I got this from @eremitein dev of GSI maintener for obb fix..
[ probably obb issue fix ]
in Android 11 GSI on some devices users have issue when Android/obb folder is not available (even impossible installing apps with obb content from Play Store)
I have vndk-28-lite vendor (Pie stock rom) and now solution is remove file /system/bin/migrate_legacy_obb_data.sh
after reboot obb folder should be accessible

Thank you for your feedback. Probably not weekly. I think it will depend on the quantity or quality of changes for the next build.
When Los18.1 will be is in official status, builds will occur on a weekly basis.

actually , i have it but front and display are broken... touch doesn't work.
i discontinued all my projects because i don't have a server to build the ROMs... as an student i don't have money to rent a server

Hi, I am using lex820 and have installed LineageOS 18.1-20220121-NIGHTLY-x2. I have installed the latest firmware (firmware-466D-X820-le_x2) and the MindTheGapps. The installation was successful. Everything worked. I have registered one fingerprint and a Pin for opening the device.
After restart the system UI expects the pin. After entering the pin the UI crashes, restarts and expects again the pin. I try the fingerprint and the UI wants the pin, because it is the first time after reboot. I enter the pin and the UI crashes. Endlessly. I succeed by dialing an unknown emergency call. During this modeless dialog I start the system configuration in the status bar, which expects the pin. I enter the pin, the system UI crashes too often and Android complains. Then I try the fingerprint and I am in. That works after several trials... Not a permanent solution...
Later I installed Resurrection Remix (the latest version Android 10). Exact the same behavior. Then I installed Lineage again with no progress to the first installation.
I used to use LineageOS 17.1 with no problems past year.
By the way: when I am successfully logged in, the system configuration crashes when I try to add a further security action (second fingerprint e.g.).
Has someone a good idea?

I publish here the LineageOS Builds 14.1 & 15.1. I create them with the Docker Image from MicroG, but without any MicroG components. Therefore GApps can be installed without any problems.
I'm only testing the 14.1 builds, as I'm currently using them.

If you go from 15.1=> 15.1 or from 14.1=>14.1 it should not be necessary.

In 15.1 HWC is corrupt, so some apps are crashing( like netflix) Steel01 is hopping that he can fix it in Android Q.
In 14.1 all is great.

Ok, I just tried installing your build over the official build 15.1=> 15.1.
It just bootloops, Nvidia logo -> LOS load screen -> Nvidia logo -> TWRP -> Reboot from TWRP -> Nvidia logo -> LOS load screen -> Nvidia logo -> TWRP -... loop

I'd suggest wiping system but keeping data partition and then install the los 15.1 of your choice...

I have a feeling there might be a problem with my builds.
Has anyone done a dirty flash with gapps without any problems? (I only did this without gapps times and otherwise I always had to do a full wipe due to various tests anyway)
If there should be problems I would take the builds offline and test it completely by myself.

I did a clean flash for 14 with the exception of wiping internal storage and had a flawless installation.

I wouldn't take them offline for that really...
Like I said if only system is wiped, users will still keep all their data and app settings even fingerprint data and the likes... I would 'ever suggest a dirty flash between different builds of the same os even of they are both lineage os... Sometimes the device related adaptations are different and drivers conflict or the likes can arise because of this... At least that's how I experience it

Which Magisk build? Magic hide enabled?
I've never seen this not working on latest builds

You can't go from official to unofficial builds or vice versa without wiping data due to signing key differences. Anyone coming off officials to this will have to wipe and start over. Just like when I release unofficial builds myself.

Hello, everyone,
the August patch day is approaching, so I have now tested updating my builds extensively. I noticed that the 14.1 build is not updateable. It comes, as already described once, to an ERROR 7 error in TWRP.
The 15.1 builds do not seem to be affected. To control this I created a new 15.1 build for testing.
Currently I am planning to change the build image for the 14.1 version to eliminate the bug.

as already announced, I changed the build environment for LineageOS 14.1 because of the error " Error 7". I tried several workarounds (adaptation of "update-script" etc), but without success. I deleted the old 14.1 builds and replaced them with the new docker image from jfloff. With this I created two images on different days and could update them without any problems. Unfortunately you have to do Full Wipe otherwise you get Error 7 again, at least with me.

Maybe I'm saying something absurd but the other day I watched Avengers Endgame with MX Player and could use HW+ mode. As far as I know this mode uses mx own framework and the video played smoothly without major battery drain. Does this mean that at least with mx player hw acceleration is working?

