I just updated to Android 11 and I was wondering how do I wipe the cache partition?
The system cache is cleared either from the boot menu (Samsung) or it's found in the software in Settings under storage, memory.
If it not on the boot menu it's somewhere in settings...

The recovery menu for the axon 20 is very limited with no option to clear the cache partition. I did check settings and I couldn't find the option...

It's in settings. Look under storage and memory.
It's likely buried but its got to be there.
Maybe a hidden double tap drop down, I know Samsung is notorious for doing that... you know just for fun
Try a Google search for that model but also other devices from that manufacturer.

Sadly the option could not be found... when I have a chance I will be calling ZTE support and seeing what information they could give me.

What about the gear icon?
I found this:
Wipe Cache ZTE Axon 20 5G, how to - HardReset.info
Tutorial for wiping the cache files. Check out how to delete temporary cache files. What's really important this operation won't delete your personal files.
www.hardreset.info
You sure it's not on the boot menu?

The gear icon leads to number 4.
I also came across this website. Not only did they get the "how to get into recovery" wrong, but they also have the wrong recovery in the picture provided.

Hello!
I really need your help, I'm stuck!
I'll try to explain what happened.
I decided to change my Samsung Captivates ROM, did all stuff which was listed in tutorials 1:1.
Downloaded Clockwork recovery manager, created that update.zip file using it.
Moved my new ROM to sd card. Then selected an option "Install rom from sd card" in Clockwork recovery manager.
Phone rebooted...
And that's all, know I can't do completely nothing, I mean I just cant use volume and power buttons to select items in menu. It's just frozen.

I found similar topic, maybe this is reason?
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=869781
Anyway, I need you help, as that topic didn't helped me, as I dont know what people were talking about there.
I can view internal memory files using Droid Explorer, but I can't view sdcard's data to remove that update.zip...
What can I do in this situation?
Many thanks!
that is just worst day for me. After applying older version of Clockwerk, I was able to select in recovery menu.
I selected format user data, and after selected to install Fenix rom.
During installation, some kind of error occurred. And only thing i can see, it is At&t flash logo on my screen.
If I try to enter into recovery mode, power button (select) isn't working, only up and down buttons are working...
just one question:
What should i do? damnit...
installed in download mode.
Thanks to this guy, his screencasts 're just epic.
maybe it will help someone else

can you access to dawnload mod with the 3 combinations? if yes flash another rom with odin.
Ifnot if you can still acess to recovery (if u can access daawnload mod then u can access recovery) all u need is to pull your batterry and do the 3 combinations, then press installe zip from sd card, then choose zip from sd card , and then YES installe zip from sd card, ENJOY!
Today, my A2 keeps saying this msg when I switch to video recording mode.
Before that, I have installed this: [Apps][CM10]Motorola Camera
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=32324077
And use this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1669983
to remove Beat audio driver
Tried:
- wiping camera data
- wiping cache and Davik cache
:crying:
Do different cameras work? IE: Paper camera, retro camera?

No promises, but try these things:
delete the .nomedia file
try fixing permissions (either in Rom Manager or whatever custom recovery you currently have, assuming that has the option)
try factory resetting without the option to wipe data
delete the camera app and re-install
buy a cheap camcorder :silly:
I'll try to think of other options, but in the meantime try these and see if any clear up the issue...

Camera mode works, but when I tap the switch to change to video mode, it threw that message.

- What .nomedia files? All? I have many many in my sdcard :\
- Didn't work
- I already did that
- Didn't work

Privacy > factory reset --> not work, and some of my mods still there :\
I think I have to flash back to 2.3.5 using Jim' method, then OTA to 2.3.6 and then use stock recovery to flash ICS 1st leak, are those steps right?
Have hust formated sdcard and restored ICS 1st leak backup by Bootmenu.
And... the problem is gone

I recently been having Google play not connect on my Hyperdriven GS4 I have found out all of the possible solutions. Here is a list of the possible solutions.
1. Restart your device
2. Wipe Dalvik Cache and Cache
3. Delete the "hosts" file from /system/etc
4. Make sure your Date and Time is correct.
5. Turn on Airplane mode then turn it off.
6. Update Google Play Services

Hi, I want to ask. I want to reset my phone by using PBRP Recovery using Advanced Wipe option. If I wipe "Data" will my Android OS be lost? as well as "Internal Storage", will my Android OS be wiped too? Sorry, I'm still a beginner who wants to learn.
Translated using Google Translate
As with Android /data partition holds user apps and related data, partition "internal storage" ( read: /sdcard or /storage/emulated/<UI> ) holds user data.
So Android OS itself will not get wiped, IMO.

Even if I use a Custom ROM (Pixel Experience) it won't be erased? And also is it safe to select all of them (ART Cache, Substratum Overlays, Magisk Modules, FBE Cache, Cache, Data, Internal Storage)? I want to wipe everything to make sure everything is clean (without wiping Android OS)

There is no Advanced Wipe manual for this recovery. There is only an installation manual

Hello, I can't find cache/data folder on android phone.
In android system settings opera takes 500mb of data (cache and user data). But in File Manager , phone storage>Android>data>com.opera.browser , this folder only takes 40kb of space.
I don't need to delete it, I need to access it's cache.
Maybe you can help to find opera cache folder on Android? Thank you.

You can find the Folder containing Cache for Opera at:
Code:
/data/data/com.opera.browser/cache/cache/Cache_Data
good luck

Thanks for answering, but I cannot find this folder.
Android>Data>com.opera.browser
I see only two folders here:
Cache and Files.
In Cache folder there are:
adxads folder and adxlib folder.
adxads is empty, and adxlib has only one file called omsdk.js and its size is 40 kilobytes.

The aforementioned Folder at /data is only accessible with Root access (UID 0) or a system app. In android, Data folders for apps are only accessible to the corresponding App (meaning opera itself, not your file explorer, which is a separate app). If you don't have root, you can get away with setting selinux to permissive and trying.
Here is a screenshot without root:
