I've flashed all of the below versions on my Mi A2 and they all share the same issue, the right headphone is much more quieter than the left, and almost silent if im wearing both at the same time. I dont know whats the issue here, I've tried searching for similar issues but no luck.
I used MiFlash to install all these versions. they all work perfectly fine apart from that issue, I have my headphones plugged into the phone using a type c converter to 3.5mm. Im pretty certain the problem isnt from the converter or the headphone as they were working fine before flashing, and I've tried other headphones and used another converter still the same issue. I had this issue the first time i ever flashed but it kinda solved itself, Idk what i did, I normally flashed the version and booted my phone and didn't have any issues.
These are the versions are installed several times

I've had my Nexus 5 for about 3 months and all of a sudden the right earphone has stopped working. I have tried many other earphones, but all of them fail to work on the right side. However, I find that when I give the plug a push to the left and hold it there, the sound in the right side works again. I am fairly noobish when it comes to these things so please help!
It's possible it's a hardware issue. But it may also be a kernel issue, I had the same problem about three weeks ago, figured it was my earbuds, then I switched to another pair.. And same happened.
Figured both sets were duds, the girlfriend used one of them on her phone and voila worked.
Soon as I switched the kernel, it was fine. I also had the issue if I moved the plug it caught sound briefly which initially lead me to believe it was the ear buds.

I have never changed the kernel though, I'm still running stock. So is it definitely a hardware problem then?
If you haven't changed the kernel then yes, it's a fair chance it'll be a hardware problem.
Yo guys, rooted my D6603 and installed AndroPlusKernel along with fauxclock, and now I discovered my headpone jack doesn't work. Any help?
Mine stopped working a few days ago (after about 5 weeks since I bought it). Mine is totally stock, seen some threads on sonys forum, but none with info that helps me solve the issue. Right know I use the app soundabout wich can force the sound to go via headphones instead of speakers. So the jack it self seems to work. But the phone is unable to detect that the headphones are plugged in.
So might not be the fact that you have changed the kernel that your jack isn't working.
It happened to me one time, i just flashed the latest firmware via flashtool and worked lik it shoukd.
You can also do it with Sony Pc Compagnion.

It happened to me as well, oh my god it was like my heart was going to be taken away and I decided to reboot my device.. And boom after the reboot process, it worked like a charm, one more thing, I've never root this device..
RE: OnePlus One Speakers not working!
Hello,
It has been almost 4 months since I bought my OnePlus One and for the past month my dual speakers haven't been working. There is no sound output even when people are calling me. I have to plug in an external speaker or headphones to listen to the audio. Other than that, I can hear nothing. I am currently on the new CM13.0-20151220 nightly and I installed it in hope that this is just a software problem and that a new update will fix it but it still hasn't worked. I've factory resetted and re-booted my phone several times. I've tried installing SoundAbout but that didn't work either. Can you guys help me out?
Sounds like a hardware issue since it remained after factory reset. If you are still under warranty raise an RMA on the website

Make sure your headphone jack is clean. If that doesn't help, go back to stock, using the recommended recovery to do it. Don't install any apps at all, and test the phone.
If that doesn't do it, then you can see about service because you'd be pretty sure it's hardware.
Hey guys,
So today my Pixel has been acting weird. I was listening to spotify on my phone's speakers and it suddenly got really quiet. Then a few minutes later they acted fine again. Now they wont emit any kind of sound, even the boot noise. But, when I plug in my headphones or bluetooth to my car all the sound works. Any ideas? Im running 7.1.2 rooted with EX and viper. I tried using SoundAbout to force sound through the speakers with no success.

try flashing the full stock pixel image and test speakers. (give it a day as it may work for a bit after flashing.)
this may seem like a software issue since it may work after restoring stock for a bit but it probably isnt.
if you still have the issue and its likely you will, contact google or your carrier depending on where you purchased it, to get a replacement. this is a known issue due to poor soldering.
Thanks Exad. Reverted everything to stock, did a factory reset, and nothing. Google is just going to replace it. Thanks for the advice.
