[BOOTANIMATION] MARVEL LOGO - Samsung Galaxy A20 Themes, Apps, and Mods

Custom MARVEL-Logo Bootanimation for AOSP-Based ROMs
JUST BECAUSE THIS IS POSTED IN THE SAMSUNG GALAXY A20's FORUM - IT DOES NOT MEAN THAT IT WILL ONLY WORK FOR THIS DEVICE. IT WILL WORK WITH OTHER DEVICES THAT SUPPORT "bootanimation.zip" ASWELL.
These Bootanimations will not work on OneUI ROM's due to Samsung changing the way bootanimations are processed. Samsung's OneUI uses 'QMG' files. I DO NOT MAKE QMG's.
Below is a preview of the Bootanimation, I had to make it into a GIF file so it doesn't play as smooth as the 60FPS that you will see when its booting up.

I have made 3 methods that a user can install this bootanimation, 2 of the methods require ROOT while 1 requires only Custom Recovery.
Installation Methods :
Method 1 - bootanimation.zip
Copy my "bootanimation.zip" to "system/media/". Replace or backup your current bootanimation.zip if you don't like mine. ( NOTE : If the permission for the file is not 0644 , make sure to set it before you reboot otherwise the animation won't show upon boot )
Method 2 - Magisk Module
Download [MAGISK] MARVEL_Bootanimation_by_KineSight.zip to your device and flash it as a module in Magisk. You can disable to remove the module to uninstall it.
Method 3 - Flash in Custom Recovery
Download [FLASHABLE] MARVEL_Bootanimation_by_KineSight.zip to your device. Boot into Custom Recovery and flash the file. ( NOTE : This method will backup your bootanimation.zip by renaming it to "bootanimation.zip.bak" , if you want to uninstall mine - just delete bootanimation.zip and rename your "bootanimation.zip.bak" back to "bootanimation.zip" )
I made this bootanimation from scratch, if you like my work please hit the "Thanks" Button.
There might be more to come in the future.
DO NOT USE OR UPLOAD THESE FILES ANYWHERE WITHOUT MY PERMISSION.
Special Thanks :
@Chatur27 for creating the Custom Recovery Flashable zip.

Will it work on stock rom magisk systemless root?

No it will not. It will work on any other ROM besides OneUI / a ROM that doesn't support "bootanimation.zip".

It wouldn't damage anything if you did. Samsung OneUI only looks for .QMG files not Bootanimation.zip upon boot.

Based on the guide that provided by Android Authority
Copy the corresponding bootanimation.zip to your devices SDCard. Using Root Explorer or ES File Explorer, place the new bootanimation.zip file in /system/media/. (You may want to backup your previous bootanimation.zip as well.)
You can also use "boot animation changer" it less of a hassle then go trough the exploren.
Just a tip, select the boot animation you want and youre golden. I am just lazy.
You can also just copy it to /data/local.
Android will use the /data/local boot animation before /system/media.
No need to backup the boot animation in /system/media.
If you want to go back to the original boot animation, just delete the one you copied to /data/local.
Problem half bootanimation
Hi
I'm sorry but I have a problem with this bootanimation.
I copy the bootanimation as bootanimation.zip into the folder /data/local/, when I restart my device, I have only the part0 of the bootanimation.
Do you know what's happens and if there is a solution?
Thanks
I find the solution, there are two ".db" files in the filder part0 and part1,
to do it working, you have to delete these files.
Bye
Also make sure you give the boot animation full permissions after you move it to /system/media or /data/local.
fantastic, I've previusly the 9th bootanimation but it was a little slow....this one goes faster (as the gif you posted) thank you very much

Custom Recovery File Manager!!!!

Just found this cool recovery file manager so thought should share.Find the original post here.
Aroma file manager lets you manage the file system(copy, cut, paste, delete, make new folder, etc) from both sdcard as well as the root of the device just like any other file manager out there but hold on here's the catch you can do all that from the RECOVERY(well custom recovery to be exact).
The best part is it has a nice touchscreen interface. You can touch and hold on the file to set permissions too.It even has includes a terminal emulator. And you can set themes in it and fonts etc etc.
So all in all a great option to have in case you mess up.No more flashing the whole ROM again just because you messed up with a few apks or files and ended up bootlooping.
So to get started the installation is pretty simple:
1.Copy the zip into your sdcard.
2.Reboot your device into recovery mode.
3.Choose install from sdcard.
4.Select the AROMA Filemanager ZIP.
And there you go the file manager will start up!!!
Edit: To access the system and other folders which are not showing you'll have to mount them first.it's just a one time process actually.
Go to settings and select auto mount all devices at start.apply and reflash the zip you'll get access to everything.!!!
Find the download in the attachment below.

