Warp Charge animation like OPPO and Xiaomi - OnePlus 8T Questions & Answers

Anyone know how we could enable the decimal percentage of the device charging up to stay longer like the OPPO and Xiaomi phones?

Does Oppo VOOC charger work with Oneplus 6 ?
Dash charging will work properly, right ?
I'm asking because Oppo charger is cheaper in my country.
Yes it's the same concept.

Will older OnePlus chargers still Dash Charge (20W) on the OP7P?

The OP7P will have the Warp Charge (30W), but...
...will my older OnePlus chargers still Dash Charge (20W) on the OP7P?
Great question! I wonder the same thing, I have 4 chargers already! And I really hope they will be compatible.
Wondering the same thing
No guarantee: I've heard you can charge the OnePlus 7 Pro with Dash and older OnePlus Devices with Warp. Of course the charging speed doesn't change.
While I was doing some reverse engineering of the Pie OxygenOS during GravityBox development I came across
some hints leading to believing that older dash chargers should be supported on the newer devices having warp charge.
In particular:
Code:
.method public onFastChargeChanged(I)V
.locals 9
.param p1, "fastChargeType" # I
fastChargeType is later tested for 3 values.
0 - no fast charging
1 - fast charging (which I believe is when old dash charger is used)
2 - warp fast charging
Of course, it is still possible such logic is there to cover different types of devices with different charging designs
but in that case, as a developer, I would rather use different approach - device specific config overlay (framework config) instead of
testing for all possible charging types.
I can confirm: I just plugged my T-Mobile OP7 into my dash charger from my old OP6T and it displayed "Charging rapidly" on the lockscreen.
Old OnePlus Dash / Fast charge cables charge the 7 Pro at full Warp 30 speed

I used my Dash Charge car charger and it charged up my OPO7 Pro extremely fast.

Question on which car charger to get

Will the 45w fast charger for samsung note 10 plus be compatible with warp charge for my 7 Pro? Or, will a oneplus car charger with warp charge still fast charge the note 10 plus??
Or which charger should i get for the fastest charging possible for both phones in mind?

Warp charging is OnePlus specific. It requires heat management on the charger side, and only a Warp-specific charger will do that. I remember from the OnePlus 3T (which had "Dash" charging, of which Warp is just an updated version) folks found that Oppo "VOOC" chargers were compatible with the 3T's Dash charging. One person said that Dash was simply a rebranding of the VOOC fast charging technology (and in fact just same charger but different color and band name on it). Oppo owns a part of OnePlus, and I think OnePlus even uses Oppo's manufacturing facilities, if I remember correctly. So it might be the same with Warp (an Oppo charger may work).
Otherwise, no other charger is going to work unless it says OnePlus and Warp on it.
I don't follow Samsung very closely. I remember their fast charging being proprietary, but not as "picky" as OnePlus. It's not a choice on the OnePlus/Warp side. So you should probably start with the Warp car charger, and see if it fast charges on the Note 10. That's probably the best you can do.
It has definitely become a problem that phone fast-charging technology is not standardized. Too many companies want to use their own proprietary fast charging system, to differentiate themselves from the competition (and to credit OnePlus, Warp is pretty darned impressive!). Qualcomm tried to standardize this, for at least phones with Snapdragon chipsets, with their Quick Charge (QC) technology. But there are even some companies (I think Samsung is one) that disabled QC on Snapdragon phones. And of course, not all phones use Snapdragon chipsets.

how to know if my 33 watt charger damaged or not?

Hi everyone i have question i recently bought poco f2 pro when i use the 33 to watt charger with stock cable to charge my old oneplus 3 it rapidly disconnects and reconnects but if i change the cable to oneplus usb c cable it charges with out disconnecting in the other hand if i use poco f2 pro usb c cable with any other charger including orginal oneplus dash charger to charge the op3 it charges slow but normally without disconnecting. the only combination that makes the problem is xiaomi 33 watt charger with its usb c cable and op3 . The charger and cable seems to work with poco f2 pro and my old galaxy s2 just fine. Now my question is if any of you guys have oneplus 3 or 3t and also xiaomi 33watt charger with its cable(like the one included in poco f2 pro k30 pro or mi10 and even note 9pro i think) could you please test this if this happen to you too? Because i had problem with power extender and i don't know if my 33watt xiaomi charger got damaged or the combination of xiaomi usb c cable and 33watt charger is just not compatible with oneplus 3 because if the charger is damaged i should not really charge anything with it anymore. but i can't see any sign except problem with op3+poco f2pro charger+poco f2pro cable....
That would be very much appreciated if any of you guys can help me.
Op3 uses a different type of charging technology. Poco uses Qualcomm 4.0 which sends high voltage to the device to charge it. Op3 uses it's own proprietary charging which sends a higher amperage to the device. So yeah, not sure if it should do this, but they're not compatible with eachother
Check Ampere app in Play store mine its 4500/5000 this charging speed its good

OnePlus/ Oppo compatibility

Hi everyone!
Let's see if anyone here can help me, because OnePlus community, Oppo community were silent on this question, and the answer on Amazon was generic and useless.
So I currently use a OnePlus 9 Pro.
What we formerly knew as Dash Charge and then Warp charge now uses the same name as Oppo's fast charging technology; SuperVOOC.
I was looking for OnePlus 65w chargers on Amazon and Oppo's SuperVOOC 65W charger came up. 1. So my first question is, would that work at maximum speed with my OP9 Pro?
Also, as Oppo and OnePlus wireless chargers are visually identical and by the 50W, are they also mutually compatible? Like, if I purchased a OnePlus 50w wireless charger and then upgraded to a (hypothetical) Oppo Find x6 Pro in 2023, would the Oppo work on a OnePlus wireless charger and Vice-Versa?
Thanks to everyone who answers. Good health to everyone?
Everything will work fine if u use the OnePlus charger on oppo phone or the other way. I got OnePlus 9 pro and i use 100w oppo charger and it showing on screen when i plug in 65w which is the max for the phone to charge.
In conclusion oppo and OnePlus accessories and charger and cable are the same from the same manufacturer the only different is the logo and the colour of the cable. And what i found oppo accessories are way cheaper than OnePlus website even on there 80w car charger. The only different is the logo print.
