Due to the disrespect of certain members I will no longer share the tutorials.
This is great...want to get this done today, I ran into issues yesterday as things worked but just lagged a little bit without google services and I couldn't get micro g to install, now I know how to do that thanks! One thing I don't know how to do is root, because I have the AT&T version (XT2113-5) it's basically the same, just 4gb ram and only 64gb storage and a different color, but the apps can't be moved to the SD card and so it fills up fast. So I need root. How did you achieve root? I understand it might be slightly different for my version of the device, but it would be nice to have a try anyhow. Thanks!

If the AT&T bootloader can be unlocked use my root guide. I just don't know if they allow it (especially since AT&T owns verizon and they both tend to lock the phones down). No bootloader unlock equals no root.

As always, you are responsible for your own phone, I ascertain no responsibility if you mess up. Do this AT YOUR OWN RISK.
The Metro PCS variant has almost 20GB out of 128GB in use out the box, mostly with stock phone apps I never use. Deleting them has been a challenge, so here's a noob friendly guide to trying to get stuff out. Granted, I'm using the RETEU version but its STILL alot to delete.
Special shout out to @Alecxs who hit me up at the right time while I was researching how to get Message functionality back. It's because of him that I've updated this guide for people that may be stuck or not know what to do after they "clean" their devices. I've been tinkering with this phone for nine straight days. I pretty much know what makes it tick, lol.
***NOTE***
I figured out a definitive it's safe to delete list on this phone, mostly because of how this phone hides the crap we want to get rid of in the OEM. I will be including a com list in this post for those interested trying to figure out what is the name of pesky files they want to get rid of. You can't simply use Titanium Backup to remove native apps anymore (and on my device this INCLUDES FACEBOOK, which I can't stand). It does not work on Android 10 AT ALL. This seems for now the only concrete method to remove the apps that don't want to leave from your phone. You can still use Titanium Backup to remove apps that are not native to your phone.
As this is crappy Android 10/Q, you need to know that by deleting Google Play Services many apps you ran on Pie and older may not run on this, especially if they have any affiliation with Google! Have replacement apps ready to go to totally be non-dependent on Google's ever encroaching reach.
Things you need:
1. Newest version of Root Explorer arm compatible version (later versions DO NOT WORK). This is to check and make sure things deleted as they should and folders/files aren't hanging on.
2. Root (This is a must). Can't access system files without it.
3. Minimal ADB and Fastboot (Or whatever you're using for ADB, I'm on Windows 7)
4. Moto One 5G Ace Power cable
The following you only need if you're proceeding with Step Three:
5. F-Droid. This is necessary because deleting the Google Play Services Framework is going to make the device apps wonky with consistant pop up errors. So I downloaded that trying to get Micro G and stumbled upon something that works great.
6. Franco Kernel Manager. This is necessary because this sweet piece of software is how we're flashing MicroG.
7. MicroG. This is important and getting on that supports Android 10. I got mine from the official GitHub here: https://github.com/FriendlyNeighborhoodShane/MinMicroG_releases/releases/. I used this version: MinMicroG-Minimal-2.9-20201128144744.zip.
Please keep in mind my bootloader is unlocked, I have Root, and I have R/W access on my partitions. Proceed with caution and at your own risk.
Step One - Read. Very Important. Read This Entire Guide To Figure Out How To Proceed. If you're not sure about deleting something, ask questions FIRST. Also, there's google. Put the package name in google and it will tell you what it is and what it does.
Step Two - Use @ATTACK's suggestion from another post the Amazon Fire trick.
Below is a list of packages that came with the phone.

