No, did you really search anything.?
There's definitely POCO X3 PRO with NFC.
That means you got both only POCO X3 PRO (bhima).
This question is so easy to be solved if you ask the people/company who sold you your phones.

You know what, never assume something which u don't know.
I have one vayu and another Bhima. Don't be so silly backing up your statement brother.
Neither the vayu has nfc nor bhima has, I've checked it hence posted.
And one thing if u are here to blame someone then please stop replying to my post.
Thank you

How you check it is the problem.
I have vayu global, I got NFC.
You said have vayu Indian, you got no NFC.
This issue is region related.
I checked the Indian Poco X3 pro spec. No NFC shown in the spec, so this is your region problem.
https://www.poco.in/specs-x3-pro
Change your country setting to United States, and language to English. Reboot and see if you get NFC.
So far I've only seen one person saying Vayu has no NFC.
I post a picture from POCO global to proof there's NFC in Poco X3 pro. Where's your proof?
Ask the person/company who sold the phones to you to answer your question if you think I'm just here to blame someone.
Did I anywhere said that I'm facing a problem, I'm just asking a question what's the difference as I didn't find any difference.
Please read the post carefully and comment.

You find no difference doesn't mean there's no difference.
Someone else told the difference, which I posted in my first reply, and this is not even my word.
If you want to negate his word, go negate him wrong, not me.
The reason why I reply is because you said "Poco X3 Pro has no NFC". This is definitely wrong.

I gave you the answer with the link. Did you go in and read what kamild_ said? Did you even press it?
It links to the post with the answer he said.
Don't change the word, did I tell you to "Google" it?
Did you try searching "in this forum?"
In fact there is difference, but you said you "didn't find any difference." = You find no difference.
"there is no difference" = In fact there is difference.
And now you are agreeing with me that there is difference, but you find no difference, how ??
Please read the post carefully , i have mentioned I didn't find any difference but I never said there is no difference.
And you said search before posting means google it out brother.
Don't try to justify your actions and stating that u are correct.

Yes, you never said "there is no difference",

If you are negating this, that means you find difference. What difference you find?
search before posting means google it out ??
Search your pocket for your key before posting means Google out your key?
Search = google?
Not yandex, yahoo, baidu, bing, duckduckgo, wikipedia, XDA, etc. ??
You ask the question, I answered you with links and proofs.
You said no, I'm wrong, but you never proof me wrong and saying I'm impolite.
I'm not customer service, it's good enough as long as I don't post illegal or indecent words and not even insult words.
Who's impolite when someone ask but the other side never answering?
I answered yours, so it's not me.
Where's the answer to my question that "POCO X3 pro" has no NFC?
Sorry I can't explain to a person who's eyes are completely closed.

Send me your Poco X3 pro (vayu) if there's Poco X3 pro that has NFC.
You might have a faulty one or got tricked lol.
Have you finished?
Both of you?
after flashing the fastboot ROM, my device, which was earlier detected as vayu in that MIUI debloat tool, a jar file, (MIUI ADB and fastboot tool), is now detected as bhima, in the same tool and when I go to debloat it via CMD! Can anybody tell me why it is so? And is there any fix for this?

it seems like the last couple of days there is a competition going for most ridiculously redundant thread posting in kaiser rom dev forum... im amazed at all the new users just asking the most simplest question that require minimal too little searching to find just what they are looking for
its not that hard. all you have to do is look in the wiki and all the answers are there. you have to be a pure idiot not to see it. and search alright i have to admit its a hit or miss. but when it comes down to the wiki. you find everything
also use google.
search your topic useing
for ex. HTC HOME + xda
you will find what your looking for!
i only post when i cant find a single answer.
so why dont people do the same?
bleh no one should get free rides around these parts.
True mbudden but ive had a change of heart and we should all be a little more compationate here on xda until they implement a new member system requiring people to take tutorials and pass a test before being allowed membership... cuz u r right its not rocket science

I may be new to these forums, but I am not new to forums in general. I know how **** works. Obviously the SEARCH button in the corner is made to help people out; however if someone posts a question, do you think it is necessary for 10 people to flame him?
Have you EVER in your life purchased a product and sat there and read every single page in the manual?
Yeah many people ask ask for help so you give them a link to a sticky. Is that so hard?

