Are you sure you have a 2020 Stylus & not a 2021? My Factory Unlocked 2020 Stylus did not receive Android 12.

Has ANYONE seen these at all, or is this some kind of Lenovo trick to say "look, we are putting out updates... I don't why you didn't get it" kind thing (doubtful, but who knows).
Just throwing this out there to stir the pot a little...
Checked on 6.0.1 with Marsh security patch but got nothing .. Don't know what Moto wanna tell us by this

Yes there is a thread for firmware files in general section where you can find the build for xt1550 with july security patches.
Some people are saying that they have successfully updated their phone with the security patch. I myself didn't see those. By any case, is it possible that the Motorola updater doesn't download security updates on unlocked bootloader devices (though that shouldn't be the case as per the FAQ)?

There is no sign the petition, even signed by over 16,800 users, has made any difference... We know Moto get an email with each and every signature, and yet they haven't even acknowledged it exists. Silence can be taken in many ways, maybe they think it will just go away if they ignore it, maybe they can't actually defend themselves for their decision, or maybe they just don't care.

Not absolute confidence, but absolute isn't necessary here, just significant confidence is enough... Moto has stated flat out the Moto G 2015 won't get Nougat, and they haven't wavered at all in that stance, there is no realistic reason to think otherwise.
But this thread isn't really about Nougat, but about the July and October security updates... which Moto wants people to think are out there somewhere.
Indian version is least aggressive in getting OTA updates

The simple answer is no and probably never, most likely end up "trebilizing" the ROM using something like CLT (capire le treble). We're not near that either though.

Now a days Motorola is very selfish dealings. They sold the devices with updates promise and then lastly forget it. older devices are updated to May Patch. Indirectly you have to buy a new phone with updated OS

Update rolling out different countries are at different time intervals. The forum contains several threads that discuss about OTA update and they are got mixed each other. So, I think it will be good for separate thread for discussion for XT1900-2 device.

There is a news in Android Central that Moto G5splus being updated to Android 8.1 Oreo. https://www.androidcentral.com/moto-g5s-plus-being-updated-android-81-oreo. Hope for an update for Moto X4 in June with Oreo 8.1 soon.

My X4's motherboard was replaced while servicing and now im on retapac software channel.. I have not recieved a single update since then.. Still on December patch.. anybody here has any idea about this? I did reset the phone in hope of software channel change but nothing

you can flash it with LG UP, but you will lose all data, I learned it the hard way.... the tuturial I read did not mention it...
What about using LG bridge and checking software update through that?
I have the Sprint LG G7 ThinQ. I'm going to try this later on this evening see if it's any different.

Not worth it till a exploit comes to install twrp and i can backup.

Just know LG in the past... G5 has received is last update with Oreo in december 2018, this december G6 will have Pie, in June 2020 G8 will receive Q and G7 too in december 2020.
there is no sign of pie for indian variant lg 710emw !!!!

I'm thinking the same thing. Also to the OP, I don't think people wanted Pie so much, as the timely updates that were promised between Google's Project Treble and LG themselves. Since a lot of people will be left on a locked bootloader, we actually have to wait for workarounds (exploits) to getting AOSP/Lineage/etc running. Sadly, this makes these phones less desirable for devs to work on/improve.
Impatient when it took a year ? Id biy a 50$ phone if i want no updates
I'll be moving onto another phone long before my G7 sees Android 10, not because I didn't my phone but because I'll have the itch for a new one before the end of next year.
I do like the Pie update I got from Verizon. I just wish the Pie update worked as well on my V30.
