i was very sad when i try some rooms and give me 02 scrren in first boot

It doesn't matter.. it's just a splash screen. You can always change it by following the instructions here.

i have windows vista on my pc and i try to change the boot screen from o2 to jasjar but i cant found the original jasjar boot screen to do that
and when i make it with your ms dos programs it tell me that well make a backup for original splash screen in (c:\splash_backup.rsb)
but i cant found it can u tell me how can i do that????

I've never had any trouble with a WM6 rom on Universal, they all work well enough, and you can follow guides on the wiki as to how to change your various loader and windows start up screens. I can provide you with a cab to do this, but it may not be compatible with the Universal. I suggest following the guides to make your own cab to update your boot screens, perhaps using some of the colourful photos above.

Come on you guys give the guy a break, he can barely speak proper English. I do agree that he shouldn’t have posted this, but look at the way he speaks I don’t think he knows what he’s doing. I don’t think it was directed to any non-Muslims though since we all have different beliefs, faiths and different understanding of religions. He did say “sorry” let’s not make a big deal out of it and have an open mind for the fastest growing religion. Peace!!!!

I agree that he shouldn’t have posted it and shouldn’t have hurt any feelings of the Non-Muslims. But this has gone far enough I think the topic should be banned before everyone gets into this. Let’s talk about ROMS and you can tell us when we can try your new ROM. But we need to take under consideration that no Religion can be judge by the action of the followers and if you have to know about someone else religion you need to go back to the original source and people should stop spreading misconceptions. We are not here to debate on religions. In the post he no where asked anyone to be a Muslim and I think we should just get off the topic and leave it alone. If any non- Muslim got hurt by his post he should apologize and we all should move on.

My favorite is the L26 v9. Very stable and fast. Has a lot of programs on it.
My favorite fastest is probably ROMeOS 2.3 Its very fast and you can add whatever cabs you want.

Also a user by the name of pureskillzzz does rom reviews... look him up for his reviews of kaiser roms to find out which one you think is best ...

how about you try them out for yourself and then determine which rom is best for you!

It never ceases to amaze me ho uppity all the noobs seem to be. You are going to bring down all kinds of negative attention on yourself with foolishly chosen words like that. A couple things you should know.
1) there's a good chance he's typing from his phone, as he posts from there a lot. So who cares if he gets some letters backwards.
2) He is one of the most active members as far as helping support various roms, so he probably knows a little more about how this works than you do. I don't see your name around much trying to help people out.
3) it's a rom DEVELOPMENT forum, and threads like this belong in the Kaiser General Forum. That is what he was telling you, and he IS correct. These "what's your favorite rom" threads are just a waste of space here.
So please in the future, try to tone down the hostile word. They do not do anyone, any good. Also, please post these kind of threads in the General forum, or even better, just add your opinion to one of the probably dozens that are already out there.
This thread is just about you being too lazy to read the countless amounts of information available about most every rom.

it seems like the last couple of days there is a competition going for most ridiculously redundant thread posting in kaiser rom dev forum... im amazed at all the new users just asking the most simplest question that require minimal too little searching to find just what they are looking for

its not that hard. all you have to do is look in the wiki and all the answers are there. you have to be a pure idiot not to see it. and search alright i have to admit its a hit or miss. but when it comes down to the wiki. you find everything

you will find what your looking for!

Alright, good that you know how things work.
However if you posted a question I'd think you'd get flamed too.
He's not the only one. You have to remeber that.
And honestly, I have bought a product and read the manual if it wasnt just common sence. But then again when it comes down to a product thats 500$ why would you want to tinker with it? If you break it using someone elses intructions dont bother doing it then. Don't ***** and complain you didnt read etc.etc. Thats what half of these ' I bricked my tilt ' threads are. Its nonsence!
Oh also, there are many stickies and theres the wiki. So what are you trying to get at? Lots of noobs come here with many diff questions. So how are you asposed to sticky 1039821093 posts that you could just search around for the answer. wow lazy people.

If you are not a complete idiot you can read the forum and search any questions you have.... i did not read a single page of the manual that came with my phone, i just read the forum. Its actually very annoying seen a new thread almost everyday on the same subject and you may say, "how does it affect you" but the point is i have to see a stupid question everyday polluting the forum. not only the ROM Dev forum but also the software and especially the general. why create an entirely new thread. Thats why members, especially older members get so pissed.

If you were a admin on a forum before I would think that you would know why people would be getting upset and everything. But obviously you have a low post count so no one knows anything about you, and you could just be making things up. But I'm not saying that. But alright, what I may be doing by flaming someone may not be productive but it does help for the OP to go and search and maybe he learns a lesson, he may not like it or not. So what. And really it does affect everything because when I go to search I find stupid senseless posts up in my search and I find it retarded that I have to search threw them to find that those people were flamed. And who said anything of this nature compared to a car? That's personal preference of what someone days. And people do work in many ways, like I like working in a clean environment that is fluttered with trash like the useless threads I have to swim threw to find my knowledge. I've been here since the Wizard days, I've learned about the search and the wiki and its always been a great help. Its now other peoples turns to do the same.

