DO NOT Report bugs if you're running a custom kernel or you installed Xposed​
Grab a logcat right after the problem has occurred. (Please include at least a few pages of the log, not just the last few lines, unless you know what you're doing.)​
If it is a random reboot, grab dmesg . (Do not bother getting a logcat unless you can get it just before the reboot. A logcat after a reboot is useless)​
If the problem disappears after running "setenforce 0" from a root shell, grab /data/misc/audit/audit.log​
Remember to provide as much info as possible. The more info you provide, the more likely that the bug will be solved. Please also do not report known issues.​

If you dont want to auto-boot after flashing, so you can flash magisk/gapps, instead do:

- You need to backup your persist.img. The unlock process breaks the fingerprint reader
(there is a new fix if you didn't, but backing up is way easier, trust me)
- persist.img is most important, but never a bad idea to get full dump/backup to be safe
Once backed up, you can always restore FP functionality by doing:

- While holding {Vol+} & {Vol-}, insert USB
- Your screen will remain blank, you will immediately be in EDL mode
- You will have 10 seconds to interact with EDL mode, or the phone will restart into Charging mode
- If an EDL mode interaction fails, you will need to first reboot into fastboot by holding {Vol+} & {Vol-} & {Power} for 10 seconds

- Launch tool
- Select Target 'TMO'
- Press F8 (password is 'oneplus')
- Select Partitions & Hit OK

Hey Constrabus, Thank you for the work that you have made here for this community. I love your rom that you have given us, and would like to ask if you could you re-upload your Gapps Nov 20 build. I cant seem to get it to finish downloading. I have tried adding Gapps using TWRP on the non Gapps Rom, but no matter what I did, I couldn't get the TWRP to mount the necessary partitions.

I've been trying all night to download it - Ive used Jdownloader in hopes it would re-try throughout the night, it inevitably fails - chrome fails...
If it would be helpful - I dont mind hosting the 2 most current builds on my personal google drive - It's going to be much more reliable than sourceforge - I dont know about speed, but even 100kbps is better than 0.

Find the TWRP zip in Downloads section of OP.
Once TWRP is booted up, use its flashing function to flash the MAGISK zip, also found in OP.

Both gapp and nogapp builds are up!
Be sure to note install steps have been reordered .

All working great anyone having issues with the fastboot reboot command they more than likely out of date. Also its worth mentioning the difference in the bootloader screen and the fastboot one.
The boot loader is the multi-colared one and the correct fast boot screen when doing fastboot reboot fastboot is all black screen with different language selections bottom being english

if you are coming from a different rom wipe userdata by typing fastboot -w

* Major Release, do a full wipe if you have problems. I actually STRONGLY recommend a full wipe anyways.
* For all intents and purposes this is a Stable release. I've done extensive testing and everything has worked as it should or above and beyond. Now on to the updates
* A lot of just under the hood optimization and cleanup. There some configuration options that weren't exactly optimized for our device, dalvik config is a good example.
* 5G support is on par with stock ROM, if not better.
* Auto brightness has been improved
* Some cosmetic issues have been addressed like status bar padding and FOD icon centering.
* Fixed a wakelock issue when using Always on Display
* Adjustable display refresh rate code has been improved.
* Updated vendor libs from hotdog Android R OB2 to allow full use of Android 11 Display HAL
* Added Stereo in call recording support
* Various audio fixups, including increasing volume steps from 7 to 15 and raising the max volume level to be on par with stock OOS
* Optimized Always on Display: fixed wakelock issue, lowed default AOD brightness, as well as enabled auto brightness when on AOD if enabled by user within settings
* Many upstream changes, fixes, and improvments.
** This will most likely be my final release as i have moved on to the Snapdragon variant of the Note 20 Ultra 5G. Thanks for the support guys and I hope you enjoy my work. Hopefully someone will pick up where I left off.

* Notification pull-down menu now shows 3 rows of tiles as expected
* Added "Minimum Refresh Rate" settings option in Settings > Display instead of hard-coding to 90htz always. With this new option choosing 90htz will (obviously) make it always 90htz , and choosing 60htz is similar to the "Dynamic" option in stock OOS where it decides based on what app your using.
* (With version 18.1 most, if not all of the expected LineageOS features have been merged)
* Fixed "choppy" display frame rate that would happen from time to time
* Fingerprint recognition speed improvement.
* Fixed excessive battery drain when Always On Display is active
* Update dalvik configs (they were configured for an 8GB RAM devices, we have 12)

* Standalone 5G (NR SA) support, requires being on 10.0.39 or newer modem. Also be aware the signal icon will show no bars when connected to NR SA, this is just a cosmetic bug.

