INSTRUCTIONS
First time installing CyanogenMod 13.0 to your Xiaomi Mi4:
Read the official Wiki page
Unlock your bootloader if you haven't done so already
Flash a custom recovery via Fastboot
Push GApps (arm) and the CM 13.0 zip to your device
Boot into Recovery
Perform factory reset
Flash the CM 13.0 zip from SD card
Flash GApps from SD card
Reboot (be patient, "optimizing apps" takes a while)
Upgrading from earlier version of CyanogenMod:
Push the new CM 13.0 zip to your SD card
Boot into Recovery
Flash the CM 13.0 zip from SD card
Flash the most recent GApps for Marshmallow if you are upgrading from 12.1

I get error 7 while flashing this rom, what does it mean?
Read what the recovery says: "You're running on an unsupported (Kitkat) baseband". In order to flash the lastest CM builds you must have Miui MM baseband and partition layout installed. Visit http://bit.ly/cancroCMBaseband to learn how to update these
Does this rom work with Mi4 LTE?
This rom does not support the LTE variant of mi4, however you can flash it, but expect no support and more bugs compared to those who have the same rom on non-lte mi4. If you flash this rom on your Mi4, DO NOT report any issue you encounter

First of all do not flash any supersu/superuser/superman zip package to get root. Go to Settings>Developement Settings>Root access and select "Apps Only"

When do I have to wipe data?
You must wipe data only when you're switching from another rom or migrating to Snapshot branch from Nightly and vice versa. You don't need to wipe data when you update in the same release channel. This applies to 12.1 -> 13.0 too

Because this is CyanogenMod

i have cm13 now and recovery cm-13.0-20151225-NIGHTLY-cancro-recovery and cant install gapps.. open_gapps-arm-6.0-micro-20151212 . i use apple update emulator and i choice file and i hae error..
Ok. I installed CWM_recovery_r11_u1_cancro and changed partition size. Next TWRP-v2.8.7.0-cancro-20150621 and install cm and gapps and now work good
-Fc in sounds settings-> another sounds-> uncheck option and go back then fc
-Dont work mobile internet! Auto, manual, 3g 2g..
Work if enable in do development option still have mobile internet on
-Dont work mms

Does "NO Mi4 LTE SUPPORT!" mean that this ROM doesn't work at all (brick) or that if I have Mi4 LTE specific bugs I cannot complain here?

Sensors not working
I checked with sensor box the temperature and gyroscope isnt working and also the mac address did change every time i flash CM 12.1 and now CM 13 official both of them had this bugs any way to fix them?

Battery charge dont work good.... Too slowly charging!! On miui i can play GC and battery charging up, but on cm when i play gc battery only down lvl... I must leave this rom

Now that MiUI based on 6.0 is out, shouldn't the blobs from that rom fix some of the driver issues? Or do we have to wait till Xiaomi updates cancro's sources to MM branch?
Anyway kudos to you @linuxxxx for cooking an almost perfect LP/MM rom out of KK sources.

i have charging problem . it takes up to 4 hours to complete charging if this problem resolved i have no problem using this GREAT rom i think power usage of android os is above normal compared to CM12.1
is there any kernel to flash on CM13 ? flashing another kernel may fix these broblems

It generally takes a while to completely implement QC Quickcharge in source built roms. Wait for a few days. Hopefully all these minor bugs will get squashed in the coming month or so. New proprietary MM blobs have already been added according to the commits. Therefore almost stable builds should start flowing in any time now.

Bugs with the latest update
Dear team ,
A major bug is effecting the usage of the rom as a daily driver . in the cellular network section where we select preferred network type it is stuck to LTE and unable to change it to 3g . Since the handset Mi4w does not support LTE band and hence the internet is stuck at 2g network only resulting in network issues .
Another bug is that cynogenmod team needs to split the mi3w and mi4w packages separately . reason in the latest update if you notice in the bluetooth section i am seeing mi3w where as i am using a mi4w .
kindly make the necessary changes mainly in the network section please

please do something do that duplicate contacts while using whatsapp.

Thanks for the report. I really hope one day LTE-CU/CT users will have a real alternative to MIUI.

All Sensors Disappeared after flashing CM 13 19-01-2016 BUILD
Every time when i flash CM 13, CPU-X show that there are no sensors available in my MI 4,
EDIT: I was able to fix this problem by following this Guide --> Solve-sensors-problems-xiaomi-mi-4
But now GYROSCOPE is not working, please suggest me any workaround for this problem.

First I notice an error in my phone (second revision), the mobile network falls at every moment (both 4g and 3g).

For getting it working right, i had to remove the Sim-Card during the first bootup. Otherwise it gets stuck on the PIN-Input.
This just occurs after the installation of the GApps.
(I tried first to get ROOT with SuperSU 2.82 and 2.79. This does not work. Only magisk worked fine (v14.5 beta)).
When i try to reboot my device with the Pop-Up Shutdownmenu, it just gets stuck and i have to turn down my device with long-pressing the shutdownbutton.

