Most stable rom for 8T - OnePlus 8T Questions & Answers

Any opinions on what the most stable ROMs are? Preferably that support microg or signature spoofing.
I'm on Lineage now and it has some issues. I had assumed it would be the most stable.
Thanks!

YAAP is super stable. I am using it as a DD and no issues. It comes with GApps so you'll have to uninstall those if you don't want them.
I've tested Lineage, Derpfest and AICP. YAAP is the best.

CM vs. Mokee ROM?

Is one more stable than the other? I know that the unofficial CM version says it's alpha while Mokee indicates that it's beta. I know that both are evolve but are both fine for using the camera, phone, messaging, etc. right now?
I never used Mokee, but Cyanogen since one week, there a some bugs of course, but It's stable.
Contrary to mokee, CM, will pass to Mashmallow. So CM13 is coming
i'm on mokee and i don't see any difference between mokee and cm.
I for one, think it's easier to install Google services on mokee, since it has its own gapps.
are gapps already included in the Mokee ROM? Is there no need to flash one from opengapps.org ?
I did not find any download link for seperate Gapps in Mokee's OP....
I'm using CM currently, and never tried mokee before.
It work completely fine, and works great for me. Does not have any issue for me and definitely better than MIUI.
There is an offican cm built for the mi4c?

Now with CM dead, all CM ROMs die...what ROM now?

It seems a lot like my other thread, but I wanted to give a POV for others using CM (or CM based) ROMs alternative choices.
So where do CM users go for their OnePlus One?
LineageOS
Too beta for now.
Lineage is for all intents and purposes IS CyanogenMod. Stick with a stable CM build until the builds start coming back online.

Are the nightly\experimental builds OK to use daily or should I wait for a stable version?

It just picks up from where CM14.1 left off, so if you were using a CM14.1 nightly chances are the new nightlies will be the same. I'd say they're pretty stable for what it's worth, they're definitely the most concrete ROMs for this device.

Which ROM after CM 12.1?

Hi,
I am still on CM12.1 and my Moto G sometimes just turns itself off, even when battery is at 60+ percent.
I want to try a different ROM, but I don't know which one. I am looking for a stable ROM with Android 6.0 and up. Don't care for lots of features or dual-sim support, it only needs to be stable as a daily driver.
Any recommendations?
Try AospExtended ROM V3.1 with Zerobyte kernel. You will not be disappointed.

Thanks. But I don' think this is the right ROM for me, looks heavily modified with a lot of cherry-picks. I think I'll give LineageOS 14.1 a try.
Is LineageOS not heavily modified?
I was also still on CM12.1 until last week (didn't have any problems whatsoever though) and now tried Lineage for a few days but I had some performance problems, so I switched to CM13 and that's really great so far. Very smooth with a few improvements over CM12, while I don't miss any features from Nougat

Aosp is the best customization i ever seen . for the J7 it is Only be unofficial releases for the Aosp but There are AoSp dev s trying harder to make it stable for our j7 hats off to that guys. We know there is no official release means there is only unofficial customization with bugs but there is some Currntly Stable and its Can use for daily driver. Im like to hear what kind of AOSP roms your are Currently Using for Daily Driver. Thank you .

I tried more than 10 different ROM which is, Lineage OS, RR, Google Alpha, ENIGMA Rom, .Legend OS, Dot OS etc..
Actually, when I first time flash the RR Beta 6 version ROM and used 2 days, it was working very very fast with 1000 of customizations & smooth running also. But for testing purpose I tried different ROM, but I don't like it. And now when I tried to install same RR Beta 6, it is not working. Only Stable version is working.
Believe me that Beta 6 version is more stable, than the stable version.

There is official Mokee rom on website why not on xda?

Mokee Rom is developing roms since many years for natrium. why there is no thread for mokee in xda. Please make one im unable to download from website too.
This is the rom
It's official, we can't just create some thread about it, the mantainer should do it. They have their website, even if it's posted here the rom won't be reuploaded but there will be links to that site. It may be slow but that's because they ask for donations to be able to download full speed, just disable adblocker and wait for it to download
anyone use this rom? is it true that we must to install MIUI 1st for flashing this cumROM?

I've installed Mokee on my mi5s plus just like other ROMs (wipe cache, dalvik, data, system, then install rom, gapps and optionally magisk).
First boot took about 2 minutes and phone got really hot, more than other roms.
Everything looks simillar to LineageOS, just added some apps like new gallery LeafPic or music player Phonograph.
Performance is a very little bit better in Mokee than in LineageOS, battery is a lot better in Mokee than LineageOS.
Overall, I'm staying with Mokee, for now it's the best oreo based ROM
(If u were asking, I'm using version from 2nd of July)
