[Help] Ubuntu Touch Preview

Hi Guys,
I am relatively new to Android deelopment and am in learning stage .
I was wondering if any of u are interested on Ubuntu Touch ? I many people are , i was thinking of porting it for our device; Though i need a lot of help and <This will be my first port ever> So Really a LOT OF HELP
Being based on CM10.1 i guess we should be able to use 3.08 Kernal
Kindly let me know if you guys are interested

For ROMs , lolation would be a better guy
.. I'm not so much into custom ROMs. Mostly a kernel guy.

Question about my huawei mt1-u06

Hello everyone,
I am not sure what the full name of my Huawei phone is. I actually purchased it for my mother as a birthday present as she had a phone older than this one. The only thing I see when it boots up is "Huawei Ascend". When I go to the "About" section of this phone, it says "Huawei mt1-u06". Is this the Huawei Ascend Mate? Or Huawei Ascend 1? Not sure. Some clarification would be appreciated greatly.
Also, since the phone is running android 4.1.2 (jellybean) I was wondering if someone can provide a link to a cyanogen mod that's exactly for this phone so I could put a newer Android OS on her phone and so that it looks a little newer.

Please next time try doing a simple google search first
I googled "Huawei mt1-u06" and i found that you have the Huawei Ascend Mate.
I also googled "mt1-u06 cm11" and found this thread here:

Hi, thank you so much for replying. I did the search and got the model number but wasn't sure if it's the Hussein Ascend or a Mate. I will look at the threads you provided. Hopefully that link will help me put some mod on it so it looks more updates. I'd love nothing more. Thank you beyond for guiding me somewhere. I'm a newbie beyond belief.

Thank you SO much, you rock. After reading a bit about how to install that rom, it says that the bootloader needs to be unlocked. Not sure what that is but I will learn eventually. Was just wondering if you might happen to have a link to (perhaps) a tutorial on how I can do this? I searched on here but can't find it. I'm not that tech-savy, apologize. Thanks you again.

I'm sorry, i can't risk it.
i recommend you search more and find a better way to do it, or maybe ask in the ROM thread and someone might guide you.

looking on the forum I can't find anything about this model.
I only found support, for the PRO version.
Someone knows if there are unofficial ROMs or if exist a google camera mod for this phone?
Unfortunately the stock camera works really bad, and I have to find a solution as soon as possible.

Bro, it's time to end this, no update and no security patch and nothing also, Huawei closed the website for unlock bootloader, so we can't unlock the Huawei & Honor Devices no more, the good solution is xiaomi devices, my recommand is pocohone f1 and redime note 5 these devices are the best of the best.

I don't see how MIUI has anything to with Huawei or any features they made. So what's the logic behind that?
But to somewhat answer you question, their webpage about that feature says this: "...make sure that your phone is running EMUI 9.1 or later, or Magic UI 2.1 or later."
So I think you can't.
