Hello,
You should be able to go to this link and select to opt out of the beta to return to Android 11. Follow the instructions since they do tell you how to go back in the event you don't like the beta:

Apparently you aren't the only one.. Assuming you have a Pixel 3, you can adb sideload the downgrade zip to go back to android 11. I am not sure if this is the right one for you but basically you can reboot into stock recovery then choose the option to update via adb or whatever it says then on PC use adb to sideload the zip file located here:
https://ota.googlezip.net/packages/ota-api/package/3fa0973459c2c433be2482c613776949fd4f0d72.zip
This should be the downgrade zip for Pixel 3 to go from Android 12 Beta to Android 11.
You cannot flash anything in Fastboot sicne I assume being VZW model your bootloader is locked and since you can't get into the OS to unlock it anyways then the only option you have is to adb sideload the zip in stock recovery.

Shutting down Repeatedly When trying to Update Marshmallow

Hi All,
I have Moto X play running on android 5.1.1 lollipop. It was rooted recently and used with cyanogen Mod 12.1 for a month. during that time i did back up of entire phone. later i restored that and at present i have been using stock Rom. Recently i got official update for Android marshmallow and i downloaded the 500+Mb file and tried to install. In that process it was going to Twrp recovery mode and not installing properly. So i did reboot system. After 5 mins i turned on mobile, it got shutdown and i again restored my backup . It was working fine. cant we update to Marshmallow with the rooted device? If so how to stop the notifications of android system updates? I tried this way but still i am getting update notification
Apps--> All---> Motorola Update services--> turned off the notification
.How to disable it so that i should not receive update notification? or any other process to upgrade to marshmallow even after rooting? Please let me know

you need stock recovery to update to OTA mm, you cannot update from TWRP. download the lollipop stock-firmware extract the recovery file and flash it, then update.
i wanted to ask that after restoring from backup you got OTA update notification ? or you downloaded the MM update from other sources?? because i thought after rooting i wont get official OTA.

if you have your backup just do a full flash on stock rom and start fresh. there's an Asian 6.0 rom (I believe it is Indian) on the x play github. then proceed with root again.

Actually i am not android developer or android related person. After i heard many things about rooting the devices. I just give it a try by watching the video in you tube. So i am not aware of the core technical terms you specified.
First rooted the mobile. before installing the cyanogen Mod 12.1, i took back up in TWRP recovery mode. i used that same backup to restore after my device got shutdown. Yes even after rooting i got the Update notification

i think if you can block/disable notifications for Google Play Services, it'll remove the update notification.

Sir, Is it possible to unroot the rooted devices in any way? if so could you please let me know
if you want to unroot you can do it from superuser, its mentioned in the youtube video. just unroot from superuser settings.
then if you want to upgrade to marshmallow download Indian stock lollipop rom from https://github.com/motoxplay/stock. unzip it on your computer to the the folder where you kept TWRP while flashing it . you'll see a file named recovery.img.
from adb run the command
Code:
fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
i.e flash this recovery just the way you flashed TWRP.
then you can update to marshmallow.
and did disabling google play services removed your update notification???

or
nope no problem just flash the recovery. but before doing anything take a backup on your external sdcard twrp>>backup[look at bottom to change where to store the backup select sd card] for security if in case anything goes wrong, you can flash twrp again and restore.
and remember to select 'ALLOW OEM UNLOCK' and usb debugging options from settings>>developer options

Just follow the procedure as given in that thread and everything will be fine.
It has nothing to do with the way you rooted your phone.
If a phone has twrp installed, he has nothing to fear about upgrading to latest versions as the updates are made available on Xda in Twrp flashable zip.
So no need to format the stock firmware again and then update and then all the headache.

Sir, In your previous post you meant to say this?
1. First unroot the mobile using the super Su (settings)
2. Then flash the Stock lollipop rom mentioned in the github
3. Then update the mobile to Marshmallow
4. Then again root the device
You meant to say this?