EXACTLY.
our mod Red5 is handling not only SGR forum but other forum also and because of it he cant look after our forum whole day and clean mess from here, we already have alot mess in our forum and making such threads is increasing that mess. its our responsibility to take care of our forum and help it to stay neat, clean so that we can easily find what we need.
and FYI XDA havent made this forum as the other S2, OneX, S3 forums are made but after making a lot of requests XDA gave this forum to us, so respect what we had and help it to improve not to make it messy

dear, I know what you want to say & all that. but I think NEXUS 7 & related to JB is not part to related with galaxy R. Few application & threads which is meant to be in developer section are in General posts.
Google now is same in use of JB, its is fancy bt few are used to be in different handsets & now working fine in GALAXY R. we are following what we are seeing in each threads from your elder seniors. so its better not to make this issue hot to make me understand the same. I already put a request to MOD regarding the same & let them check.:angel:

yes dear, I already asked to MOD regarding the same. Let them do what for what they are here. Making these kind of topic hot isn't feel pretty. this thing already happend before when topic is being stretched by other people rather than to report to MOD.

Well lets keep it simple it needs to be in app section as it is related to an app. Let the OP himself report it to the MOD to be moved.

yes dear, I already asked to MOD regarding the same. Let them do for what they are here. Making these kind of topic hot isn't feel pretty. this thing already happend before when topic is being stretched by other people rather than to report to MOD.

my post above wasn't thr to point u particularly but it was more for wt i've been observing recently in several threads...
btw, we r here to help each other and make some knowledgeful discussion....my sole intention was to put my point of observation... if anybody feel im making issue hotter or going against this forum's goal im ready to get banned

First of all, I didn't say or pointed to you. I know the rules & anything belong to XDA. if application doesn't belong to GALAXY R & not available that's why I put that thread in General forum for asking a General Questions regarding the same. second thing about intentions, I never said that you have pointed me personally. we are professionals & we must not feel bad if we are making each other understand about forum. As you can see in my previous post (in the beginning) I was not blaming anybody for anything. You all have right to let me or even anybody knows that this is what, we should do. .??:highfive::laugh:
This matter is already in the eyes of MODs & we should not behave like kids man.. be Happy dear & let the MOD feel like we can manage things as per our own. they have many things to work on..so dont take it otherwise.

they are porting it to ics as we speak.... they have managed to have it working for some roms wid d exception of voice search.

Hopefully by the tym we get an upgrade to ics (via samsung or epsylon3) we will be able to use it on our phones without too much of a hassle :-D

Kinda silly the whole password thing. I think it'll do you more harm than good... But you know, whatever works for you. Just my own 2 cents. Took me all of 15 seconds to find the password without reading the entire OP. (Which I don't usually do unless I have support questions anyway).

You're a senior member you don't need to read the original post if you have an idea of what you're doing I don't think you realize that thousands I mean thousands of Noobs that come in there say something is not working but didn't bother to read the original post

I hope that touching on this subject doesn't bring sanctions my way, considering I'm a noob to these forums, but I'll ask anyway. With the original thread being locked due to general dickishness--which frankly I don't get, even as a new member I don't have major issues flashing, and it took me minutes to find the first password. I guess people are just lazy--is the entire project on hiatus or will we just see a new thread soon? I love the work you do and appreciate all your effort, so I'd hate to see it ruined just because a few people are acting silly.

It's still up on AndroidSPIN. If you'd prefer to remain on XDA, I'll keep the Support thread open and updated as long as people keep calm.

AAs a noob myself, i understand the whole pw deal. But what i dont understand is why it is considered someone elses responsibility if someone doesnt follow the instructions and bricks the phone.
We have all made it to this point by rooting and installing custom roms. I have never seen it taken to this level in any of the development threads. All this for flashing gapps, seems a little over the top imo.
All i have to add is thank you for all the work, and if someone bricks their phone by not following directions, so be it. You did your job

Justin, I was not complaining about the password at all, just complaining about all the complaining about it. If someone bricks because they did not read your instructions, it's their fault.

I opened contacts on my d2vzw running the 4.1.1 JT gapps... It forced closed. SO, I went on to my computer, opened the 3.2.6a download I last used and pulled the contacts.apk from it. I put it on my ext-sd, uninstalled contacts.apk from system/apps, and installed the contacts from the last working release I used. Then, I fixed permissions in CWM, rebooted, and boom. Success.
I did all of this without googling, searching these threads, or messaging anyone... and guess what... IT FELT GOOD.
More people should take my lead, figure stuff out for themselves before asking the same questions over and over, and in the end: FEEL GOOD.
We'll end android related depression and solve our problems at the same time. JOIN THE MOVEMENT. haha

Ya everybody that matters is on Android spin again and I guess permanently they just couldn't understand the concept of ignoring ignorant people... I joined earlier this month cuz I knew the way things were going it'd end up there... I guess none of these guys have kids... lol... That's the first skill u learn as a parent is blocking out stupid stuff
