This is a full Samsung experience port with android version 8.1

there might be some bugs that me and testers could not have found yet. so please report them.
I have also included pretty much Tweaks for better performance ;P
As the nature of these ports go, it was a non stop battle for almost 1 weeks straight to get it to this point where all features are working as expected. if you appreacite this work Hit the Thanks button, and consider a donation
RULES OF POSTING : READ everything before commenting, And especially the instlal steps, the rom has been tested throughly for a long time, so if you have an critical issue like not booting or no sim, you missed the instructions, posts that are irrelevant to this project will be ignored(Constructive criticism is welcomed). flash twrp as per given instructions
Once in twrp flash multi-disabler
format data
wipe cache dalvink system
flash LineageOS
If you want to have gapps flash them right after flashing the rom before first booting
Install addonsu if you want root (make sure system is not mounted before flashing addonsu)
Reboot the device
If you are updating from previous release just flash the rom on top of old one and wipe cache/dalvik(art) cache

Note10+ and Note10+ 5G builds were both tested, Note10 build is untested but should work just fine,
For kernel source master branch is used on Note10+ 5g while d2s branch is used on Note10 and Note10+
Fingerprint sensor works just fine but you have to locate it yourself (Its right above navbar near the middle of it), I will add icon to indicate its position soon
Q builds are coming really soon, I wanted to make sure there was no regression compared to s10 series first so i made pie builds first to compare functionality

Bootlooping on SM-N970F, did a clear wipe.

Ivan, that's more than fantastic news! Having LOS17 is even better, guess you're king here for now, as NOTE 10 plus is the best device to own right now.
Question: will FBE encryption ever work with AOSP builds like yours on S10/N10 or it is simply not possible to implement it (now or in the future) due to custom Samsung implementation? I understand we are relying on Samsung kernel and it's sources here, so this can be real showstopper.
Please add its status to working/not working department with some update what's required for it to work so users are informed before going flash process.

it actually does fully work but iirc twrp for note10 doesnt support it so while system would be just fine with it and you could use it you would have to flash updates from sdcard, you can edit multidisabler and tell it not to remove encryption line from fstab, or just add back encryption to userdata back in fstab entry

I've been through S10 threads and is filled with user experiences not being able to make it work. I might still give it a shot on N10.

In case anyone was wondering if it'll work with the very latest Note 10+ 5G Firmware I just flashed it and seems to be working without issue . (not N976BXXU1ASHE)
Edit: Fingerprint enrolment doesn't work.
2nd edit: Got it working - I had to hold my fingerprint down for a good while the first go.

If not encrypted why the need for fingerprint when I can just enter the recovery to grab all your data from your phone and remove protection?

I need N975F (Note10+) N975FXXU1ASJ2 (Oct update),
however I currently have N975F (Note10+) N975FXXS1ASJ2 (Nov update)
Is my first step to roll this back to OCT (is that even possible/recommended) or sit and wait for LineageOS to "catch up" and in the mean time stop future phone updates?

I followed the process and successfully installed Lineage. After booting into system, found that root was still not showing. So rebooted phone. Now phone is just stuck at the Lineage logo booting screen, unable to go into recovery too, tried all key combinations. Please help

In some phone variants, the rom could be a bit laggy while opening apps. Try cleaning dalvik&cache
Face recognition doesn't work
Updating camera app through Samsung app store will break it
Light in capacitive buttons for those devices with hardware buttons
Some 3rd camera apps like footej or whatsapp video calls don't work (this bug is only present in the A3, J7 2016 and J7 Prime). Use whatsapp business as workaround
FM Radio could be bugged too for phones different than the A3
Other inherent bugs from OneUI and/or 7870 limitation

All S-PEN features have been removed, don't ask for them!
In some phone variants, the rom could be a bit laggy while opening apps. Try cleaning dalvik&cache
Face recognition doesn't work
Updating camera app through Samsung app store will break it
Light in capacitive buttons for those devices with hardware buttons
Some 3rd camera apps like footej or whatsapp video calls don't work (this bug is only present in the A3, J7 2016 and J7 Prime). Use whatsapp business as workaround
FM Radio could be bugged too for phones different than the A3
Other inherent bugs from OneUI and/or 7870 limitation

INSTALLATION
Vendor partition is required
You need a 4gb system partition, so flash my repartition script if you dont have it
Wipe system, data (clean install mandatory), vendor, dalvik&cache and cache
Flash rom zip
Reboot
After inital setup, leave the rom to settle for a while

I've been using the rom since August. Last few weeks I noticed a quite Bluetooth latency issues which I never experience on other roms. Please check if my hunch is correct. Thank you. P.S. Can someone knows how to save the settings on Developer mode? every time I configure something specially the bluetooth codec it resets after I exit the options.

thanks for this ROM, I have been able to test OneUI 2.5 on my J7 Nxt so it has been in a short time since it is very lagued, but it was great to have tried the new version of OneUI

HOW TO INSTALL:
Download the ROM.zip
Go to https://orangefox.download and download an appropriate version of OrangeFox Recovery R11, it must be R11 and not R11.0-1!
Install the recovery as how you would
Flash Create partition if you haven't done it or repartition before
Wipe Cache, Dalvik/Cache, System, Vendor, Data
Flash the ROM and bloats file if you want extra stuff, wait and reboot to system
After 2 minutes, force reset your phone by holding down Power+VolDown until it reboots
Wait, setup and enjoy!
Note: Flash your own root, Magisk is not included

You can use TWRP 3.4 and up as an alternative, but keep in mind that any OrangeFox thats not R11 won't work