1. correct
1.1. check oem unlock and usb debugging
1.2. Copy the original old backup which you took, to your external sdcard. [just to return to stock if anything goes wrong]
2. Just flash the recovery which is present in the lollipop rom, no need to flash the whole rom.
3. correct
4. Do NOT flash the old superuser to root. To root again follow these steps http://forum.xda-developers.com/moto-x-play/general/root-how-to-root-6-0-easly-t3277202
that other post was much easier

If any downloading oreo OTA for 4G please make this previusly apply the update

Please... Its for link for download
Developer Settings enabled needed (no need root)
Once you receive the OTA notification, do not update and do not reboot.
Download the OTA and let it remain on the device.
Connect your smartwatch with your Android phone.
Launch the latest Android Wear 2.0 app on the phone.
Tap on the 3 vertical dots, which is the options tab, and select Report Wearable Bug.
It may take a long time to retrieve the log for the last hour. (5 mins aprox)
You will get a notification on the phone saying the report was received.
Now you can directly email yourself to get the log
Upload the .Zip file to there, and apply update
Very thanks in advance, i dont have update

While trying to "unbrick" with stock firmware --> boot loop --> back to internationnal stock --> bad bootloader = sim does'nt work -> trying other firmware -> Working without SIM.

I updated to the newest global beta. Simply downloaded it and used the system updater and pointed it to the zip file I downloaded and it did the rest.
Will this newest global beta get OTA updates as new versions are released? That's my big question.

Hi, don't worry you'll get OTA for new updates.
But I still don't know if we'll have an OTA to switch from last beta to first MIUI 10 Stable global release.
It worked for me. Thanks for the tips.

Probably no, normally only via fastboot method, but for that, you will need to unlock the bootloader first, so request the unlock permission now, because there is a 360h waiting time
Does installing the latest beta break any functionality? Safety net is primarily what I'm worried about. I like my Google Pay.

How to downgrade 9.0 to 8.1

How to rollback from official 9.0 to 8.1 please help me
Yeah not digging 9.0
http://oxygenos.oneplus.net.s3.amazonaws.com/OnePlus6Oxygen_22_OTA_007_all_1805131952_O_MR1.zip
See if you can flash this from settings. It used to allow you to downgrade from Pie Beta. I'm not sure if it will work for Pie Official. You will most likely lose your data if you successfully flash this. So backup your stuff even before attempting this.
Or you can use the unbrick method to completely reflash your phone to 5.1.5 using MsmDownload Tool.

Download the 5.1.11 fastboot rom. Extract it. Open the folder you extracted and run flash-all-partitions-fastboot.bat
You see some things that look like errors but they aren't!! You have to have patients and just wait!!! When it completed it will say press any key. Then unplug phone and boot. You'll be on latest 8.1

I did that and gave me a Qualcomm crashdump so had to flash back to 9.0 doing the same thing using 9.0 fastboot
Run the downgrade zip from the Open Beta 1 page
downgrade in the local mode
Hello
I also want to go back to android 8.1
In the phone settings in the local upgrade section, the old version is still available but the message "to avoid the failure of the start-up phase, no downgrading is allowed", is there a solution for to work around this problem?
Thank you all

If you're unlocked, flash it trough TWRP and format your storage.
If you're not, on a Sticky thread somewhere on this forum, you can get a rollback build (it's an Oreo build, the latest if i remember correctly, it's clearly called "rollback")
Edit : it's on this page : https://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-6/how-to/oneplus-6-mirrors-official-oxygen-os-t3792244
What issues are you all having with 9? I was on the BETA build when I first got the phone and had several issues.. but after downgrading to the recent stable build.. I haven't really had any issues..

http://bigota.d.miui.com/20.7.30/miui_LMI_20.7.30_2de74df6ca_11.0.zip Android 11 is here.
This can not be flashed with current TWRP. It requires stock recovery to decrypt data partition. I did manage to install it. If someone wants to know how to, let me know ill make a guide

how to install it? and its multi language? thx
Warning! Please back up everything. You will loose data partition if something goes wrong. You have been warned. This was tested on K30 pro zoom edition with Chinese beta rom 20.7.9.
Requirements: pc with fastboot files.
Usb otg cable and USB stick at least 4gb.
Full tgz fastboot rom miui 12.0.x.x
20.7.9 and 20.7.30 recovery Chinese rom
Drawbacks with Android 11. No TWRP support. No magisk. No root.
1. Download full tgz Chinese rom miui 12. Extract it and flash stock recovery. You can skip this step if you have stock recovery already.
2. Fastboot boot into TWRP recovery using fastboot.exe. Do not flash or replace stock recovery. Phone will restart into TWRP.
3. Download 20.7.9 and extract file META-INF/com/google/android/update-binary and replace inside 20.7.30 rom.
4. I used USB otg cable with USB stick to flash in TWRP the patched rom.
5. Wait little as first boot is long.
Edit: this should be obvious, it is a Chinese rom so only English is supported.
