POCO X3 Pro, MIUI Global 12.5.1 Stable 12.5.1.0 (RJUMIXM). No Import and Export options on my second space just showing the App settings. So unable to transfer files to/from second space. For Any suggestions? Thank you.
I have just noticed this problem with Poco X3 nfc, MIUI Global 12.0.8.0 (RJGEUXM). Received the last update on 21 June which was an Android 11 update from QJGEUXM. Looks as though Second Space was broken by the update. I guess it will remain broken until the next update.

How to install MIUI 12 onto Xiaomi devices?
Download the MIUI 12 OTA update or Recovery zip file from above.
Transfer the update zip to phone storage in the root directory. Meaning, outside every folder. If that doesn’t work, place the file in the folder ‘download_rom’.
Launch the updater app on your Xioami phone. Or go to settings > about phone > system updates.
Click on three dots on the top right corner and choose “Choose Update package”
If “Choose Update package” option desn’t show up, tap on the MIUI icon several times and check again.
Select the MIUI 12 ROM package from phone storage.
Your phone should reboot and update process will begin.
Once done, reboot to system.
Note: Don’t stop the update once started. If stopped, you will need to do the operation again right from downloading the firmware file again. This will not erase any data in your phone.
wait for eu version coming soon ?

Thanks for posting.
I returned my phone to stock by flashing the latest global fastboot image in MiFlash. My bootloader is still unlocked.
When I try, it says "Can't verify update. You're allow to flash the newest develop version published by MIUI forum from stable version only". (spelling mistake theirs).
Would I do better flashing TWRP and flashing it from there?

i think in 29 April eu version is coming ?
https://xiaomi.eu/community/threads/miui-12.55301/
I flashed it via TWRP and it worked fine. Visually, it looks the same as v11 to me.
I wonder how stable the v12 .eu betas will be. I only just got my device, so I've been flashing AOSP ROMs. I was going to go with the latest .eu, but I might wait until the first v12 beta .eu is released before I set it up.
I posted a mini review of MIUI 12 on the Whirlpool forums, so I decided to post it here, too. In a nutshell, I'm not a fan of the direction Xiaomi is taking with MIUI.

I flashed the MIUI 12 beta build from yesterday on my Mi9 Lite. While Realme made RealmeUI more stock-like than ColorOS 6 was, Xiaomi appears to be moving MIUI in the opposite direction. I didn't mind MIUI 10, but I didn't like MIUI 11 so much. MIUI 12 is worse than ColorOS 6.
These screenshots are with the display size changed from the default of 392 to 411 to make things smaller, but you'll notice that the text is still large, and very bold. If I reduce the font thickness, it reduces the overly thick headings in the various menus, but the smaller text becomes too thin.
You'll notice the quick settings have been replaced by a near full-screen control centre, which, in my opinion, is worse than any other UI available. Luckily, there's an option to disable the control centre. I've included a screenshot of this toggle.

MUI 12 Beta all Devices
Hi guys,:good:
MIUI 12 Beta for all devices in MIUI.eu posted today :fingers-crossed::laugh:
Downloading right now (globe rom version).
Anyone tried yet?
edit:
Okay, installation is done. Here are some first impressions:
- First boot took quite long, almost thought I had a bootloop.
- I needed a second reboot, as the new gestures weren't working right after reboot
- Some animations (especially sending app to background by swiping up = hombebutton) dont feel as smooth as in MIUI 11
- Instantly disabled the new control center. Honestly looks like a cheap iOS rip-off
- I couldn't find those new "planetary wallpapers" with the zoom in effect that were mentioned in some news about MIUI 12. May be that's because it's xiaomi.eu rom
- New camera UI looks quite nice
That's it for now. Will update if I find any problem etc.

Hello.
I have a question. At this point, I have xiaomi.eu stable with miui 12 installed and want to install the stock system (version miui 11.0.6.0) and in MiFlash there is an error: Antirollback is enabled or similar. I have bootloader unlocked. Asking how to get back to stock miui?
i had this problem and the "weird" solution i googled worked fro me...
put the folder you extracted from .tgz file in the desktop and name it a short word without spaces then select that folder from MiFlash then refresh and finally flash
Hi xda community,i got several questions about xiaomi MIUI, updates, cloud.... Please accept myappologies for my newbie question on xiaomi phones, and english is not my native language. sry for that.
I've block the "searching" updates with 4G but couldn't with wifi, never used wifi since several month (just my personnal usage),and yesterday had to use wifi cause had less connection with 4g. My phone is on global rom 12.0.4.0 QJKMIXM, works flawlessly, did some tweaks with adb shellto remove services i don't use or removed (different things like blocking adds...), rom is stock, bootloader is stock, no unlock...
So yesterday i received notifications for update MIUI version to 12.2.5 and notifications updates for applications systeme like carrousel.... Since month i read here and on xiaomi community people receive uptades for android 11 and got troubles, or xiaomi removed options on last MIUI so i decided to wait for a "REAL STABLE" update... I know xiaomi release updates calling them stable, but they 'r in Beta, just a nonsense in my opinion.
My several questions about :
1- Xiaomi cloud : I don't know the xiaomi cloud, does it give you a 100 % backup ? (games progress, preference on the system, contacts, pics, video..) Does it connect to the play store and download applications, games (so with new updates) or does the cloud saves your apps at a definite time. Does your games progress are saved too ?
2- Does the cloud, backup, if you use it, keep your adb shell tweaking ?
3- Is there a way to remove the notification on the phone menu for the updates on MIUI and systeme apps.
4- Can you updates systeme application (like carroussel...) without updating the MIUI 12.2.5 or i can have bugs. Are they inseparable.
5- I have read but i'm not sure,on MIUI 12.2.5 xiaomi removed the possibility to block the sensors (developper options, and the toggle on & off sensors add in shortcuts), is it true.
Thx for all your help, and sry again for my newbie questions.
the option you want to change is solved only by modding answer with this tool:

