Nice finally... Was waiting for it for so long....thanks guys... Will try it now...
Good work mate. Thanks for sharing it with the community.
I can't get the flash vbmeta command to work.
This is what I'm getting:
C:\adb>fastboot flash vbmeta vbmeta.img
Sending 'vbmeta' (8 KB) FAILED (Write to device failed (no link))
fastboot: error: Command failed
FIX: I disconnected the phone, closed the adb terminal. Reopened the terminal, ran the command and got to <waiting for device>. Then just plugged in the phone again and it worked. Phone was in fastboot the whole time.
The rom doesn't seem to be pre-loaded with Visible network apn. I also can't set the apn manually because it's greyed out.

Probably because Visible is Verizon. APN is already added.

There's something that I don't know if it happens to anyone. When you block any app with applock (for example whatsapp, telegram or youtube), if you share a link on you browser, fingerprint disappears very quickly and doesn't let me to share. I attach a logcat. Thanks in advanced and amazing job.
Edit: battery consumption in standby seems to be a bit high.

It works on verizon networks now, thank you. I haven't tried wi-fi calling but I'm sure it probably works.
Hello, thanks for this ROM!
How does one go about flashing a GApps package? Thank you in advance.
EDIT: Apologies, figured it out. Didn't see the GApps folder at first.
For the life of me I am not able to complete the payload.bin process. I've attempted this on both my laptop and school surface go 2. Ive been such a fan of this rom and it's finally here for the OP7pro! I've even customized my install directory with a no-go with cmd lines. Reverting back to lineage will simpler due to my lack of payload knowledge but I'm still thankful for the development into such a promising ROM! Beer for you guys!

Hey, I had to use a different version of the extraction software. I used the payload dumper from this video:
You could try that and see if it works.
I'm having an issue where the screen slowly dims to black after unlocking. I can see the screen when I use scrcpy, but the display is black.
Logs attached of locking, unlocking phone.
Thank you again.

Thanks bud but I don't think the video is available. Something prevents the video from playing, this giving me a playback error.

Okay I feel kind of stupid but I was able to extract the payload.bin using payload-dumper-go. It was very simple. I just downloaded and unzipped the dumper zip, transferred the payload.bin and opened the terminal within the file locations with shift left. then i executed all lines, rebooted to recovery and sideloaded the ROM.zip, rebooted and am now up and running DotOS!!!!
Is there a way to choose which home panel is the home panel? It keeps choosing the left most panel as home. Also, some of the settings seem to have misplaced touch boxes like in the reset options. Fingerprint isn't able to be setup.

If you have twrp working then yes you can flash via twrp. I posted the fastboot instructions for anyone having problems due to encryption or a11 blobs.

Bug reporting:
DO NOT Report bugs if you're running a custom kernel or you installed Xposed
Grab a logcat right after the problem has occurred. (Please include at least a few pages of the log, not just the last few lines, unless you know what you're doing.)
If it is a random reboot, grab dmesg . (Do not bother getting a logcat unless you can get it just before the reboot. A logcat after a reboot is useless)
If the problem disappears after running "setenforce 0" from a root shell, grab /data/misc/audit/audit.log
Remember to provide as much info as possible. The more info you provide, the more likely that the bug will be solved. Please also do not report known issues.

ROM Installation:
Boot to bootloader, then:
Code:
~$ fastboot reboot fastboot (do NOT skip - this brings you into the needed "fastbootd" mode)
~$ fastboot -w (This will WIPE your data, skip for dirty flash)
~$ fastboot update AOSiP-11-Ravioli-hotdogg-XXXXXXXX-fastboot.zip
If you dont want to auto-boot after flashing, so you can flash magisk/gapps, instead do:
~$ fastboot update --skip-reboot AOSiP-11-Ravioli-hotdogg-XXXXXXXX-fastboot.zip
Magisk/Gapps Installation:
(Note: only flash gapps ZIPs if you use the non-gapps AOSiP build)
Boot to bootloader, then:
Code:
~$ fastboot boot twrp.zip
(do NOT flash twrp - you will loose "fastbootd" mode, we only want to boot it)
~$ adb push filename.zip /sdcard
(if you did "--skip-reboot" storage will appear missing - that is okay)
-Flash ZIPs using TWRP GUI
-Boot
Make sure you are using latest fastboot version!