MARCH/APRIL 2021 UPDATE: Due to Google putting automatic contact tracing COVID19 software on the phone via Playstore, I've updated the list as I use NO google products now and download everything I need from APKPure.
If you want to get rid of the contract tracing app, it's com.google.android.gms (Google Play Services).
These are the ones I've safely removed without any system problems:
Facebook:
com.facebook.services
com.facebook.katana
com.facebook.system
com.facebook.appmanager
Google:
com.android.vending (Google Playstore)
com.android.chrome (Chrome Browser)
com.android.hotwordnerollment.okgoogle (Google Assistant Listening Device)
com.android.hotwordnerollment.xgoogle (Google Assistant Componenet)
com.google.android.gm (Gmail)
com.google.android.calculator (Calculator)
com.google.android.calendar (Calendar)
com.google.android.syncadapters.calendar (Calendar Sync)
com.google.android.contacts (Google Contacts)
com.google.android.syncadapters.contacts (Google Contacts Sync)
com.google.android.videos (Google Play Movies and TV)
com.google.android.googlequicksearchbox (Google Search Bar On Home Pg)
com.google.android.youtube (Youtube)
com.google.android.music (Google Play Music)
com.google.android.gms (Google Play Services)
com.google.android.gms.location.history (Google Play Tracking Location)
com.google.android.printservice.recommendation (Print Service)
com.google.android.apps.subscriptions.red (Google One)
com.google.android.apps.photos (Google Photos)
com.google.android.apps.docs (Google Drive)
com.google.android.apps.maps (Google Maps)
com.google.android.apps.youtube.music (Youtube Music)
com.google.android.apps.tachyon (Google Duo)
com.google.android.apps.walletnfcrel (Google Pay)
com.google.android.apps.wellbeing (Google Digital Well Being App)
com.google.android.apps.googleassistant (Google Assistant)
I also deleted com.google.android.gmf (Google Play Services Framework) but don't delete that unless you're going to step 3.
Motorola
com.motorola.android.fmradio (FM Radio)
com.motorola.fmplayer (FM Radio)
com.motorola.genie (Moto Help)
com.motorola.moto (Moto)
Step Three - Installing the MicroG without TWRP can seem hard but it really isn't. First off, if you delete everything I listed above like I did you will be stuck with a crispy clean device that can't run apps like Instacart and Messages thanks to deleting that mess of Google Play Services. (you will get them slow as hell and you won't be able to send them). This wasn't an issue of Android 9 deleting Google Play Services but it is on Android 10.
Keep in mind my phone has Root via Magisk, Bootloader Unlocked, and has R/W access. I cannot guarantee this will work if you don't meet those prerequisites so proceed at your own risk and with caution.
Files
Since we don't have TWRP we are going to have to figure out another way to flash MicroG in and ensure it passes SafetyCheck. I tried initially downloading all the .apks of MicroG and installing them through the Package Installer and that went nowhere, and since I didn't find any tutorials on getting MicroG in I just played with this method.
****Notes Before We Proceed****
Take a deep breath, relax, and just know if you goof you can re-install the stock rom and get it back. I didn't brick doing the following but there's always that possibility. Also, keep in mind my bootloader is unlocked, I have Root, and I have R/W access on my partitions. Proceed with caution and at your own risk.
1. Install Franco Kernel Manager and F-Droid to your device.
2. Upload MicroG to your device.
3. Open F-Droid and look for "UnifiedNlP (no GAPPS)". Install it once you find it. That will stop some of your apps from popping up with messages they aren't working.
4. Open up Franco Kernel Manager.
5. Go to the three lines that make up a square on the bottom right hand side, select it, and in the menu select Flasher.
6. Select Manual Flasher at the bottom of the screen. Go to the file directory where you saved the MicroG.
7. A screen should pop up asking if you want to flash with two options Just Flash or Flash and Reboot. I selected Just Flash.
8. After selecting either/or, let the flash commence until done.
9. Check your pulldown menu at the top of the screen for a notification that it successfully flashed.
10. Once you confirm MicroG flashed, reboot phone.
11. Take a breath as it reboots.
12. Voila! You have a debloated Google phone running streamline MicroG, and best of all WITHOUT COVID TRACKING SOFTWARE. You will know if it was successful as MicroG has an app cog settings icon in your app drawer. Select it to be taken to its menu.
13. Select Self-Check. Set your permissions at your taste to ensure MicroG works well with your phone. Some things will be pre-checked, but you can give permission access to what you prefer.
That's it. This phone has definitely been a journey for me!