Alright, good that you know how things work.
However if you posted a question I'd think you'd get flamed too.
He's not the only one. You have to remeber that.
And honestly, I have bought a product and read the manual if it wasnt just common sence. But then again when it comes down to a product thats 500$ why would you want to tinker with it? If you break it using someone elses intructions dont bother doing it then. Don't ***** and complain you didnt read etc.etc. Thats what half of these ' I bricked my tilt ' threads are. Its nonsence!
Oh also, there are many stickies and theres the wiki. So what are you trying to get at? Lots of noobs come here with many diff questions. So how are you asposed to sticky 1039821093 posts that you could just search around for the answer. wow lazy people.
I hope a admin closes this thread. they need to.
princeison said:
P.S. I was a admin also. I guess some people have more patience then others. But if people post something that is "stupid", and you have nothing productive to say, then why bother saying anything at all? Does it affect your life in any sort of way at all? When you buy a new car do you read through the 200+ pages? I honestly don't. However different people work different ways.
No need to drag this conversation on further.

If you are not a complete idiot you can read the forum and search any questions you have.... i did not read a single page of the manual that came with my phone, i just read the forum. Its actually very annoying seen a new thread almost everyday on the same subject and you may say, "how does it affect you" but the point is i have to see a stupid question everyday polluting the forum. not only the ROM Dev forum but also the software and especially the general. why create an entirely new thread. Thats why members, especially older members get so pissed.

If you were a admin on a forum before I would think that you would know why people would be getting upset and everything. But obviously you have a low post count so no one knows anything about you, and you could just be making things up. But I'm not saying that. But alright, what I may be doing by flaming someone may not be productive but it does help for the OP to go and search and maybe he learns a lesson, he may not like it or not. So what. And really it does affect everything because when I go to search I find stupid senseless posts up in my search and I find it retarded that I have to search threw them to find that those people were flamed. And who said anything of this nature compared to a car? That's personal preference of what someone days. And people do work in many ways, like I like working in a clean environment that is fluttered with trash like the useless threads I have to swim threw to find my knowledge. I've been here since the Wizard days, I've learned about the search and the wiki and its always been a great help. Its now other peoples turns to do the same.
Well Well Well
I don't see why this thread needs to continue.

It's really flattering that someone monitors my activity so seriously, but it's not the point Just because I didn't open any thread doesn't mean that I cannot express my own point of view since we're all here on discussion board where we're supposed to discuss. I didn't write SbXLive hadn't done good job. Moreover I even gave him "thanks". I just thought it would be better to put everything in one related thread than create a new one, I had right to write it and I never insulted anybody. I said "thank you for contribution but I thought it would be better if..." I don't think it was especially rude, painful or inappropriate. And It was all between me and SbXLivE. I'm sure he doesn't need an advocate.

SbXlive, chill out. Let me clarify and end this topic. My intention wasn't to attack you or your job. (I've already appreciated your contribution twice). My last post wasn't directed to you if you didn't noticed. I don't have any problem, and you don't have to apologize me or anybody else, cos you didn't do anything wrong, but you did a really good job. I've just thought it would be a better idea if we create one sticky thread where everybody can put its own FW, and where everybody can find it's own FW, that's all. EOT
* To exchange different point of views is that what discussion is all about and it's perfectly normal when people don't agree about certain matters. As long as we keep discussion on the right level it can only bring positive results.

Wrong place to ask questions. But it could cause bodily harm if you flash something that might overheat your phone to the point where it will burn

Doesnt it have thermal protection of some sort?
Anyway whats the right place to ask this question then you reckon? I thought this was an issue related to 'android developement' as its certainly not a 'general' issue, only a handful of users who are into ..or thinking of gettin into development (like me) would unlock bootloader.
nope its entirely safe to unlock the bootloader
the only problem you might have is just breaking the warranty but thats it
of course you just have to watch some of the stuff you flash, if something like that mentioned in the op does happen it'd probably be from some experimental/ or in alpha kernel or rom. so dont worry.

Well, you basically have to unlock the bootloader if you intend to do anything at all with your device, from rooting it to flash all kind of custom rom, kernel and mods... so, yes, your question belong to the general Q and A section, since android development is, as stated in the pinned posts, reserved for posting about development... releasing android roms, launching concrete projects, mods, etc...

thank you. the thing i was worried about was in case i install some experiemental stuff unknowingly doesnt the phone have thermal protection? also from my limited research most of those iphone fires and those samsung fires started by charging or battery.the only reason i rooted to begin wth was cause my phone installed kitkat update and well that stopped my real racing 3 stopped cal recorder etc so rooting is more of a necessity for me really. plus i would like to develop as well maybe an app or two

Aha yes, I guess your phone would never start a fire no
Matter what (alimentation problems are a completely different thing and can happen with any deffective electrical product I guess). Maybe blow the internal hardware if you flash something really really bad. But I guess the main threat when it comes to flashing is bricking your device, so be careful at what you flash.
No, supersu won't pose any problem, basically, unlocking your device will change nothing in your phone, flashing things will does... So be sure to know what you're doing, to read the threads before flashing, and to know how to go back if something goes wrong.
Regarding the thread move, I'm afraid I can't help you, you'll have to ask to a moderator.

was this due to rooting or unlocking bootloader by any chance?

