These are stock-based recovery flashable ROMs I've cooked up for the Cube iWork 10 Flagship (aka iWork 10 Ultimate), device i15-T(D).
They are all based on the stock build i15-T_V1.0_20160302, kernel version 3.14.37-x86_64-L1-R429 Wed Mar 2 18:22:46 CST 2016
I have tested these on my stock i15TD purchased directly from cube-tablet.com
If you are stock, unrooted with stock recovery you will need to go here first before you can use these.
WARNING: Flash at your own risk!!!
Make a full backup before flashing!
I would recommend wiping dalvik, cache, data & system before flashing.
For the Odexed versions a factory reset (dalvik, cache & data) will probably work. You might even be able to get away with a dirty flash if you're coming from the same stock build & kernel version, let me know
OTA: Will probably not work with the Stock Odexed version (I wouldn't try it anyhow) and definitely not work with any of the others as I've removed all the OTA stuff in them.
Descriptions
Stock Odexed NoRoot 552.4 MB
-Nothing has been touched here except for changing default location/language, so it boots up in English
Stock Odexed Debloated NoRoot 484.7 MB
-Same as above except debloated
Stock Odexed Debloated Root 489.0 MB
-Same as above and rooted
Stock Deodexed Debloated Root 417.03 MB
-Fully deodexed, debloated and rooted
Stock Deodexed Debloated Root NoGoogle 368.06 MB
-All the stock google stuff has been removed so you can flash a real gapps of your choice. (I have tested opengapps pico and recommend)
Instructions (remember, make a full backup first!)
Boot into TWRP, wipe dalvik, cache, data & system
Flash ROM
If you didn't wipe system in step 1 then go back to main screen, "Mount", select "system"
(if you're flashing the NoGoogle version, then flash gapps now)
Reboot
Enjoy
Thanks
@SuperR. -for the great kitchen
@vampirefo -for TWRP

Thanks for the heads-up man -going to get started tomorrow on cooking up some ROMs for this version...
Sent from my OnePlus2 using XDA Labs
Turns out that build (20160412) is NOT lollipop 5.1.1, still 5.1. No big differences I can tell so far except for lack of play store/services and a bit less bloat. The boot animation is different (not Chinese cube one but text "TOPWING" ???). The device ID is also different.
I think I'll be holding off on making additional zips for this until there's a more serious and official update...

Hi jet, thanks for the tutorials!
I tried to install gapps but I get the error that there's insufficient storage available in system.
Did you get the same error? I'd like to use the stock installer.
According to the logs I have NO free system space.
Edit: I fixed it, might want to mention that you shouldn't forget to mount system!

Yeah, I didn't add it initially because if one wipes system before flashing then it's already mounted. It's the weird location of system partition on this tablet, opengapps (and supersu) install scripts can't mount it.
But, yeah it should be there as you pointed out, so I added it.
Thanks, and enjoy!

Ow, yeah, I had to because TWRP has issues remounting an otg mounted storage device, that might explain why it failed for me.
I just tried installing xposed and it got stuck in a bootloop, not a big issue as I've backed it up and haven't done much so far, but do you know if it's possible to install it?
And, heck, because I'm asking anyway, have you tried reinstalling windows? I'd like to install windows 10 enterprise on this tablet. Might save me the trouble from going to techtablets.

I haven't tried xposed yet myself on this tab, but one guy over on my howto thread mentioned he tried and also ended up in a bootloop. Too much other stuff going on now but when I get around to xposed, if i get it working, I'll post here.
Sorry, can't help you on the windows side at all, in fact this iWork 10 is the first windows machine I've had in years, just android & ubuntu for me these days...
The people at techtablets are more keyed into the windows side of this tab, especially Laura. I'd recommend asking there.
It's the same tablet this and mine that have a Dual Boot (Windows 10 + Android 5.1.1).
And guys, any web page to follow curiosity of this tablet? mods, ROMS, etc...
What I *really* dislike about this tablet:
NO XPOSED... always destroys the bootup of android...
sdk22 x86 is the correct version, but not supported by this tablet... meh

