hi
someone has try this update ?
What is the change ?
Thx
It's just a Security update. December patch.
+1. Did the update 2 days ago. Just the December security patch.
I updated to 158,in Firmware Finder shows 165 and Android 9
Sorry to hijack your thread, the pie update that's available it states compatibility of the firmware not approved for installation, would it be safe to update without bricking my phone or should I just wait for the official OTA?

I had an update today (UK) that I was expecting to be the update to Nougat/EMUI 5, but it was just an update to EMUI 4.1.3. Does this mean the Nougat update is delayed further?

Did you try using the firmware finder? Pretty sure the initial build of nougat is rolling out. Try using it and maybe see if theres an EMUI 5 package in there

I got 4.1.3. update earlier this month. Nougat has been realeased but Honor on his FB page says it won't be available to all 6X at a once, so we must wait if we want update OTA.

I received the emui 5.0 update about 2 days ago (US)
Maybe it will function as a pre-update, in a few days, you can receive the official N.
Same situation here. Was on BLN-L21C432B130 (phone bought in Czech Republic) and got notification from OTA that there is update to B151 available. Didn't manage to update though, i guess the TWRP was interfering. But made the update through HiSuite.
Update replaced TWRP with stock recovery (and obviously root is gone) but kept the bootloader unlocked. Will leave it like that for a few days just to see what will happen next. Hope the Android 7.0 update (B360?) is coming soon to my phone. If not, manual update is always a solution...
Same here in the netherlands. I updated via firmware finder to BLN-L21C432B151 on april 1st. Still no B360 via Updater.
Update: Got B360 yesterday through OTA. Looks like B151 was only pre-update afterall I believe you'll recieve it soon.
No way ! You're on a island. Can't stand it
* never mind; Czech Republic instead of UK *
So its 7th of June and No update.....Is this the way they're rolling out the update??.

I was talking to Honor support and they told me the nougat update is delayed as the initial update they released in May for few builds had users experiencing issues. Per them "Huawei is commited to resolving issues and they said we should expect the update in June".. Not sure how true they would stand on their promise..
I got it today (netherlands).
Still no menu button in the bottom launcher. [edit: it's in the settings].

Hello everyone, my question is how much delay Firmware Finder to authorize updates? Since end of December I figure Oreo for my C185 and for now is still not authorized for installation

About month for normal updates.
There can be updates which never released by Huawei. Don't know why Huawei posts them on to HiCloud.
P.s. Migration to Oreo is not normal update.
It is too hard to determine what update is truly normal, cause Huawei rules FUT program and no info what region finished beta and went to release.
Simply, If you read that someone received update via settings/system update -> fact of release.

But this place is to help others not to give them wrong direction....
I don't mean to hurt your intention, just want to make you remember that why you were here, and whats your responsibilities.
Just be with that, never misguide or make something which is not good for others

But what i wanted to tell you is, dont make oreo firmware with beta package, wait for official
Once official will be available
Then make the official firmware with that
I hope you get my point

According to target build version, you can go with it but i still prefer to go with full up to date security patch updates
Update your device till February and then install, its most secure way to update, else you can give a try
Problemm with Nokia 3 Oreo beta OTA
I tried to upgrade to Android 8.0 via TWPR (Nokia 3 Oreo beta OTA).
The phone will not start any more. The screen is black. From time to time the phone vibrates briefly.*I took off the back cover and turned off the battery.
*I turn on, connect to the computer (in the hope of returning the phone to life using OST), but OST does not recognize the phone -it turns on and off again, and so on in a circle. The computer gives a signal to connect the USB device and to disconnect it. Is it still possible to return the bodies to life? What can be done? Thank you

I tried, but the program does not recognize or can not recognize the phone. It constantly turns on and off. Black screen. Vibrates approximately every 25 seconds.
I have a Mate 9 C432 European version.
I install Oreo through Firmware Finder, so I have right now B363.
Through Firmware Finder I can see that the Firmware version is on B367, but newer software is not approved, and the phone always says that I have the last version of software.
I'm still on January security patch.
Is this normal? How can I update to a new version, B367 for example? The C432 officially it's still on January security patch?
You have to wait for Huawei to approve your IMEI number or use the HWOTA8 method. I would wait a bit and see what happens.
I have the same device. Yesterday I received OTA 364 - log states update due to Google system security. I'm now on February Android security patch level.
Same situation here with c432 b363. So much for Treble giving us quick security updates.
364 is not approved for me yet.
364 to 367 is not approved.... It's sad that Oreo was a quick update for a skin device like the Mate 9 but security patch, that is pretty important...
I know I could use FunkyHuawei...
Just got 364 w/ February 5 security update. Just 119Mb upgrade from 363.
My Oreo is still 8.0.0.342.

Welcome to XDA......
I got 364 a few days ago as well. New firmware that get approved for mass release usually take around a month before Huawei gets confident about approving them.
Just got the B364. The importance of the security patch is to get them monthly but February patch is better then nothing.
Yeah, got the B364 too. It surely is better than no updates, I'm personally okay with this update pace; security updates a month late isn't too bad.
Installed 8.0.0.364 yesterday via FF in-app proxy. FF is already showing 8.0.0.368 but no approved so far.
But will be approve?
Installed 8.0.0.342(C00) via OTA several days ago.
So I rooted my phone a few months ago and I got bored and unrooted it. But after that I stopped getting OTA updates. My last security patch is Sept. 1 2018. Can someone explain this to me and help me atleast?