Mobile Network failes every few minutes

Wonderful upgrade Oreo 8.0.0 + open gapps pico + magisk 14.0, after wipe and format f2fs cache and data. Metal Rev1 Oct 2016 much faster now!
Small issue so far running for 3 days : unable to connect LTE at boot. I have to connect sequentially 3G first then LTE each time data connexion is lost.
This issue has been reported earlier with 7.1.1 upgrade

There is a problem in the USB connection to the computer, it connects and disconnects then I have this same problem with this [ROM] [7.1.1 | 7.1.2] Official madOS - Ulefone Metal [MT6753] and tabem with [ROM] [8.0.0] Official madOS - Ulefone Metal [MT6753], with the original Rom it does not have this problem.
Other problems I found in [ROM] [8.0.0] Official madOS - Ulefone Metal [MT6753] was this: ViPER4Android FX (2.5.0.5) v2.2 does not function, the root I installed SuperSU v2.82 SR5 2017 10 01 224502 the cell phone came in bootloop, out of this problems I had, all other functions works perfectly.

- Still have some kind of lines displayed on the left side screen in some app like Instagram
- Battery : yesterday mobile shutdown at 40% of battery, and battery is discharging quickly 40% in 4 hours (without using phone SIM still out of order)

With 4 different arm64 ab gsi i tried with this vendor -
WiFi doesn't work,
Constant reboots after flashing gapps.
Does it work with arm64 aonly gsi ?

This Vendor is "Overclocked" so the CPU increases its theoretical power to 1.8GHz, when the J600G has a real power of 1.6GHz
The solution is to modify the kernel and reduce the theoretical potential to its real potential

Every time I try this I get stuck in dowload mode if I try to boot up system. Do I have to be on stock for this to work?
UPDATE: With the android 11 gsi i got to the boot animation, but it didnt boot either.

Make sure you have latest OrangeFox Recovery installed.
Make sure you have atleast 50% charge

Flash create-vendor if you haven't already
Do a FULL wipe (system, vendor, data, cache, dalvik), and preferably internal storage if you're on stock
Flash the rom zip
After the boot animation is on for 15~20 Seconds. Hold VolumeDown+power until the device reboots
To root, flash Magisk after a successful boot
IrisScanner / Faceunlock does not work

I installed successfully, but the device does not restart, it is in a loop in download mode!

i installed and use rom for about 2 days ,Thanks for stable and better rom ,but have a problem when i intalled for first time and boot it says optimizing apps and take about 30+min i says this is first time booting maybe longer,but i realized that when ever i clear dalvik cache it got again and make cache for all apps,this take about 2.0+ GB of additional storage on my device and take longer to boot
:Finally words can you fix making dalvik cache on boot of apps
or any script that do this ?

Install latest TWRP (https://github.com/samsungexynos7870/android_device_samsung_j7velte/releases )not orange fox recovery and and then install this rom.

One of the best roms. You can use universal7870_repartitioner To decrease the size of the system and increase the user date?

Hello I want to download the YumiOS ROM, but I get a warning "You need access" in google drive it seems that the links are not shared, you have to activate "Link sharing on" I hope you solve it, thanks. ✌

Alright, I was busy and not being able to use XDA for a while.
Download links for YumiOS are all unavailable, and returning "request access to continue" since Feb. It's because Google had disabled my account used for storing YumiOS files for downloads. This made me lost around 900GB of data stored inside there. It was a big loss...
Development of YumiOS had been stopped already for months, and I've no point of doing it for a bad community like this anymore.
So...
YumiOS is now EOL. This means no more updates, further support for it. My Telegram channel/group had been sold to another developer, hopefully he will work better.
Let's wish him luck, and I want to say thank you for using YumiOS!

HOW TO INSTALL:
Download the ROM.zip
Go to https://orangefox.download and download an appropriate version of OrangeFox Recovery R11, it must be R11 and not R11.0-1!
Install the recovery as how you would
Flash Create partition if you haven't done it or repartition before
Wipe Cache, Dalvik/Cache, System, Vendor, Data
Flash the ROM and bloats file if you want extra stuff, wait and reboot to system
After 2 minutes, force reset your phone by holding down Power+VolDown until it reboots
Wait, setup and enjoy!
Note: Flash your own root, Magisk is not included

It depends on your country and your device's CSC - Countries Specific Code. If it doesn't work on your CSC then you can change it to a country with VoLTE support in efs/imei/mps_code.dat, I suggest INS (India)

Hello sir, also after installing that rom It has a problem to recognize my CSC. so I followed this instruction, but it didn't work. I first changed a code "BTU" to "AFG" in mps_code.dat using a root explorer, and did factory data reset and rebooted, but still my phone didn't recognize my CSC. So Again I tried this time after I changed the code to "INS" you recommended to someone, BUT even it doesn't working. How can i solve this? I will attach a file soon.

"Emergency Calls Only" That sign still doesn't changed.

Just installed on J600F.
Works perfectly I was having proximity issue during calls with other Custom Rom But this works flawlessly.
I also Recommend this Rom as a Fix for TouchPad Problem after system update .
