I have a Mate 9 C432 European version.
I install Oreo through Firmware Finder, so I have right now B363.
Through Firmware Finder I can see that the Firmware version is on B367, but newer software is not approved, and the phone always says that I have the last version of software.
I'm still on January security patch.
Is this normal? How can I update to a new version, B367 for example? The C432 officially it's still on January security patch?
You have to wait for Huawei to approve your IMEI number or use the HWOTA8 method. I would wait a bit and see what happens.
I have the same device. Yesterday I received OTA 364 - log states update due to Google system security. I'm now on February Android security patch level.
Same situation here with c432 b363. So much for Treble giving us quick security updates.
364 is not approved for me yet.
364 to 367 is not approved.... It's sad that Oreo was a quick update for a skin device like the Mate 9 but security patch, that is pretty important...
I know I could use FunkyHuawei...
Just got 364 w/ February 5 security update. Just 119Mb upgrade from 363.
My Oreo is still 8.0.0.342.

This website below will help you to get updated to the March 2018 update B366 firmware. This worked for me. Would advise using Method 2.

Welcome to XDA......
I got 364 a few days ago as well. New firmware that get approved for mass release usually take around a month before Huawei gets confident about approving them.
Just got the B364. The importance of the security patch is to get them monthly but February patch is better then nothing.
Yeah, got the B364 too. It surely is better than no updates, I'm personally okay with this update pace; security updates a month late isn't too bad.
Installed 8.0.0.364 yesterday via FF in-app proxy. FF is already showing 8.0.0.368 but no approved so far.
But will be approve?
Installed 8.0.0.342(C00) via OTA several days ago.
Is there anyone having security update on TA-1062 ?. I have not received any more update since may security update.
I'm on the August patch on my TA-1062. Could it be an issue with your carrier? Have you tried using a VPN to check for updates?
Which country vpn i should try ?
Anyways I have done the update manually using ADB.
hi
someone has try this update ?
What is the change ?
Thx
It's just a Security update. December patch.
+1. Did the update 2 days ago. Just the December security patch.
I updated to 158,in Firmware Finder shows 165 and Android 9
Sorry to hijack your thread, the pie update that's available it states compatibility of the firmware not approved for installation, would it be safe to update without bricking my phone or should I just wait for the official OTA?

It will be to much problem for you that you upload the stock recovery of 158,thanks in advance.
Hi
I received a 7.1mb update which I assume is the zeroday bug fix. Surely an update this small wouldn't contain the other fixes mentioned in the android security bulletin?
Also I've noticed My system version is 6 October but the Google play system update says 1 September. Anyone else have this?
Cheers for your help guys!
Well I checked for a Google play system update in the security settings and it has just updated to 1st October from September 1st.