That doesn't works well. There are a lot of AT&t SOFTWARE and modules should be removed from phone , and without root rights its impossible. They (AT&T) installed even own dialer which blocks system menus. So its hard job to recompile OS image and make it without bloatware of AT&T. Hope someone will try.
And finally got some old variant at&t de-bloating adb script in.bat format (for windows) - https://disk.yandex.com/d/MCliEyCPfj7ZZ/Z2F+ATT+Debloated.bat

This is why this will only work if you achieve root which is SPECIFICALLY MENTIONED. AT&T and Verizon lock their phones down so you're out of luck my friend.
Welp. As they say, I f'd around and found out. I must have over deleted and got a core system component because now when I power on it gets to the blue Motorola "Powered by Android" screen and stays stuck there. Hopefully I don't now own a brick. Any ideas on how I can recover? My bootloader is unlocked but I only have a standard recovery (no TWRP).
For context, I am old. I used to do this kind of thing regularly with Cyanogen mod 6+ years ago but have been out of the game since then. This is my first foray back into the custom fray. Got a little too cocky. :-\
Thanks in advance for any advice.

Go to lolinet and find your firmware. Then follow the instructions on the how to flash guide to get you to where you started except your bootloader will remain unlocked. Then start again with root, r/w access, and debloat. At least that is what I had to do.

Sure rooting magisk and adb as a try, what they do Att and verizon is putting their software as system apps(dialers, checkers, unlockers and so on), don't convince that unlocking is not possible by having skills, talent , knowledge and hand in right direction. I would try install clean Android 11 or 12 and add motorola software and it will be done, just will need to know more about porting.

I ended up just using the motorola recovery tool to restore the original config. I then went back and removed all of the safe packages except for play store. I did remove about a dozen other motorola and google packages and all is running well. simplemobiletools.com had a suite of replacement apps via F-Droid that work really well. Thanks again.

That has nothing to do with achieving root, which can't be done if you can't get the bootloader unlocked and ATT/VZW are notorious for locked bootloaders...
Hope one day their carrier malware (lock) will be hacked. As they (att) hacking phones installed att mobile security, prefix helper app and now hided them .Beside this they not allowing updates - roms comes with fresh patches even Android 11 somewhere - no way to update via phone menu check for updates, even "Google Play security update" rollbacks to Aug 2020. Contacting Motorola never helped - beside marketing terms that the phone was made to att nothing else. Making me so angry - so i actually think i bought Android 10 with att programs for $152. Sure i can brick it and try restore with qualcomm tools - but i won't risk in near future. I will find that peoples with "right hands" to root that moto. Merry Christmas thought!
What's the -k switch for in the pm uninstall command? Thanks

MARCH/APRIL 2021 UPDATE: Due to Google putting automatic contact tracing COVID19 software on the phone via Playstore, I've updated the list as I use NO google products now and download everything I need from APKPure.
If you want to get rid of the contract tracing app, it's com.google.android.gms (Google Play Services).
These are the ones I've safely removed without any system problems:
Facebook:
com.facebook.services
com.facebook.katana
com.facebook.system
com.facebook.appmanager
Google:
com.android.vending (Google Playstore)
com.android.chrome (Chrome Browser)
com.android.hotwordnerollment.okgoogle (Google Assistant Listening Device)
com.android.hotwordnerollment.xgoogle (Google Assistant Componenet)
com.google.android.gm (Gmail)
com.google.android.calculator (Calculator)
com.google.android.calendar (Calendar)
com.google.android.syncadapters.calendar (Calendar Sync)
com.google.android.contacts (Google Contacts)
com.google.android.syncadapters.contacts (Google Contacts Sync)
com.google.android.videos (Google Play Movies and TV)
com.google.android.googlequicksearchbox (Google Search Bar On Home Pg)
com.google.android.youtube (Youtube)
com.google.android.music (Google Play Music)
com.google.android.gms (Google Play Services)
com.google.android.gms.location.history (Google Play Tracking Location)
com.google.android.printservice.recommendation (Print Service)
com.google.android.apps.subscriptions.red (Google One)
com.google.android.apps.photos (Google Photos)
com.google.android.apps.docs (Google Drive)
com.google.android.apps.maps (Google Maps)
com.google.android.apps.youtube.music (Youtube Music)
com.google.android.apps.tachyon (Google Duo)
com.google.android.apps.walletnfcrel (Google Pay)
com.google.android.apps.wellbeing (Google Digital Well Being App)
com.google.android.apps.googleassistant (Google Assistant)
I also deleted com.google.android.gsf (Google Play Services Framework) but don't delete that unless you're going to step 3.
Motorola
com.motorola.android.fmradio (FM Radio)
com.motorola.fmplayer (FM Radio)
com.motorola.genie (Moto Help)
com.motorola.moto (Moto)