Xiaomi cloud is not necessary, when backup needed I connect to my desktop PC to move the files
When i was asking about xiaomi cloud, i refer to my old LG viewty witch in the past has a software and back up toolto save and back the entire rom, like a windows back up, image, restore point.Or like my iphone 4 with itunes,i could untirely back up everything on my iphone, as an image system. I read but not sure that xiaomi clouds could do it....
( Of course i can make a back up of files with usb but wanted to know,or search for an "image" back up of my Poco F2pro. )

options:
from the phone
1 / Xiaomi cloud
2 / backup on pc
but if you change rom sometimes the backup is not recognized.
With the pc:
3 / use MI PC Suite
https://c.mi.com/thread-2656146-1-0.html
the backup will work all the time but some application will not work (maps, google messages, bank ...).
With backups 1 and 3 you will recover 100% sure:
SMS, mms, call history, call recording.

1- Do you know if with Mi PCSuite if you use it, keep your adb shell tweaking ? When you put your previous backup ...
2 - I didn't update my phone since Oct 2020, stick on 12.0.4 s many bugs report everywhere on the net. Do you know if i can updates system app ( got the notification for updates for both,Version MIUI & Apps System ) without updating the MIUI version 12.2.5 or i can have bugs. Are they inseparable.
Mi pc suite backup only:
photos,sms,mms,audio,thémes,call history,recordind calls,apps,contacts,video,documents,
black list,security,weather,settings,phone settings,clock,aod,app laucher.
No choice for the update. But after any update, it is best to reset the phone .Stock roms have bugs.
Unlock the bootloader then you will be free to install any roms(stock, beta, aosp,eu).
Hello.
Every time I've change my phone I've the same problem.
At the new phone I recover the configuration and app's from the cloud backup of the old phone.
That's right, but I can't recover the screen icons and folders of the old phone to be equal at the new phone.
Is there an app or xiaomi utility to clone this icons from the old phone to the new.
It's hard to do manually.
Maybe some backup app do it.
My old phone redmi note9S miui 12.5.4 and android 11
My new phone poco x4 Pro 5g miui 13.0.3 and android 11
Thanks.
Hi all,
I bought two Xiaomi Poco devices.
1x. Poco F3 8GB / 256GB in White for my self €230,-.
1x. Poco X3 Pro 8GB / 256GB in black for my wife €140,-
Both of them are Second Hand, with the fluctuation right now ist not easy.
For me the unlock is still 72h remaining. And for my wifes X3 pro, i did IT Yesterday and so therefore 160H remaining.
In that that time, i have time to think about what Software (custom Rom) to Install for my device as also for my wife.
We are living in Europe (Germany) so Banking Apps we Need to use.
What are great Roms?
- when i Type in Google searchengine "best custom Rom for Xiaomi"
I got a lot of those Websites Promoted by Google etc.
But in Most cases:
- Lineageos
- Pixelexperience
- Crdroid
- Paradroid Rom.
Are the biggest ones.
1. For me, i Like the xiaomi.eu, because it haves in my opinio the best intergrated File Explorer build in. And ist maintained very wel. But ITs MIUI based, Not loving that.
2. The File Explorer of PE what IS uploading all Files to the Cloud Not the best one for me.
3. Lineageos is Default, Not that advanced as the Xiaomi one. I know that Xiaomi haves the Applikations available in Playstore. But IT never works as when IT IS Intergrated in to the system.
Crdroid and Paradroid never Used those.
Maybe to Check as Well?
For my wife, the PE will BE the best solution. With Gapps included.
Just a extra question.
Does PE Supports "dual Apps" because that is a Feature we use on a Frequent Basic at the Moment
So my choice is made, i have installed the LineageOS with MindTheGapps Android12 package.
Up till now it works fine, only the strange part with Partition A & B, it installed on the B partition.
But each time when i try to install something via TWRP like SafteyNet it says ''unable to load or install TWRP/Media'' something. But at the end it is installed, is this something what can go wrong, or to install it again the complete LINEAGEOS??ß
