Question Having problems receiving text messages - Samsung Galaxy A32 5G

Hello everyone,
My Samsung Galaxy A32 5G phone does not receive any text messages from any of my contacts. It does, however, receive text messages from T-Mobile. I put a different sim card in this phone and the result was the same. I also purchased another Galaxy A32 phone and it also fails to receive text messages that my friends and relatives send me. If I remove the sim card from the Galaxy A32 and put it in my old phone (Moto X4), then the text messages go through.
Does anybody have any idea of what might be happening here? I tried switching sim cards, resetting network settings, restoring factory defaults, and changing APN settings, but to no avail.

Have you try a different messaging app to see if that resolves the issue?

Did you disable RCS if you had it enabled on the X4?

Thank you for the replies.

I never had it enabled.
I am now noticing a pattern - my Samsung A32 5G phones appear to not receive text messages from older phones only, such as Samsung Galaxy 6, Moto X4, Nokia 6.1, LG Journey LTE, etc. Both Galaxy A32 phones have no problems receiving text messages from iPhone 12, OnePlus 9, and T-Mobile.

MMS download unsuccessful

The general problem that I'm having is that MMS messages won't download with the error message: Download of message... was unsuccessful.
Here's some background:
I am using Straight Talk. When I first ported my number over, I had a Verizon Samsung Galaxy Proclaim (CDMA). I used that phone for over a year with no problems downloading MMS messages. Then, I ported my number to a Verizon Samsung Galaxy S3 (micro SIM - GSM using AT&T network) and didn't have any problems with that phone downloading MMS messages either. I broke the screen of that phone and ported my number back over to the Proclaim, but I can't remember if I was able to download MMS messages or not. Then, I bought a Sprint Samsung Galaxy S3 off of ebay that was flashed with a Verizon MEID. I am not sure what that really means or what type of files were used to flash that phone. I can probably get that information from the seller if needed. Anyways, when I tried to use the last phone, I lost MMS downloading capability. I can send MMS messages fine. I can also receive them, but I cannot download them. In attempt to save the sale, the seller then flashed my number onto another Sprint Samsung Galaxy S3 and that phone also didn't have MMS downloading capability. So, I ported my number back from the second Sprint Samsung Galaxy S3 to my Proclaim. After all of that, I have now lost the ability to download MMS messages on this phone which has always worked for me.
I have read a ton of forums and done everything I can to troubleshoot. I have unchecked "auto-retrieve". I have wiped my phone and SD card, but nothing is working. I have an escalated ticket in with Straight Talk, but in dealing with them in the past, I have little faith that they will be able to fix the problem. From what I have read, the problem I am running into seems to be Sprint related.
Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

[Q] SMS receives but fails to send. Swap SIM and it works.

Background: I bought an S6 three weeks ago, and swapped SIM cards with an iPhone 6. Both phones are on AT&T. Everything worked fine.
So my configuration was:
iPhone 6: New SIM
S6: Old SIM
This weekend, my S6 decided to stop sending SMS. I still continue to receive text messages, but cannot reply. I get an error 'Failure to send'. Factory reset did not help.
I swapped the SIM cards back, and both phones work as expected. To be clear, the S6 with my new SIM card is able to send SMS.
What could possibly be wrong? It seems like something with my account.
TIA...

[Completed] Imported Axon Mini can only send and receive MMS or Pictures on Wifi. Not on ATT Data

I have an Axon Mini imported into the US running on AT&T. I had to get a new sim card since my Lg G3 sim card was too big. When I went to the att store, he set my APN settings and no text messaging worked at all. People sent me messages, but nothing came through. So, I went through and added my APN settings from my Tmobile LG G3 running on AT&T. I can now receive messages, but when I receive images it says there was an error downloading and the same issue when trying to send. When I get on Wifi it works fine and I can download the older messages. I have attached screens of all my settings. Since this is my first dual sim phone, I was wondering if I did anything wrong?

Unable to send group messages on the Note 8

Today I started having issues sending group messages on my Note 8. I've reset the network, got a new SIM card and finally reset the phone. It still doesn't work. Anyone else having this problem?
I did when i first got mine. Possibly APN settings. Somehow mine changed and excluded mms and a few others in the APN type.

Weird issue can not recieve text messages

Ok so my p40 pro arrived today and i put my sim card in (using straight talk byop at&t sim). i can make calls and use data , i can also send text messages. but the phone will not receive any text messages.
so far i've did the following
factory reset the phone
reset network settings
tried manually entering APN settings
i even tried using Textra
None have worked, whats weird is i got rid of my Mate 30 pro last week and texting worked fine on that phone. Anyone have any suggestions that may help fix the issue?
Ok so i figured out the issue ,and thought id post it here in case anyone has the issue and gets frustrated not being able to receive messages .
so apparently now you have to treat google messages like apples iMessage. you have to "diasble" chat features on google messages before switching sim into a phone that doesn't support google messages natively. i wasn't aware of this needing to be done especially since i had a mate 30 pro 2 weeks ago that i stuck my sim in and it worked perfectly with texting.
so just a heads up if anyone has this same issue like i did.
I imagine the network message settings are wrong, here in the UK they have outgoing and incoming settings, I would compare the message service number from your old handset
