res

good job

A couple of things. ROM won't boot unless you wipe data. The clock isn't centered when center is chosen. Choosing "Advanced Restart" changes nothing on my phone.
Have it up and running and rooted. So far no problems whatsoever. Great job.
Edit: after rooting advanced start is working. Not sure if that had anything to do with it but before that I had to use volume keys to get into bootloader.

Eagerly excited to give this a shot. Been wanting a reason to switch things up on my phone, and this sure is one. Will report back once I flash.
EDIT: Flashed on T-Mobile OP8 once converted to global. I attempted to flash from T-Mobile official, but this bombed out and caused it to boot into crashdump. So far, everything is nearly flawless. I will say that display calibration profiles isn't working, but that is pretty minor. Using the standard color correction works fine. I am going to run it through its paces for the rest of the night and tomorrow. If things go well, looks like this will be daily driver material.

Verizon Op8 unlocked. On A10 as I'm waiting to get updated modem from Verizon. I only have build on one slot _a, not both as msm tool has latest ota from Verizon loaded. Is being on A11 base or having oos on both slots a pre-requisite? Please and thank you beforehand.

Might want to read the installer script, your missing a credit

I flashed and it seems pretty good. Some issues to note are, when connected, there's no sound with bluetooth devices, sometimes during heavy use the screen will become unresponsive, and when the pop up comes in apps to use the fingerprint scanner, it shows 2 different overlays. I was unable to get logs and I flashed back to stock, but hopefully this helps

I also came back to post the bluetooth audio bug. Can also confirm that it happens with wired headsets as well, either using the adapter or using USB-C headphones.

I also have no bluetooth audio and display calibration profiles not working.

Wohooo finally!!

Guys help me. I flashed the rom so far so good but there's no fod icon change etc on the crdroid settings menu I went on lock screen options and there's only fod vibration verification but no fod icon change does anybody else have this? Can anyone help me with this one?

Just curious if any headway was made on the Bluetooth audio bug. If logs are needed, let me know and I can capture them.

Yeah, that's pretty much a deal-breaker. Looking at this guy's account it seems he's got a few irons in the fire when it comes to crDroid. Given this thread has like five posters seems not much interest from OP8 users. I'd guess that would leave us sucking hind tit. And it's hard to find fault. I'm sure this is really time consuming work and people have lives.

a new build is up, please don't use the internal installer but download it from our website and follow the install script
thanks everyone for the feedback, it's appreciated

Updated. Fixed the bluethooth issue. Haven't checked the other stuff yet.
A question. Updating as you do breaks root. Could a person extract the boot.img from your package, patch it with magisk, rename it boot.img, put it into the installer package, then update and retain root? Or would this cause the update process to fail?

LineageOS is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 10 (Q), which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device. LineageOS is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. LineageOS does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.
All the source code for LineageOS is available in the LineageOS Github Repo. And if you would like to contribute to LineageOS, please visit out Gerrit Code Review.

IMPORTANT, PLEASE READ THIS
This is a ROM built from source and not a GSI!
Fix Camera stretch & force close for some camera apps
You can do it editing /vendor/build.prop file using MiXplorer (you’ll need ROOT).
Search for the line “vendor.camera.hal1.packagelist”
After the = are the name of different apps. Delete one of these and put the package name of the app that you want to fix. For example, com.facebook.orca is the Facebook package name.
Per default, the ROM comes with Whatsapp, ZOOM, Snapchat and Instagram added. Maximum 4 Apps are allowed in this line and must be separated by comma ",".
If you don’t understand, open this link to see visual steps.
Fix Camera stuck
Sometimes, the camera can get inaccessible if an app was failed. If it happen, follow this:
Install this app. Open it and tap "Kill camera", then give it ROOT permissions. Done! Camera is working again.
Take in mind that if the camera is broken and you didn't do this, the audio in calls maybe not work.
GCam
This ROM can run GCam. Download a modded version for Exynos HERE. Thanks to Leonardo Estacio for his mod.
Games: this ROM works so good for gaming and can run ARM64 apps/games. If you feel lags, go to Settings > Battery > Battery Saver and performance > Performance Profile and set it to High Performance.
For close, i want to give a huge thanks to @Astrako - Without him this ROM haven't be possible <3

Reporting Bugs
DO NOT Report bugs if you're running a custom kernel or you installed Xposed
Grab a logcat right after the problem has occurred. (Please include at least a few pages of the log, not just the last few lines, unless you know what you're doing.)
If it is a random reboot, grab /proc/last_kmsg. (Do not bother getting a logcat unless you can get it just before the reboot. A logcat after a reboot is useless)
If the problem disappears after running "setenforce 0" from a root shell, grab /data/misc/audit/audit.log
Remember to provide as much info as possible. The more info you provide, the more likely that the bug will be solved. Please also do not report known issues. Any bug not reported in the bug report format below may be ignored.

Many thanks for making op8 officially built. I've been on since yesterday early and no issues other than can't call upon "hey google" to use assistant. But from what I've seen only works on stock. If anyone knows a fix , please share. Long press home button pulls it up but not hands free. ok ultranoob just told me I used wrong gapps using NikGapps. And linked to to correct ones. Tried going to official from unofficial and didn't like it. Had to clean flash to work.
Stoked to have an official build! It installs & runs great, thanks to all who made this possible for OP8!
It's nice to know it will always be updated and maintained - I was on DOT OS and loved it with Hasty kernel but the thread appears dead so here I am.

