not possible at the moment.

This have changed A ROM is in development, and can be tested right now! It works quite well in fact, but has a few bugs. https://www.change.org/p/cyanogenmod-official-support-for-honor-6 (scroll down to the news section for an update containing the link to the XDA forum thread).

They don't have a custom recovery for it yet, but they do have instructions on rooting. You can keep an eye on that thread or ask there in case they'll get TWRP available in the future.