* Added audio volume policy , should fix the lower then normal volume when below 50%
* SELinux is currently set to "Permissive" until I work out all the sepolicy errors

New build uploaded. I recommend everyone to update to it as it addresses the last few bugs i'm aware of and all the LOS specific features are fully merged

I got this installed and it's fantastic. For some reason my camera is capped at 12mp, even on other camera apps. Is there anything I can do about that?

That's normal,even on OOS

First time installing a custom ROM but when I run "fastboot update lineage-18.1-<builddate>-UNOFFICIAL-hotdogg+GAPPS_fastboot.zip" I get an error reading "Fastboot: error: failed to open zip file 'lineage-18.0-<builddate>-UNOFFICIAL-hotdogg+GAPPS_fastboot.zip': I/O error
EDIT: I got it working

I've installed the latest build (18.1, build 12/26), but I can't change notification, ringtone, or alarm through settings. Clicking on any of those restarts the settings app.
EDIT: I tried to do a workaround through tasker, but when I go to choose the sound I get the following popup:
Error: android.content.ActivityNotFoundException: No Activity found to handle intent { act=android.intent.action.RINGTONE_PICKER (has extras) }.
I wasn't able to find a working solution through google. I tried clearing the cache for settings and restarting, but it didn't fix anything. I also can't use the default launcher as it just continually crashes, but the pixel launcher works fine.

I wasn't able to find a working solution through google. I tried clearing the cache for settings and restarting, but it didn't fix anything. I also can't use the default launcher as it just continually crashes, but the pixel launcher works fine.

hmmm. i'll take a look. tbh i restored stock like a week back to get updated libs and then my ISP was having all types of issues , one thing lead to another. blah blah blah.. i'm back now though

does this have pocket mode? or check proximity sensor before wakeup?N im happy your back

Great ROM so far! Just got one thing to add. Anyone seeing low WiFi signal? My house isn't big at all but when I'm in the kitchen, which is about 20 ft away form the router, it'll keep switching between data and wifi because it says the signal is poor. My gf's stock pixel is at full bars in the kitchen. Any thoughts? Also, I reflashed and still same issue.

I have the T-Mobile variant on the Mint netowork, so I'm always afraid to try anything but I haven't done much research on if you can flash it to a T-Mobile device. Let me know, thanks!

I have the same phone, also went from t-mobile to mint. You have to get oneplus to unlock the bootloader, and then you can follow the flash instructions for the rom (Probably want to do the backup as well, although that wouldn't work for me). If you try it, hopefully you don't have the issues I had with notifications/ringtones.

1. First Important Step is to Backup (though depends on you if you wanna be safe or no )
2. extract the ROM.zip
3. extract the fastboot Rom installer zip (download link below)
4. take the payload.bin and copy it to input folder of payload_dumper-win64
5. run the payload_dumper.exe
6. take all the *.img files from output and paste it outer folder with adb, fastboot and etc files
For clean flash
7. reboot to fastboot, (sometimes it doesn't work from bootloader so try going 'fastboot' from recovery)
8. run ROMinstaller.bat (see NOTES below), if it get stuck try rebooting to fastboot again while script is on
9. factory reset from recovery
10. reboot
For update/dirty flash
7. authorize phone for adb while normally booted
8. run updateKEEPdata.bat (remove the flash recovery line from script or use new uploaded)
9. reboot
NOTES:
1) recovery from v2 zip seems working fine, so should not have any issues
2) If the script feels stuck or unresponsive, try pressing enter after clicking on the script window.
3) It does use pixel experience recovery for now so do not freak out
4) if dirty flash not works, clean flash should work

Installed on a OP8 Pro just to test out Visible (Verizon MVNO) carrier compatibility. Sim card is seen as "Visible" but Network Settings is grayed out and there's no other connection.
Posted mostly for the sake of others that are on the same quest as I to get off of stock rom and use Visible that may be curious.

well, this build is for oneplus 8, and not 8 pro or 8 t. I only tested it on op8 myself

Sorry, I wasn't trying to signal it wasn't going to work, but purely wanted to see if it had the Verizon / Visible compatibility included. I'm learning quite a bit about what goes into carrier configuration and realize that expecting a ROM to have compatibility with a carrier that (I believe) requires specific vendor files above and beyond the APN settings isn't really practical.
FWIW though, it did install and boot on OP8 Pro anyway, so there's that.