Legal questions about the state of this project:
rcstar6696, the original developer of this ROM have abandoned it for a while after the build 20200106 , and I (S-trace) built a new build of this ROM, and then I fixed an issue with WLAN Tethering offload on encrypted devices (rcstar6696 don't support the device encryption, but don't forbid the encryption completely), and then I got the invite from rcstar6696 to the xiaomi-sdm660 team to maintain the LineageOS for the clover (rcstar6696 supports several Xiaomi SDM660 devices, not only clover). Then I got the piracy attack from LR-user but rcstar6696 responded to this attack and confirmed me as the new LineageOS maintainer for clover because he simply not have the time to maintain 3 ROMs and transferred this project to me.
I'm too don't have much time to develop the LineageOS for clover, so I just merge the cr-8.0 branch to lineage-17.1 branch and build the ROM, install it to my clover tablet (LTE-4GB-8" model) and quickly test it, and (if no problems were detected) upload it and post it here and release the ROM as an OTA update. So, please also thank rcstar6696 for this ROM, because I don't develop it very much but just maintain it using rcstar6696 original development for cr-8.0 ROM.

It looks really good.
I installed it dirty over LineageOS 16 on my MiPad 4 Plus LTE.
No FCs, youtube working, sound working, wlan and lte working.
Animations were a bit laggy in playstore when i started updating apps.
Now installing magisk - not booting yet.

Is there an option for rounded corners? Can't find it anywhere...

Reflashed it clean: everything important works but i can't use riru_edxposed. It stays at the MI-Bootlogo for so long, i didn't want to wait anymore.

I just can't get Google Photos to sync, but I assume it's a gapps issue. Everything else is running fine.
Would you mind adding ethernet usb drivers to the kernel?
The device recognises the USB-to-ethernet adapter and shows a dummy0 interface instead of eth0 when running ifconfig.
There was ethernet support on the February Lineageos 16 build found on 4pda.
I'd be really happy to have that feature, but I'm already thankful for being able to run Android 10.

even magnetic cover works, close and open

or is there something to be aware of or to add or so so I (with no expericence in Building a ROM) will not be able to do this with this guide?

Instructions :
You need a PC with ADB & Fastboot available
Download recovery
Reboot to fastboot
Run: fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
Press volume & power up until you see TWRP logo
Enter your password (if it prompts)
Go to Wipe
Select Advanced Wipe
Select system & cache & internal storage and press wipe

I'm currently on MIUI v11.0.3.0 (Android 9) Global stock rom.
I have unlocked the bootloader and installed twrp recovery and magisk. So do I just place the rom zip into my internal storage and flash it via twrp? or there are any prior steps before installation?
Also in the instruction, it says to wipe internal storage as well. Can someone explain why?

I guess that you will need to update to android 10 in prior as it will definitly be based on android 10 vendor.. Or atleast you should flash android 10 firmware (dont have a link at the moment). By wiping internal storage he means format data option in TWRP. This will delete all your data on your phone. The only reason behind this as far as i know is because the storage is encrypted by the MIUI and this new OS would not be able to decrypt it.

My Wifi-MAC got changed!
Edit:Switched back to my old ROM
- MAC addresses were changed (to maybe Pigs?)
- Fingerprint again not working
so I'll wait ...

This is a ROM built from source and not a GSI!
Fix Camera stretch & force close for some camera apps
You can do it editing /vendor/build.prop file using MiXplorer (you’ll need ROOT).
Search for the line “vendor.camera.hal1.packagelist”
After the = are the name of different apps. Delete one of these and put the package name of the app that you want to fix. For example, com.facebook.orca is the Facebook package name.
Per default, the ROM comes with Whatsapp, ZOOM, Snapchat and Instagram added. Maximum 4 Apps are allowed in this line and must be separated by comma ",".

Fix Camera stuck
Sometimes, the camera can get inaccessible if an app was failed. If it happen, follow this:
Install this app. Open it and tap "Kill camera", then give it ROOT permissions. Done! Camera is working again.
Take in mind that if the camera is broken and you didn't do this, the audio in calls maybe not work.
GCam
This ROM can run GCam. Download a modded version for Exynos HERE. Thanks to Leonardo Estacio for his mod.
Games: this ROM works so good for gaming and can run ARM64 apps/games. If you feel lags, go to Settings > Battery > Battery Saver and performance > Performance Profile and set it to High Performance.
For close, i want to give a huge thanks to @Astrako - Without him this ROM haven't be possible <3

Just install magisk normally (flash magisk through recovery and verify success through manager app)

Try using orangefox recovery. Also, if you are flashing from stock, wipe internal storage as well.

Yes sir, everything was as mentioned, a clean installation

Calling Problem with earphone. both side not enable to listen voice after 4/5 seconds. I tried magisk module and also edit build prop, but still doesn’t work.

This is so far best rom i've installed on my j600f.
No issue at all.

Tried clean install using TWRP 3.3.1 only problem is pressing power button won't wake it. Goes into sleep mode forever. Power button press not working.

3. install rom zip
4. install gapps (optional)
5. install magisk (optional)
the included kernel is best btw, no need to change that

Nice rom, but there is one critical bug. The phone function does not work well, and I do not always hear the interlocutor, and he does not always hear me. Tried installing other apps for the phone, but this is no help me. My model: J600F

When my phone lock by being idle or just bc I hit the power botton I cant get it back unless I tap volume- and power key. I am also experiencing transparent picture in picture for vanced youtube. I am on a J600g

there is no fm radio on this rom.
is there any solution?
