Hi Folks,
story first : I got struggle when using my airpods pro on my nubia red magic 3, sometimes mic is not clearly heared (strutted) by my team, and sometimes is ok.
andddd, mic will working if my hands is away from my RM3 (left hand) - i was debugging first, so got the problem is on proximity sensor.
so i got conclution that this bluetooth is using one way sound to my bluetooth using SBC (not aptx or aac that was i see on developer menu) enable by default.
so dual stream audio is not working on SBC, cause PUBG output target is stereo on bluetooth (hearing step), but using internal RM3 mic as input.
so i am doin add this on /system/build.prop
Code:
# add this on last line of build.prop
gsm.proximity.enable=false
and do reboot.
And my internal mic working as well.
impact : if you have some call, the proximity sensor will not working when your ear is near your phone, so your screen will always turn on.
My device is not root is there any way to fix it

Hey there.
Since i bought my o3d, i noticed there is a small hole next to the power button so I searched and found out that it's a mic and its only used for stereo sound recording. I was wondering if there's a tweak out there which will make use of it as an active noise cancellation mic instead as this would be far more useful.
Thanks
Sent from my LG-P920 using XDA
Actually that mic is for noise cancellation ,am not sure whether its using for stereo recording .But its mail purpose is noise cancellation . Now a days many smart phone have two mics.
Is any idea for enabling stereo sound recording from two sources (main mic & sub mic) at once?
LGCamera can enable but only one at once; sub mic (camcorder) or main mic (microphone) never both
This would be very COOL!

Hello everybody!
I have a question that is more a challenge!
My problem is that while I am driving I use an aux-aux cable to listen to music.
But, if I receive a phonecall and answer, the microphone is automatically set to a low sensitivity even though the audio is going through the aux/car speakers (seems like the sensitivity for a normal phonecall). Therefore I usually put the speaker mode on for the mic to go to a high sensitivity and everything works well. However, sometimes it is hard to hear the call while driving and it would be awesome if I could use the car speakers instead with a high sensitivity mic.
I have a rooted device with Cyanogen 12 OS
Is there any solution to this? Tweaking? Using tasker/trigger or else? (I also have NFC tags in the car dock to toggle actions)
Thanks
Hello,
i have one big issue that prevents me from fully enjoing marshmellow roms ,the bluetooth audio.
I have a bluetooth headset from lg hbs-730 an they work just fine with every android (this year i changed like 15 handset) and NEVER had any problem, they just works.
BUT they dont work on a oneplus with mm rom and i can't understand why.
the headset connect via bluetooth with no issue and audio comes out fine at first, but when you get heavy bass or just a lot of instruments in the song the audio lose quality and noise ramp up.
do you know why?it is fixable?
the only hint i have its that the audio control on kk,lp roms are different ,so when i push the up and down volume buttons on the phone the bluetooth audio of the phone is managed, but when i press the volume buttons on the headset it manages its OWN volume.
This doesnt happen in MM roms, when you push the volume button of the headset ord the phone its the same volume bar which is managed.

would you mind share the tasker profile so i can give it a go?
i never use max volume btw
Create a profile with bluetooth conecrion
Select the device
And search mic mute
Turn. On

Ok so I just got the Pixel 2 XL and realized that all audio recording on it is in mono. Even when I hooked up my blue yeti (set to stereo mode) the audio still got mixed down to mono. The reason why this is such a big deal to me is that recording just sounds awful compared to my Galaxy S5 that recorded in stereo.
Is this a hardware limitation on the Pixel 2 XLs side, or is it a software limitation? If it is software do I have hope that a custom rom in the future would be able to enable stereo recording?
There's one mic (unless you want different levels and quality on each channel) and one pin for mic input in the phone, so I'm guessing (it would be the way I'd have done it) they've only implemented one audio channel for the mic (hardware costs money). So even if you use a stereo mic, both channels are being fed to the same pin (or you're losing one channel, depending on the mic manufacturer and whether you have the mic set to stereo or mono), so the phone records in mono.
I haven't torn my phone apart - this is just a "how would I implement this if I were given the assignment" first approximation. (On second approximation, I'd probably split the mic input so a mono mic plug would hit both channels, but a stereo plug would maintain them separately, then run 2 channels in the phone, at least for video recording ... then present it to be shot down as being too expensive.) But I don't work for Google, so I have no idea what their design philosophy is.
There is definitely at least two mics, one bottom side that you speak into and one top side that is used for ambient noise reduction while you are on a call. This is the same setup that the original Pixel had except the ambient mic was on the rear, it too only recorded video with mono audio, but later on an audio system mod was made to enable stereo playback and capture; https://forum.xda-developers.com/pixel-xl/themes/mod-enabling-dual-speaker-audio-playback-t3492257 . Unfortunately an equivalent mod doesn't exist for our Pixel 2 yet, but hopefully someday it will.
Hi everybody, all of you know that bottom speaker's place isn't comfortable for using phone in landscape orientation. In this way while gaming I have to turn the phone over so that the bottom speaker is on the left, but then audio channels messed up (if in game sound came from right I will hear it from left). If turn phone back (bottom speaker is on the right) - channels are correct. That anomaly appears only while gaming (YT Vanced works correctly). Is it firmware bug or can I configure it in settings?
Get the Buds+ and be happy... or some better LDAC based headphones or earbuds.
Or maybe bt speakers.
