Any Custom ROM like MiUi? - Moto G 2015 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hii,
I'm not demanding, but it would be nice to see an OS like MiUi on Moto G 2015. Is there any developer or team working on the same? Thank you!

You may have to wait a while.
Miui is based off of KitKat while the moto g was always started with lollipop. I'm afraid you'll only find 5.0+ ROMs for our device.

[Q] How to build/install Android M developer preview on my Moto G?

I am really excited about the new features in Android M that were just announced!! I see that the ROMs have been released for Nexus devices only ( developer.android.com/preview/overview.html)
Does anyone know how I can build one for my Moto G falcon from these images provided? Is it possible?

If it helps, I am running CM 12 nightly on my device now...

There is no source code to build. This is just a preview for developers, hence the Nexus only rollout.

[Poll]SlimRoms For Moto G 3rd Gen [Discussion]

Hello Guys !
I have used many devices and found that the slimrom was the only most stable rom. This rom is very stable (device specefic) slim in size, simple, but still have lots of features. I do not know why there is not official SlimRoms thread or rom for moto g3, but i vote for this rom and looking farword for slimrom to this device and thanks to developers for their efforts. :good:
If anybody agree with me please vote for SlimRoms and also request the developers of opsrey to bring us this great rom.
Ya! I know there is an unofficial build of slimroms is there but it has some bugs and inactive for a long period of time. Thats why i am requesting developers to build this rom for our device.
Any chance of getting slim6?
If some developer is reading this can someone please build slim6 for moto g 3?
I thought SlimRom is dead?
Is anybody there who can build slim6 for our device ?
Its been a while but there is not a single response by any developer of moto g3. Please anybody there who could build an unofficial build of slim6?
Sent from my MotoG3 using XDA-Developers mobile app

any rom 4.4.4?

I'm wanting to do an miui port but couldn't find any 4.4.4 roms for my device (xt1225)
Does anyone got one?
No. Not a 4.4.4 ROM, but possibly a kernel.
The first custom ROM we got was CM12 (5.0.2) which was Lollipop, over a year ago (March 2015, before Motorola gave us Lollipop). The CM dev @Skrilax_CZ wrote the kernel for the CM ROM, and it was based on the Moto 4.4.4 kernel at the time -- even though it was Lollipop ROM.
Then, for CM12.1 (Lollipop 5.1.1), he used the Motorola 5.0.2 kernel sources.
But for that original CM12, the kernel was based on 4.4.4. He adapted it to work on Lollipop. So, not sure it would work with a 4.4.4 ROM. You would have to ask him.
ALL custom ROMs for the Quark in this forum, no matter whether CM-based (CM, Resurrection Remix, Sony Xperia) or AOSP (Mokee, Nexus Experience) use @Skrilax_CZ kernel. You will have to do the same, unless you want to write your own.
There were no 4.4.4 custom ROMs for this phone. Besides stock 4.4.4 factory image, the first custom ROM was CM12 (Lollipop).
Why do you want 4.4.4 custom ROM for this phone? It's not like MIUI is stuck on 4.4.4
I see a MIUI Marshmallow ROM right here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/len...rom-miui-lollipop-5-1-1-lenovo-a6000-t3304261
I see MIUI Lollipop here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/len...rom-miui-lollipop-5-1-1-lenovo-a6000-t3304261
Either Lollipop or Marshmallow MIUI would be your best bet to port, as you would have @Skrilax_CZ Lollipop or Marshmallow kernel to work with.
If you port Miui to whatever version I want try it

Most stable Nougat ROM

Can someone please quickly tell me their favourite/most stable Nougat ROMs for Moto G, I've been out of touch from the forums for a bit.
Thanks.
My favorite was [ROM][7.0.0_r19]AOSP+OMS/Substratum for Moto G![14th NOV]. But it has not been updated for quite a while now. My new favorite is [ROM][Falcon][7.1.1_r4][Nougat]Slim7 - UNOFFICIAL. No unwanted bs and super stable.
I'm a AOSP lover. my first fvrt krexus MM. 2nd fvrt is IDcrisis 6.
edit: sorry, I didn't noticed op asked about nougat.

Vanir or viperOS
did a rehash on all latest builds from respective noughat ROMs. very impressed with;
AOSP based;
pure-nexus very small footprint, has all the essential features
dirty-unicorns has all the features, still small footprint, latest october sec. patches
Lineage based;
i would vote lineageOS best, not bloated (like of old) at all still being actively developed. (vanir from the looks of it is almost identical to lineage)
Viper has again has most features.

After installing AOSP Extended.. I never have to think to cange the rom.... so my best is AOSP extended.
