[Completed] Mi Mix received with Mi Note 2 firmware inside

Hello all,
I just baugth 2 Xiaomi Mi Mix 256Go and when i received these phones they come with rom of Mi Note 2 Inside. So Crazy !
I try to unlock the bootloader for reinstall a Mi Mix Rom but actually 1 of my Mi Accound had already unlock a Mi Mix last Month and my other Mi Accound said "Your device is't supported by Mi Unlock...".
I precise I was try to Flash whith XiaoMiFlash and Fastboot for flash original "miui_MIMIX_7.1.12_a9ebf58633_6.0" or 8.0.12.0 but same message : "FAILED (remote: Partition flashing is not allowed)" and i was try too with Xiaomy Recovery mod but Recovery download only update for Note 2 because my Mi Mix appear to be a Note 2 when i connect it.
Anyone have a solution for me please ?

I would suggest you first to contact the seller for more details , only he knows what happened to your devices

Hello, thank you very much for your reply, but no news about the seller and i read all about flash solution but it's same i don't find solution for past the Mi Mix in EDL mode, and with Mi Pc suite china he said the phone is up to date with the last version of firmware for note 2 7.1.20...

TWRP & ROMs?

Previously I have owned phones by Vivo Oppo and Oneplus but I am new to Realme. What are the chances that this phone gains TWRP and/or any custom ROMs? Thanx

Really hard to say. The custom rom / twrp development has been really slow on the Realme X2 Pro, which means that not a lot of devs are working on Realme hardware.

On the other hand. The development of the XT is quite Good.

I don't think it's coming any soon

Also I think realme doesn't allow unlocking bootloader in EU.

I just hope they don't follow the footsteps from OPPO, which unlocking bootloader is a pain of the butt.

Is any possibility to get MIUI here ... i'm gonna pre order that thing but really want MIUI.

Be a little patient. Its gonaa be a while before we see something here.

Yes I made a post about it because someone wanted my help if they ran into issues on an X50 custom kernel I thought they meant X50 Pro and found the source code. Anybody attempt compiling it yet?

Regarding roms.... I compares network bands in Chinese and global versions. Look same so if I buy Chinese version can I upgrade software with EU rom (realme UI already) and get multilanguage? Or it will brick device?

It's not possible to flash global ROM on CN device.

I'm, wasn't possible on X2 Pro, which I had before this device and is still not possible on X50 Pro. I tried myself...
On X2 Pro people said because of different partitions or / and sizes.

Can you even find fastboot roms for this phone? I found a site with the roms, but they're all the recovery roms. I'm thinking of buying the new X50 Pro Player variant, but I don't have a lot of information regarding custom roms for the X50 Pro which isn't a good sign for the X50 Pro Player.

is there anyone who can post me a fastboot rom for rmx 2076 version? thanks

Pixel Experience Rom

As my fellow developers already must be knowing that Realme has stopped providing future OS updates leaving us on ColorOS 6 platform. They didn't even provide us RealmeOS.
I would be very greatful to you if provide a clean ROM such as Pixel Experience for this device as there are none in the market right now. Please do it as I can't afford another device till I graduate and find a job.

You won't get any ROM development, since realme did provide the source code and bootloader unlock method for creating the rom or rooting it. So don't expect any ROM development unless source code are released.

So how come Realme 3 pro and 5 pro have got Pixel Experience Rom? Realme released the source code of those ROMs?

Yup, they released the source code and bootloader unlock method for the device, so they got the rom. You can ask in customer service for bootloader unlock, but they don't provide any necessary information. I don't hope any rom development for the device until bootloader unlock is available.

But now in my realme 2 I'm unlocked bootloader and installed twrp ,,now which rom is stable for realme 2,
And Oppo A5 is same as realme 2,can I install oppoA5 custom ROMs

I don't think twrp will let you install oppo A5 rom in realme 2 as both Device are different. It would give you error 7 or something. If it you are able to flash also you are going to encounter so many bugs, like camera, device crash, random reboots. If you are still willing to flash the PE, take a backup of stock ROM And go for a try. But be sure not to brick your device.

Will this triggererd anti rollback issue on Xiaomi 12X?

Understand this forum is for Xiaomi 12, not for Xiaomi 12X. However as there's no Xiaomi 12X forum yet, I took the liberty to post my question here, hope you don't mind....
While waiting for 168 hours to unlock bootloader, further research & observed "anti rollback" issue on Xiaomi phone, which might result in bricking the phone.
1/ My 12X with global rom V13.0.5.0.RLDMIXM & plan to flash it to taiwan rom V13.0.2.0.RLDTWXM then lock bootloader, will this trigger the anti rollback issue?
2/ If encountered anti rollback issue, just need to modify corresponding flash_all_lock.bat to remove the ::check anti_version section from bat file, is that correct?
Sorry if asked stupid questions, as I'm really new in mobile rom flashing....