I'm not sure I could do everything in this guide, but I did want to ask, and if I missed the info, I apologize, but my phone is through T-Mobile so I'm not sure what I'm allowed to delete. I'm definitely a noob when it comes to debloating an android, but my last Moto was with Verizon, and I didn't have nearly the bloatware on that one! This is a real pain, as you know. I did a few easy things included in this video.
My phone is a Moto One 5G Ace and it does have the Qualcomm Snapdragon (all specs). I'd love to get to a place, at least in my head, where I would be ready to get rid of Google and it's monopoly, so I am interested in your guide. I am always searching out alternatives, and I'm open to trying new things, learning etc. I'm 69 now so I'm not running on as many marbles as I had in earlier years.
I'll keep looking around xda and see if I can find more info on bloatware removal, some baby-steps for me to do at first. Any feedback welcome and thank you for sharing your amazing accomplishment.

I hate Bloatware. And with newer models of Android OS its getting harder to do it. It's a tedious method, but should help you out removing a few things. And trust me, this thing has a CRAPTON of bloat on it.
MARCH/APRIL 2021 UPDATE: Due to Google putting automatic contact tracing COVID19 software on the phone via Playstore, I've updated the list as I use NO google products now and download everything I need from APKPure.
If you want to get rid of the contract tracing app, it's com.google.android.gms (Google Play Services).
These are the ones I've safely removed without any system problems:
Facebook:
com.facebook.services
com.facebook.katana
com.facebook.system
com.facebook.appmanager
Google:
com.android.vending (Google Playstore)
com.android.chrome (Chrome Browser)
com.android.hotwordnerollment.okgoogle (Google Assistant Listening Device)
com.android.hotwordnerollment.xgoogle (Google Assistant Componenet)
com.google.android.gm (Gmail)
com.google.android.calculator (Calculator)
com.google.android.calendar (Calendar)
com.google.android.syncadapters.calendar (Calendar Sync)
com.google.android.contacts (Google Contacts)
com.google.android.syncadapters.contacts (Google Contacts Sync)
com.google.android.videos (Google Play Movies and TV)
com.google.android.googlequicksearchbox (Google Search Bar On Home Pg)
com.google.android.youtube (Youtube)
com.google.android.music (Google Play Music)
com.google.android.gms (Google Play Services)
com.google.android.gms.location.history (Google Play Tracking Location)
com.google.android.printservice.recommendation (Print Service)
com.google.android.apps.subscriptions.red (Google One)
com.google.android.apps.photos (Google Photos)
com.google.android.apps.docs (Google Drive)
com.google.android.apps.maps (Google Maps)
com.google.android.apps.youtube.music (Youtube Music)
com.google.android.apps.tachyon (Google Duo)
com.google.android.apps.walletnfcrel (Google Pay)
com.google.android.apps.wellbeing (Google Digital Well Being App)
com.google.android.apps.googleassistant (Google Assistant)
I also deleted com.google.android.gsf (Google Play Services Framework) but don't delete that unless you're going to step 3.
Motorola
com.motorola.android.fmradio (FM Radio)
com.motorola.fmplayer (FM Radio)
com.motorola.genie (Moto Help)
com.motorola.moto (Moto)

So will the method using ADB shell not work on this phone? It works on every other device I currently own with or without root.
Just verified that using the ADB shell method works very well on this device.

You can safely delete everything I've listed. It doesn't delete specific carrier apk's that would affect service but be advised to my warnings.

Hey thanks for your interest in this nice phone and in my thread!
Sorry for late reply but yesterday I managed to install Google Play with a tutorial from this site too but for Kindle Fire.
I used Root Explorer and have done as you say too and it works flawlessly ^^.
The problem is that I don't know how to install a recovery.
I hope more people have this nice phone and we are able to share as much info as we can, I really like it. My last phone was a Samsung Galaxy Spica and I am tired of it because it's crap >_<.
Thank you so much for you effort!
P.S: btw, I would want to know whether there are different versions of GoogleFramework or Vending, because I don't know if they have to be the same for it to work. I mean, with the actual Google Framework and Vending I can still continue updating Google Play app or it will crash since I have to update to the same version the other two?

