[Q] GB front facing camera issue

Hello, im new to the G2X but coming from the Hd2 im pretty familiar with rom flashing and what not so yesterday i flashed WeaponG2x rom to my phone, but the lg camera was super dim on my screen. so i flashed the stock camera which fixed the dimness, but now the FFC photo quality is super poor Is there another camera i can use that will give me decent quality FFC pics? on the HD2 i used the MIUI camera, is that possible on the G2X? or can anyone recommend one from the market? thanks
Not sure if you are actually experiencing an issue. The FFC has significantly less resolution than the rear camera so image quality will be much lower.

thats what i was thinking too at first but the pics look actully kinda staticy not just blurry. the pics come out so bad theyre pretty much useless

that "statis" is due to the crappy image sensor. nothing u can do about it.
Try taking a picture in daylight outside. Should be better.
I am having the same issue after updating to Weapon G2x 2.4 Rom. Its great because I finally got the original LG camera back, but the FFC when in camera mode shows the picture in a horizontal layout while I am holding my phone in a veritcal position. Also, when in Camcorder mode the video start cutting out (green screen, static, lines, etc.) unless pretty much. I wonder if this would be fixed down the road and hopefully they dont remove the original LG Camera. I noticed the developer has a link to update to Gingerbread camera. I am new to all this and is my first time flashing a phone due to (LG/T-Mobile) allowing such a bad product to be sold.
You have to wait for update

Yeah the LG camera is still a work in progress they are definitly aware of it. They will have it fixed. You can follow progress if you go to the development section and find the post for stock froyo camera on gingerbread. then you can update yourself when they come out with the next version. I am using the LG camera on zboarders stock tweeked rom and the only issues really are like you said the FFC is horizontal and in video mode the zoom only works wile not recording. If you press the vol up\down while recording it shows the zoom bar but it doesnt zoom. And if you notice most video cameras dont do that anyway. I have not experienced the cut outs or green screens yet but I also dont shoot alot of video. Here is a link to the dedv page for the LG camera http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1166531

The g4 iso lvl is much more heigher than note 5 note 5 max only 800 iso so for further darker area need more iso but able to take picture at darker area but will get alot noise lvl while 800 is not enough
Plus when i set g4 to manual mode when next time i start the camera again it will remain at manual mode plus the histogram will show u what is ur current camera facing
Battery on g4 sucks software at g4 looks normal but when change to note 5 u will notice that note 5 is really faster smoother
I like the leather back and i hate the durability of the leather(becoz its leather...) when everytime i remove my cover i will took extra careful to remove the protection cover
In term of camera i prefer g4(i dont like to use auto mode becos of their preset setting is not so accurate)(auto mode setting at note 5 is great(for normal shot))
Why i switch to note 5? BECOZ OF THE FKING "S-PEN"(my job need to use it before g4 i was using note 2 i think i can live without it but at the end the g4 only last 3-4month)

Is it possible to add super night camera mode from Huawei to Galaxy s7?

I love this mode from my Huawei ascend mate 7, i could take pictures of the stars.
With the new and approved Galaxy S7 camera, i would like this mode added.
With a mod or other method.
Yes, that would interest me.
If someone can port the Huawei camera app to the S7, maybe it'll work, but that's about the only way.

I'm sure it can be done. The S7's camera has fantastic low light capabilities, so to be able to port over a software setting to optimize night pics like that should be doable. Samsung will probably update their stock camera software to include that ability soon. With the developments of HTC, Sony, Samsung, and LG (Ibelieve the G5 will be the device to watch this year. With their modular camera accessories, they can continue to improve the hardware with the same device. It's a brilliant concept), I expect smartphone camera technology to be able to take perfectly professional pictures in the very near future

That is bullocks.. The camera stays the same.. And the camera on the G5 isnt that special. They can only improve Software not the hardware....
You can easily take a photo of the stars by tinkering on the pro mode.
Simply look at the lowest ISO and decreasing the shutter speed. You will need to stablise your phone of course.

So people are gullible enough to believe LG can add sth else apart from batteries with their module? The only other possibility is a lens attachment which won't change much. The G5 isn't that modular in the real sense of the word. The camera won't change.

In pro mode select aperture settings and select 10, this sets the exposure to 10 seconds, with this you can achieve amazing photos of the sky and and milky way, very impressive for a phone.
Why you need that app for that?
Already available on the S7 in Pro Mode.

[Q] Are those Lens Kits compatible with Moto G3 ?

Have anyone of you used Fish Eye Lens or Macro Lens on your Moto G3 ? I have a doubt regarding its compatibility since the G3 has a camera on center unlike those on an iPhone or Sony device.
Here's an xda LINK for those lens kits.

Is it possible to hardware upgrade an lg g5?

After nearly 5 years my lg g5 started showing signs of aging and i asked myself if i could upgrade the internal hardware of my phone. So headed on yt and found nothing about it, but i found some lg g8 thinq teardown footage and noticed that its wide angle camera it's basically the same size as the one in the lg g5. So can i put the lg g8 camera inside my lg g5?
Assuming that i can fit the new camera in the phone I think to answer this question i mey need to answer these questions first:
-do both camera have same connector?
-if yes,do i need driver for the new camera?
-are there any?