Unlock Warning:
- You need to backup your persist.img. The unlock process breaks the fingerprint reader
(there is a new fix if you didn't, but backing up is way easier, trust me)
- persist.img is most important, but never a bad idea to get full dump/backup to be safe
Once backed up, you can always restore FP functionality by doing:
Code:
~$ fastboot flash persist persist.bin
Getting your phone into EDL mode
Code:
- While holding {Vol+} & {Vol-}, insert USB
- Your screen will remain blank, you will immediately be in EDL mode
- You will have 10 seconds to interact with EDL mode, or the phone will restart into Charging mode
- If an EDL mode interaction fails, you will need to first reboot into fastboot by holding {Vol+} & {Vol-} & {Power} for 10 seconds
MSM Readback (Windows Only)
Download Tool
Grab any MSM Tool version
Obtain Backup
- Launch tool
- Select Target 'TMO'
- Press F8 (password is 'oneplus')
- Select Partitions & Hit OK

- Put phone in EDL mode (SEE NOTE)
- Enumerate device
- Click Readback & Wait
(Files will be dumped to C:/)
EDL Tool Backup (Linux Only)
Obtain the tool
Use GIT:
Code:
~$ git clone [email protected]:bkerler/edl.git
—or—
Download ZIP: https://github.com/bkerler/edl/archive/master.zip

Hey Constrabus, Thank you for the work that you have made here for this community. I love your rom that you have given us, and would like to ask if you could you re-upload your Gapps Nov 20 build. I cant seem to get it to finish downloading. I have tried adding Gapps using TWRP on the non Gapps Rom, but no matter what I did, I couldn't get the TWRP to mount the necessary partitions.

No matter, new builds uploading now.
Non-gapps is up, gapps should be up in less than 30min.

Awesome, glad to hear it. Thank you for your hard work :good:
Can I flash it on hotdog(HD1910)? Thanks!
Damn sourceforge
I've been trying all night to download it - Ive used Jdownloader in hopes it would re-try throughout the night, it inevitably fails - chrome fails...
If it would be helpful - I dont mind hosting the 2 most current builds on my personal google drive - It's going to be much more reliable than sourceforge - I dont know about speed, but even 100kbps is better than 0.

Big big update!
Both gapp and nogapp builds are up!
Be sure to note install steps have been reordered .
All working great anyone having issues with the fastboot reboot command they more than likely out of date. Also its worth mentioning the difference in the bootloader screen and the fastboot one.
The boot loader is the multi-colared one and the correct fast boot screen when doing fastboot reboot fastboot is all black screen with different language selections bottom being english

1. First Important Step is to Backup (though depends on you if you wanna be safe or no )
2. extract the ROM.zip
3. extract the fastboot Rom installer zip (download link below)
4. take the payload.bin and copy it to input folder of payload_dumper-win64
5. run the payload_dumper.exe
6. take all the *.img files from output and paste it outer folder with adb, fastboot and etc files
For clean flash
7. reboot to fastboot, (sometimes it doesn't work from bootloader so try going 'fastboot' from recovery)
8. run ROMinstaller.bat (see NOTES below), if it get stuck try rebooting to fastboot again while script is on
9. factory reset from recovery
10. reboot
For update/dirty flash
7. authorize phone for adb while normally booted
8. run updateKEEPdata.bat (remove the flash recovery line from script or use new uploaded)
9. reboot
NOTES:
1) recovery from v2 zip seems working fine, so should not have any issues
2) If the script feels stuck or unresponsive, try pressing enter after clicking on the script window.
3) It does use pixel experience recovery for now so do not freak out
4) if dirty flash not works, clean flash should work

Installed on a OP8 Pro just to test out Visible (Verizon MVNO) carrier compatibility. Sim card is seen as "Visible" but Network Settings is grayed out and there's no other connection.
Posted mostly for the sake of others that are on the same quest as I to get off of stock rom and use Visible that may be curious.

well, this build is for oneplus 8, and not 8 pro or 8 t. I only tested it on op8 myself
Sorry, I wasn't trying to signal it wasn't going to work, but purely wanted to see if it had the Verizon / Visible compatibility included. I'm learning quite a bit about what goes into carrier configuration and realize that expecting a ROM to have compatibility with a carrier that (I believe) requires specific vendor files above and beyond the APN settings isn't really practical.
FWIW though, it did install and boot on OP8 Pro anyway, so there's that.