Hey I have a question about your procedure: what's the use of ETC, FRAMEWORK and LIB folders?, I just moved all the apk and fixed permissions and everything works fine. I could even install Google Maps and use it without problems and I can see inside FRAMEWORK folder there's something related with Google Maps so in the PERMISSIONS folder.
Just installing the apk's will give me any problem in the future?
Thanks for your effort!

Ohhh, I'm so sorry.
Can't you put the phone into Download Mode by pressing volume+ power buton?
I wonder how to do a firmware backup so you can restore the phone with it using Odin and return it to life. I would be good in case we do further unsuccessful moves T_T. It's a pity I'm not an android developer or pro and I can't help you as much as I would want, sorry.

This incident wouldn't have happened if i had a backup and restore function in recovery!! I have found a chinese website with the changhong z-me firmware but i cant download because I'm a newbie apparently i have to 52 prestiege to download?! I think the firmware is a .nb0 as in the recovery there is a option for "download nb0 from sd card". I have found a website on how port CWM. http://www.acsyndicate.net/how-to-porting-cwm-to-other-devices-os-x-part1/
Good news is i got a z-me firmware but when i flash PID doesnt match or something. Dude can you plz do me a favour. If u can check for update for ur phone and then share it on this thread! So i can recover my phone.
Dude can u plz provide me ur phones build.prop (it hasnt got anything personal (just incase your wondering )) i just need to check something as i cant access my phone.
Thanks
Hello, sorry for late reply!.
Well, I don't know how to check PID, the info I cal tell you is:
Baseband Version: PCR
Kernel Version: Apps_2.6.32.9-perf
Build Number: 7001_3_180
I don't know whether that info is useful to you, but that's what it says in the "about phone" section, among other trivial things.
And as for the update you say, there's a "check for updates" option inside the phone, but it always says there's no update avaliable.
I will try to find some info about the phone in some chinese sites.
About the build.prop thing you say, I paste you the text:

P.S: By the way, I have noticed that the WIFI module makes my phone very hot and my girlfriend's one too. The worst thing is that when I active the wifi the battery only lasts 6-8 hours and that's not normal. Maybe some issue with drivers? I have seen the module is WCN1314 but the drivers are WCN1312 I have seen somewhere, is that normal?
Hey! good news.
I found a site which seems huge about phone official and custom ROMS from china (http://www.shendu.com/), but Changhong Z-Me isn't listed. I think it's a matter of time it will appear in there I think. I just have tested the phone with antutu test 2.9.4 (gave me 3010) and there are more Changhong's Z-Me, but some have ICS 4.0.3!.
I hope we can get ICS or Jelly Bean for this nice phone, ar at least some custom Gingerbread roms ^^
EDIT1: I have also found a person explaining how to recover the mobile or something like that (it is translated with google sorry). Check this out, and let's hope it can solve the problem:
http://bbs.ahong.com/viewthread.jsp?tid=686&extra=page203D1
Yes hopefully we do!!! The thing is MSM 7227A gets ICS and the MSM 8255 doesnt eventhough its better?! Hopefully i can recover my phone! I think the recovery is in beta mode as somethings don't work.
I would say just the CPU isn't enough because if so we would be able to put even Jelly Bean, because MSM8255 CPU is so spreadly used. I wish I could be an Android programmer >_<.

Hey, I've got a new problem about the phone. It isn't that important, but it gives on my nerves: the phone deletes any contact I edit. After pressing "done" button it deletes the contact and a pup up message tells me that "the contact does not exist".
I don't want to install another phone book because I like this one, simple and fast, and it does not eat much RAM, aspect which I consider very important.
A thing would be to replace this phone and address book with the Gingerbread stock ones, but I've been reading that it could make a crash loop in the phone.
Have you repaired yours already?
Let's keep in touch!

Maybe I'll look in to this problem! No i haven't repaired my phone yet as I'm busy with my studies so hopefully I will be able to get it up and running again soon! Hopefully someone will be able to get CWM/TWRP recovery up and running on this device!!