I see, no problem, no guarantee but I'll keep an eye out for that

I am also having problems with my Verizon sim on my op8. I can receive calls actually, just can't call someone from my end. I can only send texts if I use the Verizon messages app. Idk if it's just certain sim cards but that's what's happening for me. Hopefully this can be fixed. But overall a great build!

So your on Verizon A11 and have data/signal on this build? If it's wompy you probably just need to add correct apn's.

HHi. It is one of the few ROMs that I have not been able to detect failures. The bluetooth works well with any android compatible device. Its operation is fluid, It connects well with the car through android auto (this is not easy to find with ROMs based on aosp or similar with android 11) the battery has very good performance and is compatible with magisk and Xposed framework. Congratulations on the development and I look forward to the next update. Brilliant work. When will it be published?

How to place the virtual buttons? (Solved)
I'm using my wife's smartphone for everyday use. Working very well, I did not find any bug, unless sometimes the touch stops responding and then it is necessary to press the power button to lock and unlock and return to normal. But I was already having this bug with the original rom.

Just a question if ever you have a solution to my problem, after i install your rom it works fine i do like it.
Just that the previous games i was playing, i cant install it from google play store and some other similar store i tried multiple times checked my connection, uninstall update, clear storage, format etc but the problem still persist ..

Fixed by deleting migrate-legacy-data-obb.sh using twrp.
How?
Go to TWRP
>Advance
>File Manager
>System folder
>bin folder
>look for migrate-legacy-data-obb.sh or migrate-legacy-obb-data.sh
>Delete and reboot
If you don't see system folder, mount it first!

All worked fine until the rom installation.

Thank you for the information Hadenix. As much as I would like to upgrade my umidigi a5 pro to android 11, I'm afraid that I might not make it till the end. Would it be possible to provide a step by step tutorial on how to upgrade to android 11 as I am a newbie. Hoping for your help. Thank you

Fixed by deleting migrate-legacy-data-obb.sh using twrp.
How?
Go to TWRP
>Advance
>File Manager
>System folder
>bin folder
>look for migrate-legacy-data-obb.sh or migrate-legacy-obb-data.sh
>Delete and reboot
If you don't see system folder, mount it first!

i have the same problem, my touchscreen goes unresponsive often and i have to tap power button twice to make it react ... how did you solve it?

its a place holder still waitnig on a few things and no dirty flash is ok but its the same build as on my gdrive

This is truly the Best Rom Ever, as displayed in the launcher.
It is a pleasant surprise to see this go official so soon.
This is the smoothest Rom for our device so far, out of various Roms I have tried, yet feature rich and quite customizable too. Battery life is way better than stock too (thanks in part to Kiri kernel for that too), among various other things.
Thanks again for all your time and effort.

i would love to try this out but included kiri kernel means we need to root and flash powerhint module...unless you found a way to include this with ROM
i need to run unroot for my work app.
wish it had radioactive kernel as default.

Actually running better without the Powerhint module...
Give it a try..im also running unrooted

Question, the phone vibrates every time is locked, in my pocket and on movement (like walking). Very short vibrations like when the phone gets unlocked. When it is standing still, it does not happen. Why is it happening?. Running crDroid 9.3.

U can disable verity/verification and flash radioactive or anything else u like. I root and flash mentioned above.. Running amazing.

How are you flashing? Make sure you start with fresh base flash from Google flash page with latest image. This ROM doesn't say what security patch it's based off of yet so you have to wait and see .. usually what I do, is flash factory firmware from Google flash page, plug in my phone , select disable verity and flags, flash straight thru, once it finished flashing and phone boots up, I then flash vendor boot via fastboot flash vendor_boot ( vendor location ).img once it says successful in fastboot screen in cmd I reboot to recovery, i go into update - via adb and select flash via adb - once it goes into adb mode in recovery I go on PC and run adb sideload lineagexxxx.zip and allow to flash... Takes about 3-5 minutes ... Once I get status 0 I reboot into recovery again, apply update via adb, and flash gapps , and once they complete, I reboot to system, once I see system boot up successfully, I then rebooted into recovery and sideload adb magisk. It patches the boot.img and once I get status ∅ I reboot and set up. Once I'm done setting up and land in homescreen I go into magisk and >> install >> direct install and then reboot. You will get " magisk has to do something blah blah blah, ignore the message and direct install and then reboot. Mind you this is just in case. Once it reboots I go back into magisk and see that it shows latest installed magisk version and set up from then on. You will need some of these modules , although I advise installing all the ones shown... I personally configure deny list as such in the picture... Reboot and Google pay works and cts passes. Good luck.