I see, no problem, no guarantee but I'll keep an eye out for that
I am also having problems with my Verizon sim on my op8. I can receive calls actually, just can't call someone from my end. I can only send texts if I use the Verizon messages app. Idk if it's just certain sim cards but that's what's happening for me. Hopefully this can be fixed. But overall a great build!
welcome hycon

So your on Verizon A11 and have data/signal on this build? If it's wompy you probably just need to add correct apn's.
HHi. It is one of the few ROMs that I have not been able to detect failures. The bluetooth works well with any android compatible device. Its operation is fluid, It connects well with the car through android auto (this is not easy to find with ROMs based on aosp or similar with android 11) the battery has very good performance and is compatible with magisk and Xposed framework. Congratulations on the development and I look forward to the next update. Brilliant work. When will it be published?

try N30d and any firmware 30b
When I install NikGapps the ROM corrupts itself and asks me to wipe userdata, when I do, the Gapps are gone and it replaces the recovery as well. What am I doing wrong? I'm using the latest available orangefox build from their website.

Try this steps
Install steps:
flash orangefox to both slots.
boot into ofox
format data
reboot to ofox
flash rom
flash orangefox zip (it will boot into recovery after flashing ofox)
optional flash gapps and magisk 22.zip
wipe data and cache
reboot (after you reboot you need to install magsik manager 22 apk manually)
You have to flash ofox to both slots again after you boot into system.

What about v30f-eur-xx? Is flashing from that version compatible?
Hi!
Is dirty flashing possible?
Wishes.
Dear Emanuel, thank you for your hard work! Using actual build dotOS-R-v5.0.0-judyln-UNOFFICIAL-20210316-1511 and it’s working very stable, pretty fast without any issues on first sight.
Flashed it with v30f-eur-xx without issues.
My way of installing the Rom ( unlocked bootloader):
flash orangefox zip (v1.8) in orangefox
boot into ofox
format data
reboot to ofox
flash rom
flash orangefox zip (it will boot into recovery after flashing ofox)
flash magisk 21.4.zip
wipe data and cache
reboot (after you reboot you need to install magsik manager 22 apk manually)
Maybe (don’t remember): You have to flash ofox again after you boot into system and magisk again
The only issue I recognized atm is that it’s not rebooting straight to the orangefox recovery. workaround: just press both vol up/down when rebooting.

Installing a custom recovery using fastboot
Download Evolution X Recovery. Simply download the latest recovery file, named something like evolution_pyxis-ota-tq1a.230205.002-02070633-unsigned.img.
warning
IMPORTANT: Other recoveries may not work for installation or updates. We strongly recommend to use the one linked above!
Connect your device to your PC via USB if it isn’t already.
If your device isn’t already in fastboot mode, on the computer, open a command prompt (on Windows) or terminal (on Linux or macOS) window, and type:
adb reboot bootloader
You can also boot into fastboot mode via a key combination:
With the device powered off, hold Volume Down + Power. Keep holding both buttons until the word “FASTBOOT” appears on the screen, then release.
Once the device is in fastboot mode, verify your PC finds it by typing:
fastboot devices
If you don’t get any output or an error:
on Windows: make sure the device appears in the device manager without a triangle. Try other drivers until the command above works!
on Linux or macOS: If you see no permissions fastboot try running fastboot as root. When the output is empty, check your USB cable and port!
check
TIP: Some devices have buggy USB support while in bootloader mode, if you see fastboot hanging with no output when using commands such as fastboot getvar ..., fastboot boot ..., fastboot flash ... you may want to try a different USB port (preferably a USB Type-A 2.0 one) or a USB hub.
Flash recovery onto your device (replace <recovery_filename> with the actual filename!):
fastboot flash recovery <recovery_filename>.img
Now reboot into recovery to verify the installation. Do not reboot into the existing OS, since it will overwrite the recovery you just installed!
With the device powered off, hold Volume Up + Power. Keep holding both buttons until the “MI” logo appears on the screen, then release.
NOTE: If you can’t power down the device, try long-pressing the key-combination (if any was used in the instructions above) until the device reboots and follow the instructions above
Installing Evolution X from recovery
Download the Evolution X installation package that you would like to install.
You will also need to flash an empty super image since your device uses retrofitted dynamic partitions: download super_empty.img from the directory named with the latest date here
Install instructions Taken from Lineage install instructions for Pyxis and edited for install instructions for Evolution X on Pyxis. All credits to @ceracz for his incredible work on the Pyxis. Thank you.

Update is live Guys
I tried this ROM on my Mi 9 Lite and everything works with the exception of the unreliable in-display fingerprint. But otherwise it's a solid ROM and oh boy, that makes it feel like a Pixel phone with more features than the real Pixel!
Thanks for your hard work!

