Samsung Galaxy S6 G920F Grey Battery Icon Loop - Galaxy S6 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi,
I'm using Galaxy S6 and I was trying to install lineage 17 to my phone and this problem occurred. Here
Than ı tried to do fix this problem while instruction explained on link. But after couple of try it not worked.
After my last try I installed TWRP via Odin and restart my phone. But nothing happen. current status of phone is while charging charging icon gone gray and its disappear in every 2 second.
When I press the power button Samsung logo appear for 2 second and disappear again. I saw some people fix this problem with home button + power + volume up combination or something. But my home button does not work also. Another thing its not possible to replace home button for now because we are in lockdown. I don't think i have a psychical problem on my battery because its relatively new battery and i didn't have battery related problems lately.
I'm looking for any solutions for last two days but could not find any yet. If you have any suggestion please let me know.

[Solve] Galaxy S4 keep rebooting and you can only go to download mode for few seconds

so today i had fixed my s4 from this rebooting problem.
i was using the phone like everyday then the phone turned off by it self.
when i remove the battery and put it again the phone starts by it self going to a boot loop.
so i went to the samsung center, they told me its a software problem and it need to be flashed by a "j-tag" (software device) and they dont have it.
so i was confused
i have figured out that i cant go to recovery and i can go to the download mode for few seconds BUT! without pressing the power key!
the service center ignored me and refused to fix it.
so my last hope is to fix it by my self, so i did this!
You Have Two Options!!!
1- Hit the phone with the ground softly several times (stupid but fixed my problem)
2- Go to the power button by removing the screws under the phone back cover and release the button (by your self or anyone can handle this) :fingers-crossed:
:victory:

How can it be the same if he wasnt able to enter recovery.....
For me there was some issue with the power button getting pressed automatically. ..opening body loosened it..n fixed.. i also had another issue with sview black screen blinking..issue with the Magnetometer. .loosening the L1 screw fixed that. .may b tge button got magnetised somehow. .
i too had the same problem. i found it to be a defective power button as when i just pressed the volume and menu buttons i could get into recovery or download menu correspondingly without additionally clicking the power button.
Hi. I faced this issue as well and the best part it, the button isnt stuck. I've tried pressing and releasing it multiple times, dismantled and check if the button is stuck etc. However, the issue persist, and the exact same symptom which is; able to only go to download mode for a few seconds.
Need some advices here! Thanks!

Samsung Galaxy Tab Plus (P6200) "dead". Pls help

Hi everyone, I need some help with my tablet. It does not switch on when I press the power button, so I can´t flash it with Odin. When I try to charge it, it doesn´t charge and the battery icon appears but it doesn´t move.
Things I have tried:
- Flash with Odin, but it doesn´t work when I press Power + Down button
- Open it completely, remove battery and mother board and put everything back again.
Has anyone had the same problem? What can I do? Thanks a lot
Time for a new tablet.
Pp.
Your tab might hardbrick. I dunno to fix it. Bring it to Samsung service

Black screen and dead for few minutes

The first day allready 2 times black screen out of no where and afther that no reaction on any buttons.
The first time i waited 10 min or more then the S7 reacted normal again.
The second time i pushed the buttons....
The only reaction is when i press the same time: powerbutton, homebutton & volume button down.
Has anyone the same problem?
I had that issue once with the home button. I had to schedule a reboot through the craptastical built in scheduler that is says it is supposed to optimize the device. Search for restart in the settings.
I have the same sort of problems. All in all the s7e seems very buggy to me. Random crashes (especially in oculus app), sd card is sometimes not recognised and after most reboots I get two error messages (one about touchwiz and one about system proc). I'm not sure what is going on.
My wife's is a black too. I had a similar issues with my s6 last year it was the brightness had been swiped to low in my pocket, I was able to barely see the screen in a dark room and turn it up. No such luck with her s7. Hope someone can offer an idea, I'm headed to Verizon later if I can't fix it myself.
S7 black screen
Verizon did a reset for my wife's S7 to fix it hold down volume down, right side button, and the button on the face of the phone together for 15 seconds. The phone came right back on with all apps and stuff intact. Hope this helps, they said this wasn't the first S7 to come back like this they think it's a software glitch.
Im having the same problem....

