
Thanks a lot!

You can't.
Where exactly are you stuck? To reboot into recovery simply select "Recovery Mode" from the bootloader screen.
The previous steps installed Lineage Recovery.

I have not been able to download the files from Google Drive; "Sorry, you can't download this file a this time. Too many users have viewed or downloaded this file recently"

Edit: works again
got a "failed to read" error when flshing zip
Step 1/2 (47%)
after downloading the zip again the same error appeared but the third time it worked, !
the process in cmd hangs but the ROM is flashed. just wait until it's done.

I decided that given the issues with flashing system addons, until a solution is found by our team i'll also be sharing builds with minimal gapps included. You can already find one in the drive folder.
ROM booted with me and magisk gapps working fine.
now everything is fine, everything you need is in the firmware, many thanks to the author for the work
Hey everyone, I wanna give an update on my experience with this Rom!
First of all: great job @aleasto!
This Lineage is definitely smoother than stock rom. Seriously, my Pixel 5 feels like a true flagship now, finally the 765 is working like a charm.
_
Now, some little features I do really enjoy:
- percentage only in the status bar (no battery icon needed)
- you can hide the navigation bar (the one at the bottom of the screen) but use the phone as if it was visible
- FINALLY no google assistant swipe-up from the bottom of the screen!
There are also some little bugs, nothing serious:
- with google camera, changing from portrait mode to standard mode (and viceversa) usually slows down a little bit. Maybe it's just my gcam version.
- vocal messages: recording vocal audio messages often does not work. The recording is muted, I haven't figure out how am I able to fix it, but sometimes I am able to do it.
_
A quick guide on how to install this ROM (for lineage os newbies like me):
Unlock the bootloader (here you can read how)
Download all the files from the first post and put them in the "platform tools" folder
Put the Pixel 5 in fastboot mode and connect it to the computer
Open a prompt window in the platform tools folder
Digit these commands:
- fastboot flash boot boot.img
- fastboot flash vendor_boot vendor_boot.img
- fastboot flash dtbo dtbo.img
Now you have to reboot into the recovery from the fastboot menu, just use the volume buttons to search the recovery option and select it with the power button.
You will enter the Lineage Recovery, then select "apply update" -> "apply from ADB"
Go back to your cmd window on your computer and write:
"ADB sideload xxxxxxxxx.zip" where the "x part" is the name of the ROM zip file (remember to put .zip at the end of the command)
Just wait until the end of the installation (around 5-8 minutes) and then reboot the phone from Lineage OS recovery.
Enjoy!
Personally I wasn't able to install magisk correctly, if anyone got it working just let me know!
Again, thanks Ale for the awesome rom, can't wait to see it becoming official!
Percent only

there was a problem with the microphone, they didn't hear me, but earlier on the proton firmware it was like that too, the solution: to flash another core. Here I also decided to replace the kernel

That's a pity. I came from Galaxy S8 to Pixel 5 because I LineageOS on S8 had the same problem and I felt that switching to Pixel 5 I would be less likely to encounter problems with basic phone functions. The progress so far is incredible at such an early stage so hopefully this microphone issue can be ironed out eventually.

This is Candy 11 for the Google Pixel 4a device. Built straight from source with commits from a variety of different sources/ROMS. We wanted to give the users a fast, fun, fully customisable ROM, with regular updates and security patches.
We do this as a hobby, and we happily share with with the custom ROM community, for free. We use what we share on our own devices, most as Daily Drivers, so you can be confident that problems will be promptly addressed.
Thanks for your support and camaraderie. Special thanks to GZOSP (RIP Martin), LineageOS, OmniROM, AOSiP, DU and the innumerable rest who make their source open. We can't do all of this on our own!
Stay tuned for more Candy!

If you have any other issue, please let us know in proper bug reporting fashion as indicated below.
Do NOT Report bugs if you're running a custom kernel or you installed other third-party mods.
Grab a logcat right after the problem has occurred. (Please include at least a few pages of the log, not just the last few lines, unless you know what you're doing.)
If it is a random reboot, grab /sys/fs/pstore/console-ramoops and /sys/fs/pstore/dmesg-ramoops-0. (Do not bother getting a logcat unless you can get it just before the reboot. A logcat after a reboot is useless)
If the problem disappears after running "setenforce 0" from a root shell, grab /data/misc/audit/audit.log

Great rom. One bug I noticed is that in settings, battery, if you enable show battery percentage, it still doesn't show it. Screen call doesn't work either but most roms don't and I can live without it. Edit: screen call does work after updating apps.

Here is the patched boot file if you need root. Boot.img taken by dumping the payload.bin file. Hope the dev doesn't mind me doing that? If so, I will gladly take it down. Just trying to help. Thank you.

I'm having some issue wherein some apps just wouldn't start. They don't crash but it seems they just get force closed/killed immediately. I tried doing a MatLog but I'm not sure if the information is enough. I hope you can help solve the problem. Thank you!
Edit: Forgot to mention I only flashed Firmware, ROM, NikGApps, Magisk, and DFE

probably because your data partition is in f2fs, you need to format it to ext4 or wait for the next release

I'm on ext4. I reflashed everything I'll observe if it happens again. Seems like a problem with gms because after clearing data of Play Services, I can start those apps but it stops working again after some time.
Hi, Great ROM, but I found some issues:
- In Wallpapers and Styles section of settings there are many wallpaper palettes (in groups of 4 per page), but all palettes on one given page, when selected, look exactly the same as the first one (others are broken)
- Face Unlock activates on Screen On, even when set to "on swipe up"
- UDFS custom animations are misaligned
- Sometimes "UDFS when screen off" doesn't work even when it's enabled
- Clock in QS is cut off above size 22 dp
Hello everybody.
First of all congratulations for the work.
I have installed according to the guide ROM, NikGApps and DFE.
I have a problem, When I connect the device to the computer, the drive appears, but I can't access the internal memory.
Any ideas?
Thanks
I've been waiting a long time for the return of Crdroid! Thank you!

I have the same small problems, without a doubt once they fix that this will be my header rom, the amount of customization it has is incredible, also, I would like to have the option for the tiles to vibrate when touching them, after that, nothing more, all excellent, more optimization I suppose
@firebird11, very nice ROM. Great battery life. Using your build for 2 weeks now and didn't face any problems. Bedankt!

Thanks, but I know how to sideload... I'm not asking, but saying that sideloading doesn't work with newer builds. I've tested it with the first build and that worked right away.
Hello everyone, one question, does the rom have any important errors? I'm thinking of installing it but it's a headache to configure everything and copy my files and I wanted to ask those who have the rom installed
It would be nice if they updated the information here so that many of us are better informed than by Telegram
Thanks
