I just saw that the note series will continue in 2022. what doyou think? I think that is a wise choice of the company to launch a new fllagship every 2 years not 1.

Can someone explain this to me?
Check the specs, besides it having ICS it's mostly a downgrade. They want to get that sweet $250 price on it to better compete with Amazon
I can explain this, buddy.
Nov 2011: I guess SGT 7.0 Plus was released this month. I pre-ordered, and bought it before its official release date by Amazon.
Jan. 2012: Samsung announced Galaxy Tab 2!!!
Feb. 2012: Samsung released Galaxy Tab 7.7 & My SGT 7.0 Plus price dropped. I paid $400 for 16GB. Now you can buy $350 for 16GB or $380 for 32GB.
IT TOOK ONLY 3 MONTH to drop their price.
I TOTALLY agreed that gadgets price will be dropped soon after its released date. But, Not within 3 month.
So, what's next? Of course, Galaxy SIII, Tab 10.1" 2, 8.9" 2, Tab 7 Plus 2, Note 2 within this year? I guess so.
It is enough to make me avoid Samsung tablets to be honest. I dont see how you can essentially replace a device within 90 days of its release.
My main question at this point is which phablet (with stylus) to purchase until the Note 6 is released in the US. I was so frustrated with Samsung when the 5 came out with a nonremoveable back and no access for microSC card. I am reading that the 6 could be released but those date show anywhere between June and August ... I just need a good phablet until that date as I already have $$$$ put back for the Note 6. I am an RN and I desperately need to be able to easily to take notes very quickly. Any idea on which I could purchase till the 6 is released.
Galaxy tab 3/4

Just bought the U11 a few days ago and the phone has been great. But, ever since I saw the debut of the Note 8, I'm really liking the phone. I still have the 30 day return option so I can possible get the Note 8 but I don't know which phone to pick. Main goal is to have a phone that will last at least more than 18 months. Which would you recommend overall?

It boil down to your priorities. What features you like, size of the phone, which processor (for non US), headphone jack etc. So my recommendation would be to make a pros and cons list and decide.
Personally i won't go with any Samsung phones.

Go with the Nite, just because you're intending to skip next year's phones.
If HTC grow with the 11 (it's a fabulous phone!) And get a handle on the hardware design (its too thick, the bezels top and bottom are to wide....) Then next year's release is going to be excellent
Or pixel xl 2?
If you have a 30 day return, why not use it... Swap it for the note 8, test it for a month, if no good, swap it back for the U11 or by that stage, look at the Pixel2 etc.
Personally I wouldn't go with samsung phone. I am glad I got rid of my note 3 and probably not going back to samsung anytime soon...
first of all you are on the u11 forum which is wrong
secondly for an honest advice I would go for the 6gb u11 not the 4gb
if you can't get the 6gb u11 then get the note
I would keep it untill Pixel XL 2 comes out...Note8 is too big
What is the best smartphone you can buy?
There are so many good phones to choose from in 2019 but which one is the king of the castle? Is there even a winner? There's no one perfect choice for everyone, so bear in mind the best phone for you might not be number one in our chart.
Phones come in all shapes, sizes and prices. Here, we have ranked and reviewed the ten best phones money can buy.
Check out where the best of 2018 like the iPhone XR, Huawei Mate 20 Pro and OnePlus 7 Pro have ended up below - and keep coming back as we add the best phones from 2019 as they are released. The Galaxy S10, Sony Xperia 1 and Mi 9 are already in there!
Just recently we've had some new flagships launch - the Galaxy Note 10 and Note 10 Plus were announced on 7 August, and the Galaxy S11 trails only six months behind. We'll be adding Note 10 to our charts when we've finished our full reviews, but in the meantime you can check out our hands-on.
Your buying guide for the best phones in 2019
When choosing a phone you should consider these things: build quality and design, ease of use, features, performance and value.
Generally speaking a flagship phone will cost between £600 and £800 but can be over £1,000 in some cases. On contract you're looking at between £30 and £50 per month on average but you can spend a lot more if you want an expensive phone and lots of mobile internet data.
We also have charts for mid-range and budget phones if you're looking for something else.
We think buying a phone outright is the best value, but we appreciate you may not be able to afford to do that. If you can, you'll obviously need a SIM card and plan as well as the phone. If you don't already have one, check out our best SIM-only deals.

Just currently bought a OnePlus 8 like a day ago. Don't get me wrong this phone is amazing but now really considering on making a return and grabbing the Galaxy S20 instead. Can't make a decision and stuck as of now

Weigh the pros and cons of both phones. OnePlus is still "developer friendly" in terms of rooting and customizing your phone. Samsung locks the bootloader (per carrier). Oneplus is about 400 bucks cheaper -- plus or minus -- than samsung.
Ultimately, "sell yourself." Ask yourself,"What appeals you the most." Smart phone manufacturers main goal is to "wow" you.