Try turning off the App Power saving mode!! This fixed the black screen problem on my phone.
I've got the same issue (sometimes 4 times in an hour, sometimes it doesn't happen for 2 days..!!).
I've tried fixing by doing a factory reset and turning app power saving mode off.
Unfortunately this did not fix the problem. Yesterday I got an unresponsive blackscreen again :crying:
Any ideas how to fix this problem?
This happened two days ago with my wife's S7 Edge. She was using it to text me about dinner plans after work, her screen shut off, and it wouldn't work for several hours. The thing was getting very hot. When she was home and charging the phone the screen started working again for a little while, but with several green stripes down the right edge snd aa flashing horizontal band of grey near the top overlaying the screen image. Then when I tried plugging it into my computer to use Samsung's Smart Switch to roll back from the update she had accepted while at work the screen died again. It has not come on since, not even the stripes, and blue or red LED lights once in a wwhile at random. I managed to use Smart Switch to wipe the phone's memory. Then the program took several hours to download something very slowly and install that - a whole new OS update? That completed, and now the charging LED works correctly and the green stripes and grey band are back, flashing rapidly when powering on. Otherwise no screen function. She is shopping for a new non-Samsung phone now. Ridiculous.

Hi - i am a newbie to Android and have purchased a Galaxy S7 edge that is running a Samsung authorised Nougat Beta. Forgive me if this is wrong thread but help would be appreciated.
The phone still has 16 months warranty.
I spent a day configuring apps and understanding how to adjust settings etc and was really pleased with how well i had done and with phone and OS. i deliberately left it overnight with a low charge after my days work to see if any charge would be left overnight. Unsurprisingly there was not so had to recharge and boot up from fully powered down. When it came back to life i discovered that under these circumstances the fingerprint reader does not work and the password was required. There in was first problem as password was not recognised. i know 99.99% its the correct one as i use it on another secure site and am pretty sure when setting up Android Pay i needed to enter it to verify fingerprint reading option.
after a lot of head scratching and trying all amnner of variables and alternatives gave up and opted for factory reset. Pressing the combination of 3 buttons did nothing although my understanding was that it should be from a powered off state which was impossible to achieve as power button would only put phone into standby with date and time displayed on black screen. i eventually found 3 button press using volume down gave me a screen which seems to be downloading new software which i am guessing is new version of OS. its been doing it for over an hour now with no clue as to what progress.
can anyone give me ideas how to get phone back to life.
many thanks

*1 Force restart: “If your device is unresponsive, press and hold the Power key and the Volume down key simultaneously for more than 7 seconds to restart it.”
Factory reset:
Switch off your Samsung Galaxy S7 or S7 edge completely.
Boot into Galaxy S7 recovery mode by pressing and holding Volume Up, Home and Power keys at the same time. (Works alswo in the moment the phone force restarts by the method *1 described before)
Release all three buttons when Samsung Galaxy S7 screen flickers and you see a warning sign.
Press Volume Up to continue to the main screen of Recovery mode.

Problem after updating to ColorOS 11.1

Hi everyone. I'm using an Oppo Find X2 Lite since january and today I finally received the update to the ColorOS 11.1 based on Android 11. I put my phone in charge and started updating, but when the process finished something strange happened. When the phone re-booted it showed nothing but a black screen with the top bar with time, wi-fi and battery icons that goes on and off in a loop. I can't do anything: if I try to boot off the phone by pressing the power key, a white empty rectangle appears on the screen, but touching it does nothing. If I press the power button multiple times I can enter in a "SOS Emergency" mode by which I can use the flash light as an SOS or call my local number for an ambulance.
After buying the phone, I debloated it with adb commands following a list I found on this forum: may this be the reason for this behaviour? After debloating the phone I updated it a couple of times, but they were minor security update of ColorOS 7.
I have no idea of what to try, I'm just waiting for the battery to die and then try to access a recovery mode. Hope someone can help me, cheers

Try holding volume up + power button for 10-15 seconds phone should power down , when it does hold voume down plus power button should take you to recovery mode.
Hi,
I answer late but I got the same problem with my Oppo Find X2 lite. After dowonloading the Color 0S11.1 update my phone restarted.
But then I couldn't unlock it. The screen was flashing on and off in a bootloop.
I managed to get in recovery mode using the method described above. Unfortunately I couldn't just remove or restart the update and I had to do a full factory reset. Then the Colors OS 11 update went smooth.
I had also debloated my phone but only a few apps and services. I was very careful. So I have another clue : to me it looked like the phone couldn't load the fingerpint id sensor on start screen.
I wonder if it shouldn't be deactivated before any major updates.
@kibalcic : did you manage to solve your problem ?