I've had similar before on other devices, flashing a different opengapps (like nano instead of Pico) or older opengapps or even other gapps package has usually worked... Note that you would want to reflash the rom and immediately following flash the gapps

I repackaged the xposed zip to also install a patched system linker removing the pie requirement for binary execution. Just a cosmetic change cause modern binaries compiled for android meet the requirement anyways. I also can upload a tweaked kernel boot image if anyone is interested. You could also repackage the zip to install a tweaked build.prop or other patched binaries which could open some doorways for improvements to performance or device functionality. Install in TWRP recovery environment. Enjoy!
Does this zip contain only linker or something else ?
Can I use this in mediatek variant of e4 ?
EDIT: 4 views and only one thank . This is how XDA users being generous to someone's post right now . LOL Just pressed the download button and don't bother to press thanks button.

I didn't download it, but definitely thanked. Love seeing development for this phone. I installed regular Xposed and it worked ok. I was going to try it later when I further understood the benefits.

So what's the benefit to removing pie? Just curious because the regular Xposed 88.2 worked fine for me.
Update: ok I did some reading, and found that removing that requirement can prove useful in certain situations.
Because Google in the update from Android KitKat to Android Lollipop has introduced a new type of restriction that blocks the execution of non-PIE binary.
This block mainly forces the user to copy the binaries he wants to run in /system/bin, /system/xbin, or in /sbin.
This restriction stops executing some apps (also app no-root), this modified version removes that restriction.
Doesn't seem to be working on the xt1776 though the official zip doesn't work either.

[OBSOLETE] @yshalsager As of 8.8.16 flashable TWRP non ARB Firmware now available see thread.
[GUIDE] Updating Modem, Bluetooth and DSP! ~~~ Without triggering ARP on WHYRED!
For anyone on customs rom and need to updated the above partitions?
The commands to flash them in fastboot are: -
Code:
fastboot flash modem NON-HLOS.bin
fastboot flash bluetooth BTFM.bin
fastboot flash dsp dspso.bin
pause
I just created a bat file (windows) with the above content.
All I need do in future is download a firmware from here, extract the three files and place the bat file in the same folder, and run it.
^^^ Note I have adb/fastboot setup with a global path in windows.
Haven't tested in operation yet but in theory should work. I'm on 8.7.5 Beta firmware at present and see no need to update until the custom rom in use requires update files.
Above 3 files have been reported safe to flash here (Thanks @aank) , without effecting the bootloader, so not to trigger ARP.
First two files are self explained.
DSP (Digital Signal Processor)
[INFO] ANDROID DEVICE PARTITIONS and FILESYSTEMS
Attached is a sample bat file, just remove the .txt from the end of the file name.
I posted this before in the Everything About Anti Roll-back [Whyred] by @AL_IRAQI , but would probably get lost there.
Edit: - Edited the batch file to include a "pause", in case you double click instead of running in CMD/POWERSHELL window.
Cool, hope it works if i ever need it. Thanks
thx tested it, it works, i am still on anti 3 after updating these 3
does this improve signal reception? when I'm using any custom rom, my signal is really bad, but in MIUI it isn't, it's really great and it's full.

It may depend on the custom rom your on?
What was your last MIUI firmware?
Updating/downgrading the modem to the working version may help/improve things.
@corkiejp Do you recommend flashing the firmware files from 9.5.19 or the ones from 8.7.26 when moving to a custom rom?