I did the copy partions zip only because im coming from fresh msm then unlock. And only had oos on one side.
Copying bugs from the closed thread with some additions:
1) Display is too light on minimal brightness, it's not comfortable to use in darkness. Also, it seems its too dark on maximum brightness, but I am not sure.
2) Phone speaker too loud on minimal volume. Everybody in room can hear my interlocutor.
3) Gravitation sensor work fine in apps like SatStat, but not in camera apps: OpenCamera and GCam. While making a photo, horizontal line in camera react to position change very, very slowly. It take about 15 seconds to display real horizon.
4) Not sure its a software problem, but nevertheless: Acc daemon + AccA app cannot limit battery charging voltage. This feature is very usefull to prolong battery live.
5) Phone setting to check Proximity settings before activation is not working, so, phone aims to go active in pocket. Proximity sensor itself is working (proved with SatStat app).
6) May be related to (1). Light sensor shows illumination value about 2..6 times more that it should be (tested with SatStat on a few devices). Error multiplicator not so big in dark place and grows with illumination level.

Search for payload dumper. Can be used in Windows as a standalone program, or making use of Python3 under Linux as well. Doing so, you will be able to extract the boot.img to be patched with Magisk. Very good explanations on howto, here on XDA.

Da*n what a loaded question lol, this dev has 2 other ROMs for our phone that he takes seriously and updates regularly. Much appreciated too.
What just happened?
Are you going to try for official for this? Liked your other ROMs, and would like to see this become an official offering.

Filed for it this morning.
Updated build to be less "lonely" for our device.
The battery section in the settings app keeps showing battery is low even when it's clearly not, any reason or fix for this? Other than that, seems quite stable, I like the launcher pick as well.
Oh and also, is there a way to get the AOD to show up on double tap? The fingerprint scanner doesn't seem to work on AOD either btw.
Thanks for your hard work developing the ROM, we all appreciate it!
Edit: Dolby Atmos shows that the phone is in speaker mode even when it's not and doesn't let me use the EQ at all.

Weird, I never experienced that. Video playback and gaming experience has been pretty fine so far. I'd suggest using MSMTool to revert back to stock OOS 11.0.9.9 then flashing the ROM again. If anything maybe try using forced 90hz to see if it fixes the issue?
Would someone who flashed this, show me the steps and from what OS base they started. Thanks appreciate it.

Well first you have to make sure your bootloader is unlocked. Then follow these steps:
Upgrade/downgrade to OOS 11.0.9.9 and again, make sure your bootloader is not locked (I used 11.0.10.10 as base and it also works but maybe not recommended)
Put your phone in fastboot/bootloader mode and connect to PC via the original charger cable
Boot into the provided recovery typing "fastboot boot recovery.img" on your PC's command line
On your phone tap "Apply Update" and "Apply from ADB" while in the recovery you just booted into
Then on your PC type "adb sideload rom.zip", replacing "rom" with the filename of the ROM build that you just downloaded
Give it some time then once it's done and assuming no errors popped up, go to the main screen of the recovery and choose the factory reset option
Reboot to system

I'm having some issue wherein some apps just wouldn't start. They don't crash but it seems they just get force closed/killed immediately. I tried doing a MatLog but I'm not sure if the information is enough. I hope you can help solve the problem. Thank you!
Edit: Forgot to mention I only flashed Firmware, ROM, NikGApps, Magisk, and DFE

probably because your data partition is in f2fs, you need to format it to ext4 or wait for the next release

I'm on ext4. I reflashed everything I'll observe if it happens again. Seems like a problem with gms because after clearing data of Play Services, I can start those apps but it stops working again after some time.
Hi, Great ROM, but I found some issues:
- In Wallpapers and Styles section of settings there are many wallpaper palettes (in groups of 4 per page), but all palettes on one given page, when selected, look exactly the same as the first one (others are broken)
- Face Unlock activates on Screen On, even when set to "on swipe up"
- UDFS custom animations are misaligned
- Sometimes "UDFS when screen off" doesn't work even when it's enabled
- Clock in QS is cut off above size 22 dp
Hello everybody.
First of all congratulations for the work.
I have installed according to the guide ROM, NikGApps and DFE.
I have a problem, When I connect the device to the computer, the drive appears, but I can't access the internal memory.
Any ideas?
Thanks
I've been waiting a long time for the return of Crdroid! Thank you!

I have the same small problems, without a doubt once they fix that this will be my header rom, the amount of customization it has is incredible, also, I would like to have the option for the tiles to vibrate when touching them, after that, nothing more, all excellent, more optimization I suppose
@firebird11, very nice ROM. Great battery life. Using your build for 2 weeks now and didn't face any problems. Bedankt!

Thanks, but I know how to sideload... I'm not asking, but saying that sideloading doesn't work with newer builds. I've tested it with the first build and that worked right away.
Hello everyone, one question, does the rom have any important errors? I'm thinking of installing it but it's a headache to configure everything and copy my files and I wanted to ask those who have the rom installed
It would be nice if they updated the information here so that many of us are better informed than by Telegram
Thanks

ABOUT
ArrowOS is an Android Open Source Project-based Android mobile operating system started with the aim of keeping things simple, clean, neat, and organized, both for the Android system and users. We added features that will be helpful in the long run, while aiming to deliver smooth performance and longer battery life. We understand the pain of unnecessary and sometimes rarely used mods/features being shipped with custom ROMs nowadays which may end up causing battery drains and/or memory leaks & crashes. This is being strictly avoided on our side keeping everything to a bare minimum, delivering stable performance all the time without destroying the AOSP interface. With users getting more used to tweaks and features, we added just the right features and customisations that will be actually USEFUL at the end of the day.

Great work. This is the first time I'm using Arrow OS as my daily drive and have to say that this is the ROM I'm gonna settle with. After going through 13 different ROMs for my Dubai (most of them unofficial obviously), I'm glad I've finally found the one.

Lineage official does not pass CTS by default. Though there is a workaround for that but don't want to go through the hassle either.