Update is Live Guys.
My phone keeps booting to Recovery.
I downloaded the update and tried to install OTA. I couldn't remember if I used twrp or not because it's been so long since there was an update. It didn't work.
I tried doing a clean flash following the instructions above and I'm still being booted to the recovery.
Is there something I can do to fix this?

Hey, I have the same issues in the past every time I flash a new rom. You have to flash the VBMETA PATCHER for our device.
You can find link'n'stuff here.
In few words the vbmeta check that there have been no tampering inside the "boot", "System" and "Vendor" partitions. So without its replacement, following the flash of .zip packages, the device may not be able to start the ROM and go to Bootloop.

Thanks, but now I'm in worse shape. lol I bricked my phone. It only boots to fast boot.
I found a tutorial to help, but I'm having difficulty using the solution because it's for people using WIndows, not Linux. I'm not well versed with using the Linux terminal and having trouble using adb tools. Windows in the sandbox isn't working for some reason. I downloaded a new Windows ISO image but I'm getting messages in the sanbox about no bootable disk.

Hey partner
I downloaded this rom ( https://mirrorbits.lineageos.org/full/pyxis/20221224/lineage-19.1-20221224-nightly-pyxis-signed.zip )
This recovery ( https://mirrorbits.lineageos.org/recovery/pyxis/20221224/lineage-19.1-20221224-recovery-pyxis.img )
This super empty image ( https://mirror.math.princeton.edu/pub/lineageos/full/pyxis/20221224/ )
And followed the installation steps from here ( https://wiki.lineageos.org/devices/pyxis/install ) till step 6 where you will sideload the rom
That's all I did then I reboot the phone and it booted to EvolutionX
P.S
The flash of super empty image maybe it will just shown "Searching for devices" or something like this in ADB. Just press Ctrl+C and continue forward

Hi, as @[email protected] said you need to do a clean flash and:
REMEMBER: is important that from fastboot you directly go in TWRP mode or the TWRP will be overwritten.
Here you can find a useful Linux adb command list. (commands are pretty much WIndows likely)
PS
Try to load TWRP from fastboot: adb reboot recovery
IMPORTANT: While you are in Fastboot be sure that phone is charged

probably yeah
Builds are live same build as 04/07
This Dev is on Point and is building some of the finest Roms I've used. Thank you Dev for bringing this wonderful build to us
Great!
This is truly the Best Rom Ever, as displayed in the launcher.
It is a pleasant surprise to see this go official so soon.
This is the smoothest Rom for our device so far, out of various Roms I have tried, yet feature rich and quite customizable too. Battery life is way better than stock too (thanks in part to Kiri kernel for that too), among various other things.
Thanks again for all your time and effort.
i would love to try this out but included kiri kernel means we need to root and flash powerhint module...unless you found a way to include this with ROM
i need to run unroot for my work app.
wish it had radioactive kernel as default.

Actually running better without the Powerhint module...
Give it a try..im also running unrooted
Question, the phone vibrates every time is locked, in my pocket and on movement (like walking). Very short vibrations like when the phone gets unlocked. When it is standing still, it does not happen. Why is it happening?. Running crDroid 9.3.

How are you flashing? Make sure you start with fresh base flash from Google flash page with latest image. This ROM doesn't say what security patch it's based off of yet so you have to wait and see .. usually what I do, is flash factory firmware from Google flash page, plug in my phone , select disable verity and flags, flash straight thru, once it finished flashing and phone boots up, I then flash vendor boot via fastboot flash vendor_boot ( vendor location ).img once it says successful in fastboot screen in cmd I reboot to recovery, i go into update - via adb and select flash via adb - once it goes into adb mode in recovery I go on PC and run adb sideload lineagexxxx.zip and allow to flash... Takes about 3-5 minutes ... Once I get status 0 I reboot into recovery again, apply update via adb, and flash gapps , and once they complete, I reboot to system, once I see system boot up successfully, I then rebooted into recovery and sideload adb magisk. It patches the boot.img and once I get status ∅ I reboot and set up. Once I'm done setting up and land in homescreen I go into magisk and >> install >> direct install and then reboot. You will get " magisk has to do something blah blah blah, ignore the message and direct install and then reboot. Mind you this is just in case. Once it reboots I go back into magisk and see that it shows latest installed magisk version and set up from then on. You will need some of these modules , although I advise installing all the ones shown... I personally configure deny list as such in the picture... Reboot and Google pay works and cts passes. Good luck.
So ahh
I can slap this on a Pixel 7, riight...
Any word on a Pixel 7 version
Thanks for your hard work.
