I am being told that Cricket Phones cant have the Bootloader Unlocked. I find this hard to believe. Even with how much I'm struggling to get the bootloader unlocked on my nokia phone. Any ideas?
Well on my Z851M in developer options there's an option to enable "OEM unlocking". This might require the dialer code *#*#759#*#* to be run first and then the OEM Mode to be enabled.

You flip the toggle under OEM unlocking...
Unlocking the bootloader is a standard, supported feature of this device.
1) Go to About -> Build in the Settings menu.
2) Tap until you unlock Developer options in Settings.
3) Go into Developer options.
4) Enable OEM unlocking.
There really isn't anything special here as far as the bootloader is concerned.
Now, TWRP, root, and SIM unlock, those would be useful to figure out.

this doesnt unlock the bootloader. It just allows the bootloader to be unlocked by the OEM manufacturer
Trying to enable OEM unlocking from Developer options, its greyed out with "Connect to the internet or contact your carrier". This phone was purchased from the Google Store and therefore isn't SIM locked and it is connected to the Wi-Fi. I have tried to insert my SIM card and this hasn't changed anything.
I have tried to factory reset the phone again, this still leaves OEM unlocking greyed out. Any other solutions to be able to unlock OEM unlocking?
I support. I tried ALL methods of unlocking the bootloader and nothing worked

I also have the same issue as I have authentic Google pixel phone and my oem unlocking is grayed out too.
Hello everyone
I just received my brand new 5G OnePlus 8 T-Mobile edition!
The only reason I bought this phone is because I love modding and customizing.
I have unlocked developer setting but when I tried to unlock OEM bootloader it is grayed out...
Not sure what to do? Is there a working around to this issue?
Should I return it back
Please help thanks!!
You need to unlock network in order able to enable the "oem unlocking" toggle.
Otherwise try is llink to enable oem unlocking.
My phone shows unlocked on the official google website, yet the oem unlock option is greyed out. What is the issue with it?
Unlocked probably means Sim unlocked. You need to figure out why it's Grayed out. Samsung uses knox and kg status to block it. From being bootloader unlocked
I don't know if you've read all the other threads....
Which model do you have? If it's Google's "Unlocked" model (the one not made for any particular carrier), you should be able to unlock the bootloader.
I had to connect the Wifi, when I first bought the phone. Until then, the OEM unlock option was greyed & inactive.
Oneplus 8 UW IN2019. just did factory reset. I bought it on eBay and it said unlocked but I'm not sure.
I cannot find OEM unlock option anywhere (searching also won't work).
Tried to change system time, won't work.
Any help (check if the phone is unlocked or not; fixing the issue to help me unlock bootloader) is greatly appreciated!
Have you enabled the developer options?
You have to use the special MSMTool method in the "Guides" section of this device in XDA.