I'm on Arrow OS right now.
But after I do the steps above, it seems like nothings changed.
The signal is still the same.
It's happening on all custom ROMs, is it because my providers?
Edit: I was on 8.7.26 (Masik U 2.2)
@eyebiz
I would stick with whatever firmware your device has at present. It is probably more recent than firmware recommend by custom roms.
There is really no reason to update firmware, if your device is working well with what you have!
If the rom recommends a specific firmware, then you may need to upgrade, but don't downgrade firmware to match.
If I'm flashing firmware, I usually use the version from beta roms, as that is often the more recent firmware.
I only update roms, once a month when security patches included. And patch the firmware at the same time.
@rizdar Your network provider maybe the problem, check your APN settings with the recommend settings of your provider.
The three files mentioned in this thread, may not be alter from one firmware to the next. It is usually the bootloader (which we need to avoid for ARP) that regularly changes.
You could compare files and hashes from different firmware to see if there is changes.
Hi @corkiejp
I've created TWRP flashable .zip with latest stable modem, dsp and bluetooth here :
https://drive.google.com/file/d/1eYys31FFgdxz4GyMFgMiuvoTWwwgER1Y/view?usp=drivesdk
The ARB should be fine as well,
I've tried myself, flashed it on top of 9.6.3 fw less ROM.
@otonieru Saw your post in the firmwareless rom thread. Are you same person that was creating these zips on xiaomi.eu?
Had a look at the script again, looks safe.
It would help if you labeled the zip with the date/version of firmware. i.e. Global 8.8.16.
Also I thought you where going to remove unneeded files. Don't know what update binary script does?
Edit: - Waiting on a RR rom update before flashing new partial firmware.

Oh, no, am not on xiaomi.eu. Just happen to look around the fw less thread, and it seems there's a need for a TWRP flashable zip for radio only update,
I use firmware file from git, and merged it with TWRP flashable zip. Only, i edit the updater script to make it only flash modem, bluetooth and DSP.
I didnt delete too much files from firmware update folder, only one i think is really safe to delete.
Alright, i will modify the file name.
It contain 8.8.16 Global files.

Have you a link to git, it would be easier to just download the three files for me, than extracting them from Firmware zips.
Apparently those firmware files are safe. I flashed them with a .zip file I put together. For anyone that wants to try you can download it from here.
Looks like @yshalsager is also going to provide update zips with just the three files as well.
@otonieru @Ookami999 He must of edited his automatic script to create the zips.

