Hello all,
I just baugth 2 Xiaomi Mi Mix 256Go and when i received these phones they come with rom of Mi Note 2 Inside. So Crazy !
I try to unlock the bootloader for reinstall a Mi Mix Rom but actually 1 of my Mi Accound had already unlock a Mi Mix last Month and my other Mi Accound said "Your device is't supported by Mi Unlock...".
I precise I was try to Flash whith XiaoMiFlash and Fastboot for flash original "miui_MIMIX_7.1.12_a9ebf58633_6.0" or 8.0.12.0 but same message : "FAILED (remote: Partition flashing is not allowed)" and i was try too with Xiaomy Recovery mod but Recovery download only update for Note 2 because my Mi Mix appear to be a Note 2 when i connect it.
Anyone have a solution for me please ?

Hello, thank you very much for your reply, but no news about the seller and i read all about flash solution but it's same i don't find solution for past the Mi Mix in EDL mode, and with Mi Pc suite china he said the phone is up to date with the last version of firmware for note 2 7.1.20...

I bought the XIAOMI MI A1 from Devicegreat.com,and find out that without tools or unlock bootloader, there is no way to flash a global rom to china rom. My Mimax convenient EDL cannot be used in XIAOMI MI A1.
Unlock is easy, but since mine is new and under warranty, i prefer a Xiaomi rom. Anyone can give suggestion?

Unfortunately NO but the miui-Forum burns with customer requests due this i think xiaomi will (must) be reacts with an solution within the next few days!
A lot of claims evetu day but nothing new... I hope xiaomi will have listen to us and find and solution to let authorized just 1 time and save our precious

To everyone with a bricked device, I emailed the global service department and asked them to authorize my account for my bricked Redmi note 5 pro and they replied back saying to wait a bit because it's done by server and my account will be authorized. I will try tonight when I get home to see if it works.
Here is the link, use the one at the bottom where it says global

They reply the same message to everyone. So...
I've got answer from them on 21th August and still nothing. Imagine that server's capabilities, it can't handle bunch of numbers.
Xiaomi is really getting worse day by day.. ?? they should have fix this issue asap but instead they are just sitting and laughing on us and doing nothing... ??Pathetic .. ? I also want to authorize my Mi Account.. any solution.. ?
I also need to have my account authorized. I sent a couple of pm to mods in miui forum but no response so far.
Maybe Xiaomi won't disable the authorization barrier ever, they are greedy and wanna sell new devices...

I need the smartphone to work, my redmi 6 stopped, and when I went to reinstall rom asked for an authorized mi account, I don't have one, please can someone help me with an authorized mi account? If I can borrow it just so I can fix my device, things in Brazil are bad because of the covid19. Please help me!
