Hey! So I just flashed the TWRP installer (https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/magisk-twrp-installer-xxx-nolimits-sm-n986b-exynos.4175455/) using Magisk and now my phone boots into download mode and I get the following error: "recovery: Error verifying vbmeta image: invalid vbmeta header (6)".
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance!
Edit: I have since fixed the issue.

Hello friends,
On my Pixel XL, I am trying to update my TWRP from 3.3.30 to 3.3.3.1 by installing the .img via TWRP recovery.
However, when I try doing that, I get the error message "size of image is larger than target device".
Anyone know what this means and how to fix this so I can install the updated .img?
Thanks!

Same error while flashing GSI. Im using "fastboot boot orangefox.img" to boot into recovery and I failed to install twrp using the zip.
You can't install the twrp/orangefox img. You have to get the installer (ZIP file) from the official twrp website.

So I was trying to install magisk using fastboot and it installed successfully however when I tried rebooting it it just kept booting into fastboot. I tried installing TWRP but I got an error = (FAILED (remote: Error verifying the received boot.img: Invalid Parameter) My bootloader is unlocked and any help will be great.
well twrp won't work if you are on 10, if 9 then it should. i'd flash the stock kernel first. make sure it is the boot.img from the firmware image you have installed. if that does not help then try to flash the most recent complete firmware image. you could edit out "-w" in the flash-all.bat or flash-all.sh look for the line fastboot -w update image-xxxxxx.zip and take out the -w to keep the update from wiping your data.

So I attempted to flash the boot.img file and got this error: FAILED (remote: Failed to write to partition Not Found)
And I tried the system.img file too and got a different error: FAILED (remote: Partition boot not found)
So finally I clicked the 'flash all' file and got this error: FAILED (remote: Failed to write to partition Not Found)
I installed the firmware from the google website.
have you tried a factory restore/reset from the bootloader menu?

Hi there!
I'm using the new POCO X3 NFC and I'm having trouble flashing Magisk using Orange Fox Recovery while getting this error:
"Failed to map file"
I've followed all steps in the thread to flash the recovery and I'm still getting this problem. First I unlocked my Bootloader, then I flashed TWRP from Fastboot and after that I flashed the .img file using TWRP and booted into Orange Fox. But then I get this issue when flashing Magisk.
Has anyone else face this issue? Any suggestions would be appreciated!
Thank you.
I'm in a bootloop on my Oneplus 6. I can get into fastboot, but can't flash or boot to recovery, as I get the above message. I'm thinking I need to follow the following procedure:

Any help much appreciated.
P.S. Do I need to flash stock rom? I was in the process of flashing LineageOS, but something went wrong when I went to flash the recovery.
Edit: Fixed this issue - i.e. no longer any error - by using
Bootloader error: FAILED (remote: Failed to load/authenticate boot image: Load Error)
Hey, so, I'm really sorry if this has been asked before, but I've searched far and wide for something I can do and I have run out of ideas. I tried a custom rom on my Oneplus 6 today and wanted to revert back to my old rom, which led to...

Root AP fully with magisk, then flash magisk AP, then use TWRP.