It may or may not help your situation. If your worried about your anti version, there is non arb firmware zips available with just them files.
VoLTE is broken on most PIE roms (I believe based on discussions in TE) , check your rom thread and see if anyone else has it working. Or if there is Patch to enable it.
I'm proud to present the first dual boot project for the Samsung Galaxy S9+ Snapdragon version. This project started off as a feature in my ROM, but not anymore. This will allow any number of ROMs to be installed at the same time. It works by patching the secondary ROM's installation scripts and boot image to load the ROM files from an alternate location (/system/multiboot, /cache/multiboot, and /data/multiboot). Because of the way this is implemented, no changes to the primary ROM are necessary.
NOTE
Treble-based ROMs are NOT supported(yet)! In-app ROM changing may not work on stock ROM (maybe it works, maybe not) so you have to use utilities.zip or flash the boot.img of every ROM! I do not own a S9+ so I rely on you guys!
Donators
A huge thanks goes out to all of the donators for supporting this project! I if forgot to add you (and you want to be added), please send me a quick PM.
See all of our supporters here
It patches...
Custom kernels for dual boot support
ROMs so that they can be installed as secondary
Google Apps packages for AOSP-based ROMs
SuperSU so that it can be used in the secondary ROM
NOTE: If you want to dualboot a TouchWiz ROM, I highly recommend installing TW as the primary ROM. Otherwise, any mods will need to be patched before flashing.
How to use the patcher
Android
Download the patcher apk and run it. Tap "Patch Zip File" from the navigation drawer and choose the file you want to patch.
After patching the zip file, a new file, like some_rom_dual.zip file will be created. For example, patching ktoonsez's
KT-SGS4-JB4.3-AOSP-TMO-08.28.2013.zip
would create a new
KT-SGS4-JB4.3-AOSP-TMO-08.28.2013_dual.zip
Instructions for dual booting
Before doing anything, download the Dual Boot Patcher app and the DualBootUtilities.zip from the download section below.
The patcher offers several locations for installing ROMs:
Primary: This is normally used for installing a zip to the primary ROM. It is not required, but is strongly recommended because it has code to prevent the zip from inadvertently affecting other ROMs.
Dual: Dual/Secondary is the first multiboot installation location. It installs to the system partition. This is a good spot for installing a second ROM because it doesn't take any space away from the internal storage.
Multi-slots: There are 3 multislots: multi-slot-1, multi-slot-2, multi-slot-3. These install to the cache partition. This is specifically for devices, like the Galaxy S4, that have a massive cache partition.
Data-slots: There can be an unlimited number of data slots. These install to the data partition and eat up space on the internal storage. This is useful for devices where the system partition is nearly full and the cache partition is tiny. These slots are named "data-slot-[id]", where "id" is something you provide in the app.
Extsd-slots: There can be an unlimited number of extsd slots. These install to the external SD card, which is useful as it keeps the ROMs off of the internal storage. Note that the ROM's data files are still stored on the data partition.
With that said, let's get to the "how to"!
First, boot into your primary ROM and install the Dual Boot Patcher app
Open the app and go to "Roms" in the navigation drawer. It will ask if you want to set the kernel. Make sure that you do.
Go to "Patch zip file" in the navigation drawer and patch the ROM or zip you want to install. You can select one of the installation locations described above.
Well, Just flash the patched zip file via recovery (Custom Recovery, like TWRP of course)
A normal backup from recovery will backup every ROM. If you would like to back up ROMs individually, please see @rlorange's awesome tool: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2491299
How do I...?
Switch the ROM if something doesn't work properly?
You can flash the DualBootUtilities zip from recovery. It will provide a menu interface that allows switching to the various ROMs.
If you have TWRP, you can also switch manually by tapping Install -> Images (bottom right) -> Go to /sdcard/MultiBoot/[Your ROM]/ -> flash boot.img.
Wipe /cache, /data, /system, or dalvik-cache?
The easiest way is to do it from the app while booted in another ROM. Just go to "Roms" in the navigation drawer, tap the 3 dots options menu for the ROM you want to wipe, and tap "Wipe ROM".
Alternatively, flash the DualBootUtilities zip from recovery, which will also allow you to wipe a ROM.
NOTE: Don't use the recovery's built-in wiping abilities as that may delete non-primary ROMs!
Update the primary ROM?
Patch the zip for primary and flash it. The "primary" installation target is designed so that other ROMs won't be affected when you want to flash something for the primary ROM.
Update a non-primary ROM?
Patch and flash the zip exactly like how you did it the first time.
Flash a mod or custom kernel for the primary ROM?
Patch it for primary before flashing. If the zip does not wipe /cache, it is also safe to flash it directly.
Flash a mod or custom kernel for a non-primary ROM?
Just patch and flash it

What do you mean with "for anyone"?
This self-compiled patcher works for S9+ Exynos and Snapdragon, but the official one works with around 150 devices.
One user asked me to make a version of DBP for S9+, so I did. (I dont own a S9+).
It should work with (nearly) every ROM, except for TouchWiz ROMs as second

Sorry, I mean for anyone with an s9+. I only ask because it was my understanding that dualbootpatcher doesn't support treble devices. Then I read this as well
https://github.com/chenxiaolong/DualBootPatcher/issues/1389 where chenxiaolong said treble devices weren't supported.
Edit: I added my device (xiaomi mi mix 2s) and compiled from chenxiaolong's sources, I can patch and flash ROMs, but the secondary roms get stuck in a boot loop
Original dbp as of now doesn't work on devices that have fstab inside dtb. If you've managed to find a workaround, can you share it please?

Sorry, Im not a "real" dev.
All I did was following the instructions from the DBP wiki.
Is there anyone that can make a modded version of this that will work on non rooted phones and it doesn't have to be a dual boot patcher but just to get a different ROM running on top or VNC into and use. Maybe like a dual ROM runner.