It's someway nice, I managed to repair the problem I was having with the missing edited contacts. Now the phone edits and saves them with no problems ^^. In case you have this problem in the future, I explain what I did:
1 - Backup all contacts to your Gmail, vcard or csv file.
2 - Turn sync contacts off (all accounts) and delete all contacts in your phone.
3 - Go to all applications and look for one called "Contacts Storage".
4 - Do a "Clear Data" and turn on Sync Contacts again, or whether you prefer import them all from the vcard file.
*If you use SIM contacts I don't know whether the program would delete them as it does with the ones stored in the phone, I didn't tested it.
Greetings.
My phone is alive
my phone is alive!!! But before it was 2.3.7 with the wo 3g logo on boot now it is official changhong z-me 2.3.7. But as long as i got it working doesn't matter!!

Hey!, sorry for the late reply.
I'm really happy you could fix it. I've been out from PC because of studies and family, but now I have some spare days jeje.
I have to say I also updated my changhong with the original firmware and the logo is as you say, and it swept out almost every annoying chinese app LOL.
I installed again the google fix and everything is working flawlessly.
P.S: btw, the google fix you uploaded lacks Google Calendar. IT does not matter, because I just installed Calendar and it works fine, no problems so far. Thanks again.
P.S 2: I noticed you added a link for the recovery file. I found another recovery file which seems to be different to the one you found (different size). I found in the official changhong forum (here's the link: http://bbs.ahong.com/viewthread.jsp?tid=1933&extra=page=2 ). Should it be other CWM version?, I still didn't try it, that why I ask, maybe you did .

I did it last night...with a CM7 ROM...apps and frameworks pull were successful....then while deodexing....with the latest version of xUltimate it was failing for each app..then I try with V2.2....It went right...with some 8-9 apps failed.....I deleted .odex for those manually.......Now I have all deodexed apks....but did not get free time to push them back in phone.....So not sure whether the whole process was a success or not....
@Arjav....each time I encountered an error...I deleted the odex....and I ran the deodexing part from the scratch again...Is it the right method? Suppose I got the error with the last app.....then do I need to run the whole deodexing step again....from the very first app?

So, in the end of the past year I have finally got to root my china replica (fake) Galaxy SIII
Everything was working just fine, until I remove some app from the /system/app directory, because this replica comes with almost no internal space, although I thought I was removing only unnecessary apps. I removed two that should not have been removed, the phone started to act erratically, it would fully start, but the screen just showed the wallpaper a blinked nonstop.
After my first moment of despair, I tried to solve it, throwing everything back on it, that stopped the blinking screen and showed the apps shortcuts on the main screen again. Then I started removing one app at time interspersed with a reboot. After removing what I didn't want left, except the only two necessary apps, I went to the Play Store, to download some apps and enjoy the new freed up internal space, only to discover that it simply didn't open anymore.
At first it would load, then show the upgrading screen (from market to play store) and when I tapped *continue" the app would just shutdown, and I was back at the app launcher, then I tried again just to even attempt open the app, the screen would change to the loading, but very quickly, it would shutdown again.
After my second moment of despair, I tried installing apps via ADB, and it worked, and so did the apps, every app that I installed worked just fine, but it wouldn't be updated unless I could find the .apk file and install it again via ABD. What, in some cases, is simply impossible.
Than I found a site, that would send the download link of the .apk file to my email, and I could download it in my phone, which was not an update but it was better than have to install anything via ADB. Then I tried to launch one of those apps, only to discover that my browser would crash with a F/C when I tapped save in the download pop-up.
After weeks searching for solutions and for any clue in this issue, I discovered that within the Dropbox's application directory contained a lot of .txt files.
Reading these files, I discovered what is causing the malfunction of the Play Store and the download function in the Browser, and it is the same thing. The problem is I don't know what to do to solve this.
Following below are some examples of the .txt files:

Hello Hugo, total noob here. Thanks for informing us of your issue. I'm almost near the rooting process, I'm pretty sure we have the same unit. Just out of curiousity, what were the two apps you removed that caused your phone to malfunction?
I'm still stuck with rooting the device because everytime I use the DOOMTOOL I get up to the point where it says, "read only memory"... As previously discussed in the other thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2061069&page=4
Thanks for all your inputs... I'm so confused with these China clones
It seems to me you should just do a factory reset if that is an option.
Yeah...

