Is it possible to apply custom rom based on Android 11 to D838 (LG G Pro2)? - General Questions and Answers

I think the D838 (LG G Pro2) is pretty good, but it's off the list of Lineage OS support devices.
They also gave Android 11 to the D802 (LG G2), which was lower than D838.
How likely is the Lineage OS team to put D838 on the support devices list?
Would it be faster to just buy a new device?
I'm using 7.1-based (Nougat) unofficial ROM (No Update....) and it just brings tears to my eyes.
Isn't there anyone who can breathe new life into the d838?
Does anyone know where to make a request for this?

LineageOS 18.1 what is based on Android 11 actually is available for 70 devices: yours is not among those and my guess is that devs of LineageOS will not provide a matching version for your LG G Pro 2 phone ( released in 2014 ).

The older model, G2, is also on the support list, so why not G Pro2.
There seems to be a good chance considering the performance and release date.

[Q] How to build/install Android M developer preview on my Moto G?

I am really excited about the new features in Android M that were just announced!! I see that the ROMs have been released for Nexus devices only ( developer.android.com/preview/overview.html)
Does anyone know how I can build one for my Moto G falcon from these images provided? Is it possible?

If it helps, I am running CM 12 nightly on my device now...

There is no source code to build. This is just a preview for developers, hence the Nexus only rollout.

Any Custom ROM like MiUi?

Hii,
I'm not demanding, but it would be nice to see an OS like MiUi on Moto G 2015. Is there any developer or team working on the same? Thank you!
You may have to wait a while.
Miui is based off of KitKat while the moto g was always started with lollipop. I'm afraid you'll only find 5.0+ ROMs for our device.

[Completed] CM13 for LG G2 Korean version

I have an LG F320K and I found that there is no CM13 version suitable for it. I am looking forward to the update of CM13 for this version. There are some unofficial ROM but they did not work very well. Can you release a CM13 official update for Korean version of LG G2 ASAP. Thanks a lot

Hi,
The purpose of XDA Assist is for newbies to find their way around XDA. We have no control over the decisions that CM makes.

P900 Lineage OS for Micro G - builds or mirrors?

A while back, when thompatry's Lineage OS build for the P900 had official status, the Lineage OS for Micro G project were offering builds based on it. As the device is no longer officially supported by Lineage OS, the Micro G project are no longer hosting the builds.
Does anyone have a backup of the last Micro G build, or a mirror for old builds? I did attempt a DIY de-googled Micro G clean install on my P900, and the results were messy, although I would also be happy with a link to a decent HowTo for doing it myself with a more up to date build.
Cheers!
