Viper4Anroid working? - Google Pixel 4a Questions & Answers

Went several pages back didn't see anything on the topic. Just wanted to know if V4A is working on this phone on android 11, just wanted to check before I dive in and waste my time with failure and frustration for nothing.
[MOD][V4a][TUTORIAL] ViPER4Android - How to install
Thread to be closed.
forum.xda-developers.com
This thread looks dead, no one's posted since 2020 and the link to download is not the even right page. I wonder why that link is used and we aren't recommended to just install from magisk?
I just found even another tutorial on xda for V4A that uses the same dl link, I see other sites that have v2.7.1.0 available but I don't trust thosse sites...
Ok, update: wow nevermind, I read that page and I see xda is no longer hosting downloads. Well that is terrible news. Will have to look for other trustworthy alternatives I guess

Yes. I posted a fix over in the themes, apps, and mods forum.

HTC Dev Center Dead Links

I tried looking all over this forum as well as everywhere else I can think of but I cannot find the answer to my question.
I lost my T-Mobile G1 which was rooted and running cyanogenmod v4.2.6. I just received my replacement and in the process of rooting it and updating to the new cyanogenmod again, I found that the links on the HTC Dev Center site http://developer.htc.com/adp.html are all dead links, just plain text. I have downloaded the "1.6 Recovery Image" from here before, and now I do not know where else to find it.
Does anyone possibly have the file saved that could email it to me, or host it for download? I even called HTC tech support and they said that they do not host the dev website so they cannot help me. I would greatly appreciate any helpful input
Thanks

Very interesting. Back when the Google crackdown started, I was surprised HTC could keep a link with Goog apps up. Maybe this is the closing of that loophole.

What do you mean? The links to download still are not working...
I still have the 4.1.999 merged rom that has all google apps in it for easy an easier install just pm me if you want it.
well, the site looks different than I last remember it... but yeah the links still aren't working... sorry for not inclduing that in last post.
probably an incompatible browser
I've found that the HTC site won't work properly without IE. There is a popup window with the End-User License Agreement that you need to accept before the links are click-able. The site doesn't work in Firefox for me (though I have Adblock and No-Script installed), that could be the issue you're seeing.

The apps are licensed for use by htc on the adp1, so there's no loophole to close.

Post deleted?

I'm about to buy a Defy+ and saw a topic in this forum yesterday. called:

It has been deleted. Anyone know why or how I can get the mod now?

[Q] Can someone get this app from the android market?

Hello.
I am from Iran, and Google Play doesn't work here.
Can someone download the app 'VpnROOT - PPTP - Manager' and upload the apk somewhere?
I can't provide the link because I don't have 10 posts, sorry.
Thanks.
If this is against the rules, please delete this thread.
It's already on XDA, posted by the developer => http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1523954

I went to those sites, most of them included a link to Megashare and Fibreupload, but Megashare seems to be down and Fibreupload's link is dead.
Well, since it's free, here you go : https://docs.google.com/open?id=0B4_hudrVyPeQWkNfVW9oc244YW8
Let me know if that works.
Thank you, it worked.

[GUIDE] How to get February update via Play services

For those who don't have the latest update yet, try updating your Google Play Services app.
To download the latest version, visit this APKMirror link. Feel free to provide feedback if it triggered your February update.
Also, if you're having bootloops with other Feb patched_boot.img for Magisk root, try my version.

You're welcome! Thanks for the feedback!
thank you confirmed it works on first try install playservice - > Reboot > Checkupdate and install ...
made my day bro
Worked for me as well, cheers for this
Isn't the Feb update buggy? Lots of battery issues so a lot of OEM's are jumping straight to March or downgrading to Jan patch?
Can anyone please confirm if you more drain or any performance impact?
Worked. Not reboot needed.
Let's call a guide every app update suggestions... And cluter the forums... No offense to the OP, please don't misunderstand this.
But I feel strongly about opening threads for every minor tip. Why don't we all try to cooperate and maintain a clean forum by posting all suggestions in one thread?
I'm sure you can find the appropriate thread to post something like this.
I would give away all my thanks meter, if I could, just for that, to unite the efforts in keeping the forums organized.
Again, please don't feel offended by this. But try to understand the reason behind it.
Peace out!
Great! Thanks for this.

Hey man, I'm sorry for causing a little cluster in the forums. As much as I want to post on a different thread regarding this method, I'm sure not everyone from this subforum would see my reply there if I were to post this on a Feb update thread. I get what you mean, it's just that its easier to make a thread to ensure visibility for users who have yet to receive the update. I've yet to see someone post instructions such as this and took it into my own hands. I hope you understand my reason for sharing as well.