I'm not even sure why your asking common sense would say no.
The only fires have been due to faulty battery's and/or chargers.
Even over clocking won't do much if it overheats it will just crash long before it would burn.

Why am I asking?
Did you read the link I posted when I started the thread? Motorolas own terms and conditions while unlocking the bootloader state that it might cause physical harm. That's why I was concerned.
However so far I think I agree with your answer as I researched a bit on google and it does appear most problems lie with iphones or samsung galaxy and related to batteries.

Plan on buying direct from Google for the first time. If I port to a U.S. carrier, will I rely upon them for updates and not get them when Google releases them? Can the carrier, and will they likely, lock the bootloader?

You get the updates directly from Google. Verizon did something incredible were they actually released an update, monthly security patch I believe, even before Google did.
Any guess if the Pixel 3 will suffer from lack of ROM development vs the 3 XL as it has with the Pixel 2 ??

hope most people will get pixel 3.. xl is so damn ugly!
Im in for P3 and the wireless charger.
probably same here!
Thanks for this noob thread! Just watched the live event. Was wondering about the Titan Security chip that they announced in the P3 & Slate. The guy said it "protects the integrity of the OS". Will this prevent rooting and stuff like Xposed?

I would imagine it's not going to help matters. Regardless, Verizon will be utterly locked down.
Is there any confirmation yet of whether the bootloader can be unlocked on the Pixel 3 via the standard `fastboot flashing unlock` if I buy from the google store? I need a phone that supports T-mobile's 600 and 700MHz bands, but don't want to have to compromise my phone just to unlock the bootloader, so am hoping that the Pixel 3 is the device for me.
I second the question regarding the titan chip and rooting. Any thoughts out there if this will prevent rooting?
This is my first time ever being interested in a Google phone with the regular pixel 3, I'm a long time Samsung/HTC guy. I am interested most in the camera, do you lose any functionality when unlocking the bootloader and/or custom roms (AOSP) for the camera? Samsung/Sony both lose basic funtionality and its always been a hhuge turn off. Being "Stock Android" I imagine not but would like to know. I was waiting to see how treble treated the unlockable snapdragon s9 but it seems like treble is useless and the pixel seems more enticing now.
thanks for any help.

My bet is root will be doable but permanent recovery will be very hard.
If anyone sees a review that shows the notification LED, please link it here. Curious to see if it's the same as they did on the Pixel 2.
I'm interested in the sound quality on those pixel USB c earbuds that come in the box. If anyone can find a review or test theirs that would be awesome as I want to get these for my pixel 2

That's a bummer. Got used to the LEDs with my OG Pixel. I hope the always on display will make it easier to see notifications at a glance without picking up the phone?

Why did you have to give me this terrible news?
Hello,
I was surfing on the mi community forum and found a thread about the new update for our Poco F2 pro but now i'm very skeptical about the future of our phone. In this thread "https://c.mi.com/thread-3510493-3-1.html" a supper moderator just answer people to get out of the forum (to be polite), litterally, and go for the Poco forum
with is new and buggy for now. How can he answer secondly that "...Poco is an independent brand now..."?!! Seriously ? When this phone get released with MIUI, saying it is no more a xiaomi responsabilities ?
(I don't want to create conflict with the xda forum rules orthe community, don't know if it's the right place to talk about it but i wanted to share it with you guys who bought this phone and giving my thought. Just my appologies if i did something wrong about this tread, thank you. This is my 1st xiaomi/Poco phone and i'm disapointed if it's will be this sort of trade off to the customers in 2021 by xiaomi)

The versions of rom cited in the article are BETA STABLE.
Yep, i know it 's a"beta stable" not sure why they call it like this. Beta for me is a test, not stable...But i made this thread to point how the supper moderator treat customers...
And on some screen, you can see in the update app, it says "stable", so people not aware of can be confused.