No bro..
This can be flashed only on custom recovery like bootmenu or bootstrapper.the thing is if you are doing some modding or playing around with your system and end up bootlooping(while having the custom recovery)you can correct your wrong doing by this.or even if you wanna copy something to from sdcard while in boot loop or softbrick this will come in handy.

[MOD/THEME]Off Screen Charging MOD

Before We Start
Disclamer:
By doing his to your phone you take full responsibility to whatever happens on your device. The developer will NOT be held responsible to whatever happens on your device. Of course, this has been tested but whatever happens on your device will not be held against the developer.
Now to the good stuff
Today I Will Show You How To Modify The Off Screen Charging Images To Your Liking
Things you will need :
[*]M8 Duh
[*]Computer With Fastboot
[*]A Photo Editor
[*]A Tool To Unpack Recovery.img's
[*]About 10 to 30min of your time
Common Sense
So Lets Get StartedFirst Decompile Your IMG I will Be Using This To Decompile My IMG
if your using the same tool as me then drag and drop the img on unpack.bat as seen in the picture
next navigateramdisk
res
offmode_charging_images
this is where we will be doing our modifying
Now that you have your img decompiled and your in the offmode_charging_images folder
open up your fave image editor I will be using gimp(because its free and im broke lol)
key things here I kept my images at stock depth 600x362 I did not go any higher as I would think it would mess up you can try your self if you can go higher tell ME!!!
Now if you made pngs the format go's like this 0,1,2,3,4 the rest 5,6,7,8 and 9 just loop the first ones so just copy them and rename if you did not make new pngs just overwrite them
once your done messing with the pngs repack the imgs with the unpackimg.bat
now take image-new.img and put it in your fastboot folder and flash it with fastboot
Code:
flash recovery image-new.img
*NOTE* check to see if you can get in to recovery after flashing your new one
if not you messed up some where
now power down your device and plug it in if you see your new modified images congrats

If you are using what is in the title, you can ALSO download the apk file.Install the app and enable it.Done!Doing the other way is for custom recovery users AND not custom ROM Users.Good luck flashing the zip. This zip way is a bit risky but you know what they say:"Your Warranty is VOID".
Apk file: www. androidfilehost .com/?fid=24052804347796020
*After installing the apk file,go to Themes=>Boot Animation and choose Android Marshmallow.
Reboot and Enjoy!

[FONT] Sinhala Font for Android (Lollipop/Marshmellow)

ADD SINHALA FONT SUPPORT FOR ANDROID
(Lollipop/Marshmallow)(Or Based Roms)
When you go to a website which contains Sinhala fonts and see Boxes instead of fonts !!!! Then you're in the right place
! YOUR PHONE MUST BE ROOTED OR CUSTOM RECOVERY INSTALLED TO FOLLOW THIS GUIDE !
If you don't know what is "Root" or how to root your device, Then this is NOT for you (You've got a lot to learn).
Two methods can be used to install sinhala fonts :
1. Custom Recovery Method (Recommended)
2. Root Method
You can use any method you prefer. Download links to all needed files can be found at the end.
Custom Recovery Method :1. Download "Android Sinhala Fonts Flashable" zip file.
2. Copy it to your phone's SD card.
3. Boot into custom recovery & flash it.
4. Reboot. Done!
Root Method :1. Download "NotoSansSinhala-Regular.ttf" & "NotoSansSinhala-Bold.ttf" font files.
2. Copy them to your phone's SD card.
3. Download "Root Browser" from Play Store (I recommend Root Browser).
4. Locate copied font files using Root Browser.
5. Copy them to the fonts folder ("/system/fonts/") using Root Browser.
6. Set permissions " rw-r--r-- / 644 " for both font files. (HOW?)
7. Reboot. Done!

You'll have to edit fallback_fonts.xml manually. Use this guide -> https://medium.com/@malinthe/how-to-get-perfect-sinhala-text-on-android-4-4-f080fdc45bce#.wxjpxglh9
I installed sinhala fonts for redmi 3 lineage os but still can not read sinhala web.