I've tried that, three times actually, after I pushed back those two apps in the /system/app directory, I did a factory reset, but it didn't work :/
SOLVED.

Does anyone knows what it means? Or how to solve it? I really want this to work and despite it is taking up all of my free time, and I cannot come up with a solution.
Thanks in advance
Sorry for the bad English.

SOLVED.
The issue was caused by lack of a system application, the application "donwloadprovider.apk".
The problem was identified by comparing the "/system/app" directory in two similar devices, and noticing that the application was missing.
The solution:
Copy the application from the working device(A) to a computer.
Push via ADB the application to the malfunctioning device (B) "/system/app" directory.
Reboot device B.
Thanks Everyone for the help.
Especial thanks to Chico_PinoyCracker, Since he's the owner of "Device A".
Thanks Man.
Hello,
here I present you a modified ZeTime apk 1.4.3 with added support for Signal notifications. :victory:
Notifications from Signal are registered as Telegram, which is already supported.
So your messages will show up on your wrist, but with the Telegram logo, which is not a problem to me.
To use this apk, you have to uninstall the original apk,
because the apk have been signed with a different key and will not install therefor.
Best to backup your original apk and your data, to be safe. After install you cannot update through google play, you have to re-do the above steps, if you want to go back to the original app.
I have installed my modified version and restore the apk data and could use everything without setting up anything again.
I think to have the correct logo, the firmware of the ZeTime watch have to be updated to include that picture...
Let me know, how you feel about this.
Any suggestions are welcome.
I have downloaded maybe all firmware versions available for the ZeTime Regular and there are some versions that were not available as download through the app. Google Drive - The Petite may have different firmware files.
XDA:DevDB Information
ZeTime - add notification support for more apps, App for all devices (see above for details)

have you messed with the latest apk version? Added any tweaks? I updated and now can see notifications for almost every app.

No haven't done anything further. Like you have said the app has been improved, so that much more notifications are send.
i also tried to decompile the app and change some stuff. decompiling works and code is well readable.
but i am not able to build the new apk from the decompiled source.
i am new to android development (java-dev since many years ).
any hints how you have build the new apk?

Hi,
I used apktool to decompile and compile the apk.
Using the command
Code:
apktool d -r
for decompiling, the d obviously for decompile and -r for without resources,
so just decompile the code. And after the changing I just use
Code:
apktool b
for building. Then align and sign the apk and you are
ready to install it.
This is the only thread I found about zetime. And I have a question. I really dislike the actual OS of the watch.
Do you think it is possible to replace the OS with Android Wear or asteroid OS?
I guess, if we change the sources in the APK it would be possible, isn't it?

First the OS is downloaded as zip from a webserver and is then transmitted through the app to the watch, so nothing to change inside the apk.
Perhaps you didn't know, but the ZeTime is powered by a Cortex M4, which hasn't got the processing power to handle a big OS, besides the watch has very limited space. I think it is 1 MB and I don't think Wear OS will fit that size, does it?!
But you could write or use your own OS on the watch. Maybe ask MyKronoz if they give us more info about their firmware.
I don't much about zetime. But if you say the processor isn't powerful enough you're right. I was just trying to find a way to change the OS because the OS is the only bad thing in this watch.
But thank you for your answer, at least I know now.
Hi all,
Here's a weird issue. Looking for your inputs.
I have Redmi 4 prime, using its the last released update - MIUI 11 / Android 7. During initial rooting days, SuperSu was found to be getting detected by BHIM. But after removing SuperSu, all worked fine. I had been using it with Magisk 20.4 for a few months and it was working fine.
After Magisk upgrade in November, BHIM started detecting root. All other apps worked normally and without any ROOT notifications.
Yesterday, i have flashed the stock ROM, yet BHIM detects root - which is unexpected. All other apps continue to working normally.
Any suggestions how to go about it ??
I have another Redmi4 prime and BHIM works perfectly with latest Magisk in that device. So i know that the issue lies within this specific device.
These are the non-system apps installed in my phone retrieved using
adb shell pm list packages -3
