Greetings,
I have looked on the internet to resolve this issue. It is very troubling. The 3 dots that should be in the upper right corner are gone.
I also noticed that when connected to my hot spot via laptop the SSID shows Samsung Galaxy Note10+ 6806 and not Note 20 ultra.
This phone is from Tmobile and is locked.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thank you,
Jeff

Hotspot is enabled, you can see its icon at the top. Add mobile hotspot button via Edit button option and it will reveal additional settings.

Thank you so much. I already have the button for the hot spot. There just is no settings option anywhere to edit password. The three dots that are usually in the top right corner when in the hot spot window is missing. If you look in the attached image there is no settings option anywhere.
tap on the Mobile hotspot wording on your button when seen on notification panel

Thank you for your patience and your replies. It seems I had to turn off wifi and hot spot sharing to access the settings.

Grace and peace to you

Two questions for the group here.
1) Is there a way to set what will launch when I insert the Note 10.1 into a dock? Right now it launches TuneIn Radio and I would prefer it does nothing. As was suggested to me on G+, I went into Settings -> Apps and checked TuneIn Radio to clear its Defaults. Unfortunately it was grey'd out. So that path was a no go. Any other ideas?
2) What icon is this in this picture and how do I get rid of it? I've rebooted, cleared notifications, etc. and can't get rid of it. Thoughts?

I can't help on the first question, sorry. But the icon you're asking about tells you that you've turned off information messages. Tap the clock to get the pop-up menu. In the area where you can turn on/off Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, etc., you'll see an option to turn "Notification" on/off, with the same "i" icon. Turn that on and the icon you reference will go away.

I just realized the irony that Samsung included a permanent notification to tell you that you have chosen not to have notifications.:cyclops:

There is no Dotted Buttons. Please Give me some solution
Please respond this I'll surely give you more reps :good:
I think that when you have a hardware menu key the app detects this and doesn't display the 3 dotted menu button (since there would be no need if you have a hardware one)
If you are rooted, may I suggest button savior: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=865525
It does work without root, but I'm not sure if the menu button is supported, you'd need to try and see

Not that I know of. If you are not rooted then there won't really be much you can do
If you are rooted take a look at LMT launcher: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1330150
Both these apps won't add the 3 dotted menu in but act as a hovering app that will allow you to use a different method to function as the menu button.

Ok,I'll root my Mobile and try that.
Hi,
I've just bought a used OPO from a friend and have a couple of doubts in how to customize some functions..
How can I customize buttons to reverse long press home for recent apps and long press menu for google?
How can I remove phone from lock screen?
Can I remove google bar from recent apps?
Probably I'll have some more doubts later on, but I'd already be happy with these answers I couldn't find myself on Google.
Thanks.:good:

Search bar is disabled in home but not in recent apps.
This is what I mean by phone in lock screen.
Thanks.
in about phone, turn on advanced mode, the options should be available in buttons. you can customise your lockscreen in settings.
It worked!! Thank you so much! I was also able to remove recent apps search bar in display settings.
no problem
One more question if you don't mind.. Why can't I select same wallpaper image for home and lock screen? I can select and adjust home wallpaper position to where I want, but lock screen I only found option in themes but doesn't allow adjustment.
In my nexus and Samsungs I usually went to Gallery select image and clicked "Set as Wallpaper" - Home and Lock Screen", but in OPO this option is not available..
Thanks.
Hi all
Got my Note 20 Ultra this morning, come back to Samsung after moving to Huawei a few years ago.
Something really bugging me is no emoji key on the samsung keyboard ?
Am I missing something or is how it is now ?
While messing with keyboard settings the other day I saw an option to turn on bitmoji stuff giphy stuff and possibly Emoji I don't remember where but it's in settings somewhere under language and input

If the toolbar is missing, go into the keyboard settings and turn it on.

Samsung keyboard hasn't had this for a few years.
If you turn the toolbar off, to get emojis, you hold down the comma key and choose the emoji icon froma list of icons.

Hang on, I just found how to do it for you :silly:
I use GBoard so I didn't know...but I've just found it while going through it. It's all tucked away. You turn off the toolbar in keyboard settings. Then long press the comma, and choose the emoji icon. This sets that left key as the emoji key. It just means that to get a comma, you need to long press theperiod key.
My t-mobile velvet 5g screen goes to muli-colors when I'm on a call. anyone know of some setting that may cause this?
thank you!
Maybe a screen shot?
Lol, for Samsung's that's normal operation

Wtf? It looks like a wallpaper...
Maybe something to do with wallpapers or themes? Any wallpaper apps loaded?
Try in safe mode.
no wallpaper apps. I'll try setting a different theme, but I'm sure it's the default theme.
I'll google safe mode and try that. thank you for your help. I thought someone might recognize this as a setting.
I found the setting that was causing the problem. searching "screensaver" in settings found a selection for screensaver when docked or charging. I changed it to "none".
thanks for your reply!

Yay! Lol, Samsung's are notorious for their hidden settings. Sometimes in plain sight but others required a double tap on unmarked menu items
edit: I'm aware it's an LG. Koreans are sort of krazy in general... look at their graffiti
